the room was clean, a bit outdated, but very clean... The staff was friendly and accommodating.... check- in and check-out was a breeze.... the complimentary breakfast was tasty and fresh......
could hear the highway noise
I haven't stayed in many hotels/motels before, but I like this one. This was my second time at the Econo Lodge in Jacksonville. It's close to Camp Lejeune. The location is just convenient. The employees are friendly and they're good at what they do. I will probably be staying there again!
i have no complaints (:
Dirty and run down
place was clean
breakfast was not good
Friendly staff, nice pool.
Homeless people begging for money outside my room, TERRIBLE BREAKFAST which included bagles and a choice of 3 cereals..
Front desk staff was great and the pool was nice.
Hotel looked run down and there were scary clientele.
As soon as you walk into lobby you are greeted with a humid setting was probably 80 degrees in there as well as breakfast area. Too hot to eat.
Not a whole lot. We liked it when we left and went home. The female attendant was inhospitable and more worried abut the boyfriend in the breakfast room. The male attendant was more friendly and professional.
Room was hot, had to leave fan running on high constantly. Then we couldn't hear tv. Carpet was dirty. Our feet and socks kept getting dirty. Poor selection at breakfast. No shallow entry into pool. Not child friendly. Front desk would not give us any additional pillows. Gave us a hard time on additional towels when we missed room service. Elevator was stifling hot. Parking lot was dangerous with thru traffic and vagrants. Very very poor experience on all levels. Poor value for the money. Should be a 49.99 dollar motel, not 69.99.
The only thing good about this hotel is the location. In the heart of Jacksonville NC good for shopping and resturants.
the rooms stunk, toliet got clogged. Pool had hundreds of live bugs in it. Avoid this hotel
Everything was just messy and didn't feel comfortable sleeping there for one night. I won't recommend this to no one. It's dirty and smelly.
That breakfast was included.
The hotel was very dirty & un-kept. Just because you don't have all the bells and whistles so you can be more reasonable, doesn't mean it's an excuse to be nasty!! The elevator floors were disgusting & sticky, the shower had mold in it, the paint on the walkways outside of the rooms was peeling off, the TV came over on the Mayflower & the remote didn't work, etc...... I guess you get what you pay for so I will save up and make sure that I stay at a hotel that cares about its appearance & cleanliness.
The selection of the channels
The pool that was in the picture on the website wasnt there. False advertising. The tv wasnt updated. Bad color in it. Breakfast only had waffle or toast. No donuts or eggs
The cleaning staff was amazing. The woman who cleaned our room was so friendly and told us where to go to find a park and the nearby museum. And the women at the front desk we spoke to was also extreamly nice. She was also from the same area as we were and she talked to us while we ate and she cleaned up!
Everything was great!
Staff Comfy bed Not too far from oaj
Wifi took a few minutes to work but always did No light bulb in one lamp. A little weird lol Other noisy customers
Location was great!
The personality that checked me in, a real winner....A facility in a military town that does not respect the military (refusing military ID) then refusing to return copies of other ID when requested which would prevent identity theft of the ID owner...lying to the customer about their address...just straight up unprofessional....never again!! The facility was nasty, dirty and smelled of beer. (hallway and elevator) Breakfast Bar - milk spilled on counter, hot water container was a container of cold water, cereal on counter, juice watered down....poor excuse for a breakfast bar...never again! For a facility in a military...if this was your best service, I would hate to see how you really feel about the military men, women and families that support your establishment! But then again maybe you figure they (military members) do more with less....why not follow suit with the service provided by your establishment. Never again!! R/, Paige-Cave
I liked how close it was to most everything there
Check out is at 11:00. So me and my boyfriend were "saying goodbye" for lack of a more pg way to say it, and house keeping opens the door and walked in at 10:20. Not really the way we wanted to end that. I thought it was extremely unprofessional. We didn't get a knock or anything to warn us that someone was coming in
There was nothing we liked. In fact we will not recommend this motel at all.
The room had an odd smell that wouldn't go away. There was hair in the bathtub. We ask for a cart to carry our luggage and the desk clerk said it must be somewhere else in the motel. Did not offer to help in any way.
Price and easy in and out
Lack of full size pillows. Breakfast should more than sausage and wafflrs or cold cereal. TV was a joke and everything was greenish
Bed was comfortable, elevators made it easier with luggage being I have had 3 back surgeries.
Gentleman walking up and down hall passing rooms and one time knocked on my granddaughters door. Staff took care of the problem.Wish the breakfast went till 11 o'cock, on vacation don't wish to get up early.
my two problems that I had is; 1 the stairways smell like urine and second the breakfast buffet did not really have a good selection of breakfast item's
employes were friendly and,. service breakfast was ample & .and ..FREE your personel were clean and knew their jobs.
couldnt streach our visit longer!!!
Staff was very helpful at the front desk
Maid did not leave clean towels or. empty trash.
