Very familiar and friendly receive. Near to the center. Very helpful " helicopter mother " Good breakfast.
location very, good, staff excellent , breakfast very good, clean .
3rd floor ok if you are 40yrs or younger ,very steep when you are carrying travel bags must pay allot of attention all the time ,if you have a room with eves this is an issue as the room is not square and you will bump your head all the time getting in and out of bed .we will ask for the 1st or 2nd floor on our next trip,
Everything! Great stay at the century house. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be back!
King Room on First Floor was perfect.!
JeanE, the hostess is charm personified. She gives you the warmest of welcomes and is on hand to tell you everything you need to know about the island. Century House is no distance from town and a perfect refuge, full of antiques and the comforts of home!
The location is great. Center of town is a leisurely walk and picturesque. Staff was quite hospitable. Children loved the afternoon cookies!! There was plenty of seating on surrounding porches to enjoy the view and relax. We had the two bedroom suite on the second floor and it was comfortable for us and our 2 preteens.
One thing that we did not care for was the window air conditioners. Also, the children's bathroom, had no window for ventilation and became quite warm because the doors were to be kept closed so not to trigger the fire alarms.
Great location Friendly proprietor Nice appointments Excellent bedding Nice breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and great coffee Snacks, coffee, ice water always available
Accommodations were nice and it was a quiet place to relax.
Room and bathroom were a bit small but adequate.
The warm welcome from Jean and Gerry. Breakfast in the morning was great - lots of food and lots of good company and conversation. The location was excellent because you could walk into town and walk to the beaches. The room was comfortable. We even had a little balcony to sit out on and read. Would stay there again.
The cosy ambiance and the funny owner.
You can't smoke weed inside
I liked the location and porch. Loved playing cards and sitting on the porch. so relaxing. Located near everything we needed to see.
The room we stayed in was small and was not advertised to meet the actual description. Home cooked breakfast would have been a nice touch but the fruit and muffins were nice. Ran out of oatmeal quickly.
We loved the warmth, friendliness and ease of the owners interactions with guests. The location to town was walkable and an opportunity to see the beautiful homes. Other guests included several artists who we're exhibiting in town - fun to see their work at the art gallery.
The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. Always had beverages and snacks available. Breakfast was yummy and location was nice.
Rooms are tiny. There is a lack of space in the bathroom for personal toiletries.
Jeanie and Garry's personal touch, warmth and charm made us feel totally at home. The delicious breakfast, peaceful rest and charming decor made the stay a wonderful and enjoyable experience.
A lovely Nantucket Inn, well located with terrific and knowledgeable hosts. Our two bedroom suite was somewhat cramped.
Very quiet and close to town.
The breakfast is amazing, as are the innkeepers!
From the warm welcome, to the afternoon cookies we were treated with care and significance. The Inn Keepers have created a unique ambiance and charm.
Walking distance to quaint shopping area. Very historic bed and breakfast. Comfortable bed.
Musty smelling bedroom! Fruit flys all over the fruit at breakfast.
Loved the charm of the house and the warm welcoming inn- keepers, Jean and Jerry. The location was perfect - close to town and beaches. The house was clean and staff accommodating. We will definitely be going back!
We loved the warm welcome by the inn keepers. We were celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary, and we're greeted with a bottle of champagne-- nice touch! We stayed in the Daffodil, which included a king size canopy bed, sitting area, and nice size bathroom. We enjoyed the original, Nantucket paintings on the walls. The location is an easy walk into town-- it took us about five minutes. The porch was a great place to have breakfast or listen to the Blues guitarist who happened to be visiting with us. We rented bikes and explored the island--had a fantastic time!
Shower door was difficult to close.
One of the finest B&B's I have ever stayed at and I recommend it so much!
The bed and breakfast was just blocks from the town center and restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Facilities were clean and pleasant.
Splendid Jean and Jerry, splendid house, splendid island
We were given wonderful recommendations by the staff on places to visit and eat.
