The gracious welcome, relaxing porch and soothing rocking chairs to begin and end each day. Feeling at home, never-ending suggestions on things to do or places to eat. Jane and Lucy.
Location. Room size. Bed comfort
Refrigerator in room and in kitchen both too small to hold a cake box. Cake was ruined in one day.
Friendly, charming, clean and comfortable.
Thin walls, could hear man snoring in room across the hall.
It was within walking distance to downtown Oaksbluff. We loved sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs and meeting other travelers and talking for hours in the evening. It is an adorable little B&B! Jane is a wonderful hostess!
Very quiet, cozy bed and breakfast right off Circuit. Less than a block from everything.
Internet and room size
Narragansett House has quintessential gingerbread architecture; Oak Bluffs charm and style in an ideal location. Every thought has been given to making you feel at home, not in an impersonal hotel. A haven of peace, though only a stone's throw from Circuit Ave. I would happily stay there again and again.
Location was perfect - convenient to everything downtown Oak Bluffs & the ferries...all by foot! Rooms are small, but quaint....bathroom of our room was small, but had a very modern shower and everything worked perfectly! Also had a cute small balcony overlooking the street. Coffee/Continental Breakfast room downstairs also!
Only a minor concern - the wall-to-wall carpet in our room wasn't the cleanest thing I have seen. Not sure why there was wall-to-wall (as opposed to floor or an area rug)...it may have been installed to minimize noise. - Loved this place though - perfect location and quaint old vineyard feel to house!
The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. The innkeepers were very friendly and accommodating. Location was excellent!
Breakfast is just cake coffee/tea and Orange juice. So if you need a more substantial breakfast this is not the place!
The owner was extremely friendly and helpful with accommodating us for an additional day. The beds were comfortable. The were extremely clean. Enjoyed the atmosphere mostly. Going back again next September
Location, tranquility, quality
Great hosts. Very helpful. Nice facility . Very clean.
Jane, the owner was so helpful. Made us feel so welcome and was a wealth of information to get around the island. The B&B was just what we expected and was within walking distance to almost everything we needed. Can't wait to go back.
I liked that it The Narragansett House was close to down town and within walking distance to lots of Stores, Park, camp + restaurants. The staff was very pleasant and I love the front porch. The Continental breakfast was yummy!
Just one little complaint. My room had a Glass Window over the door. The light was on all night in the Hall. I like to sleep in total darkness. But I did manage to sleep.
atmosphere and grounds were nice
rooms are small, it said breakfast was included, but the only food was coffee cake
The owner and staff went out of their way to make our stay AMAZING!!
Easy access to the ferry and all the shops. Great location if you don't have ypur vehicle on yhe island.
We had such a great time at Naragansett house, a true gem a block away from the sea, the main green and the main street. Really friendly staff who were more than willing to guide on places to visit, eat and just enjoy
Located in the "city center" of Martha's Vineyard; easy access to local public transit; close to everything in Oak Bluffs; Jean gave terrific insight on places to see and things to do.
The convenience of the location and the hospitality. Jane was very helpful for directions and choice of restaurants.
I picked our room for the little porch but didn't realize our bathroom was across the hall. That was a little inconvenient but mostly our room was over the coffee room and was noisy in the morning. But since we were only there for 2 nights these were not that big a deal.
The porch and the rocking chairs, location and staff. Saw other rooms and I would come back to stay in another room.
Stairs were very narrow. The room had no seating or mirrow. Had to kneel on bed to use the morrow.
Love the private bath and how easy it is to move around the property. Jane the hostess is friendly and extremely accommodating. The place is near everything I wanted and needed for my extended weekend stay in Oak Bluffs. It is a wonderful choice for traveling alone or in a pair.
Location was excellent. No vehicle necessary, couple of blocks from ferry and everything else in Oak Bluffs. Island bus service is very good to access other towns. Quiet street. Many 2nd floor rooms have private balconies street side. Owner is on site and is very helpful with info about the island. Off street parking if you need it.
Room was tiny. Had to lean over the bed to pass by it and clear slanted ceiling. No closet. Breakfast limited to coffee, juice, pastry.
The place, location, Room, Jane which was/is a lovely person...what else do I have to say, it's Martha's Vineyard folks :) Can't wait to be there again in the future!
