Everything - and everone was PERFECT!!! If possible. could you send me a copy of this survey - or just the comments. Thanks!
Just as Naswa was celebrating it's 80th anniversary, Ed was celebrating his 80th birthday, too. The Naswa staff provided a cake hats, candies and minisunglasses pins. He also received a complimentary wine, too. when we got back to Boston, he told everyone about Naswa. He raved and raved!
When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed and not many places open locally for food as it was the end of the season. We were surprised as we thought this was a popular time to visit the area to take in the autumn foliage.
The owner agreed to give us a full refund as there was nowhere to get something to eat as we were told it was the end of the season. They directed us to Charles Landing where we were abLe to stay in a lovely room and there were plenty of restaurants open.
loud music in bar. road noise. thin walls
free kayaks, helpful staff, great breakfast
Wifi did not work bad signal
Clean easy to get to.
No elevator, making it very difficult for a handicap person to get to our room on the bottom floor.
Comfortable beds, nice private balcony, close to Weirs Beach
I would have liked to put my own syrup on my toast as I'm always conservative with it. The first night young girls were near us as we were about to sleep and they kept us awake until what sounded like a parent stepped in. they seemed to be very near like next door. The second night around 2 to 3AM I was awakened by someone down below I think on a porch or just outside a room speaking loudly and it sounded like he was a little belligerent. Actually it was 2 males and one female. The one who sounded like a couple spoke more quietly but the other seemed to be actually trying to awaken the neighbors about them....and did. I realized with the music and bar across the street that I had chosen a place where perhaps the later night life was more of a focus, and I did not begrudge them that. We were wanting to rise early and seize the day and It just taught me how to search for places a little better which I appreciated.
the view of the lake topped most in the area as far as I could tell, as I kept looking while there. Also the room was quite comfortable, the service was fine, the staff polite, and quite friendly, but not overly or in your face friendly. They did not skimp on the linen when needed as some places have, and we all enjoyed the breakfast which was ample and good!
NASWA was a pleasant place to stay. I enjoyed my room at the water's edge.
Atmosphere and beach.
Wi-FI service never worked for me. Laptop and phone kept trying to connect but would not. Drained the battery on both.
Loved the resort, would definitely go back. Staff was great, food was good, beach and property was very clean.
The walls are thin and could hear voices from other rooms. Couldn't hear what was being said, but you could hear people talking.
Rooms outdated and small. Beds are terrible. We had a horrible night sleep. Overpriced for resort.
The staff is excellent! Outstanding customer service! Location is amazing!
The bed was a little hard..but not unbearable.
Just everything about the concept
Uncomfortable beds and pillows, old bathroom, booked a resort and got a motel, requested early check in and had to wait 2 hours.
Quiet. View. Porch.
Room was not ready at check in. Manager seemed indifferent to issue. It was ready within a half hour but the attitude at the time was- go away ,we'll call you.
View was nice. Food at bar was very good. Try the calamari.
beach, firepit, full serivces
The rooms are very small and they really could use some updating. It was a bit loud very late into the night with children running races right below our room. The staff should stop all the yelling and screaming. We paid extra to have a beachfront and lack of sleep at midnight was not our plan.
Liked the beachfront facilities with the sand and bonfire. The restaurant was very good and close to the bar and dock. The fireworks were an added surprise from across the lake. One could stay on sight for several days and never leave. Good food, music, activities and all around leisure fun.
Sturdier chairs need to be available for older folks outside, My mom got booted from the restaurant area with sturdy chair (in the shade) So the second day she had to stay in the room.
There wasn't anything not to like. Food pricey, but excellent. So happy to have found this place, plan to come next summer, but with a room facing the lake. Had my elderly mom who had to stay mostly in room, and didn't realize we wouldn't be facing the lake. I should have asked when booking. The free use of kayaks made the vacation even better!!!
Room was small, no microwave or mini fridge, which we have had in rooms much less costly.
We liked the staff, the beach, the food, the location
The rooms where small and the wifi didn't work that well
Had the best time love the beach bar and restaurant...everyone was so nice...
I felt the rooms need to be up graded. The beds feel like they have been slept in for the last 20 years. I felt like, because the resort was really geared towards families. The restaurant should have been geared towards the same thing. Where you have the menu geared towards families with kids, with family orientated prices.
The docking available for your boat, while you stay is awesome! The bar on the beach is cool. All the other activities you guys have going on are nice (fire pit, renting kayaks.) The people that work there are real nice. The restaurant is cool too. Love the over all decor of the place and atmosphere.
The location was great. The staff was wonderful. We loved the view and the fact that we could walk barefoot from our room to the beach and the bar and grill. The front desk helped me find a company for a seaplane ride. We were very happy with our whole stay
The room was comfy and clean but desparately in need of updating, particuarly the bathroom. Parking, and getting in and out of the parking lot is challenging!
The location is perfect, except for a little traffic noise, but if you are beachside, it's not bad. Beds were modest but comfortable enough. Breakfast was reasonably priced and very good. The food and drinks outside were also quite good.
The rooms need some updating for the price you are paying.
Right on the water, great bar
