I am not familiar with national city but it's super close to TJ the Mexican border. If you don't want to stay in Mexico it is a very short drive and very convenient. It is also very convenient to drive from national city to the heart of San Diego.

There is a lot to do for Harbor tour, Soo, Beach, and Midway Carrier Museum to just name few. Be aware that parking can be a pain and recommend spending the extra few bucks for the valet services in the area your visiting.

I was born and raised in National City...it will always be home in my heart. Although it has "grown up" too much for my personal taste, it's still a great place. Check it out! I don't think you will be disappointed.

Location is awesome, almost dead center of every place you want to go to or see. It's not the fanciest city but it sure has a lot of bit of everything. Getting to these places is a breeze a d the trolley pretty much runs along the main drag a short walk brings you to the center of N.C. So many different cultures in one city mames it hard to decide what to eat. I highly suggest Royal Mandarin, Napoleans Pizza, and Chuck E. Cheese for the little ones is always fun!
I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed! The room was not only comfortable but also had a refreshing scent, making it feel like a cozy home away from home. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel's location was ideal, conveniently situated for easy access to local attractions. What made the stay even more delightful was the incredibly friendly staff, who went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable experience
this was my second stay in this hotel, it still provides good service, the room is spacy, well equipped, the hotel is in walking distance to a San Diego tram station which allows to get to town within 15 minutes, room cleaning was on demand due to Covid-19, but worked well coffee machine pads were available on request,
For being in the area that it was in, the frontage rosd and the freeway was not bad. There were several places a few blocks away to a mile nearby, and a 7-Eleven right across the parking lot which was great. It served its purpose, a place to lay our heads in a clean environment.
The overall property was nice. The view was really nice from the front looking out over the bay. The facilities were accommodating and nice size for two. The kitchen area was clean. Overall it was quite except some work being done next door. Luckily it was the last night stay.
First entering the hotel disappointed me a lot. Looks old and not very clean. The reception, elevators very old and not clean. But inside the room is good and clean. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast was good in Covid19 situation
Really nice, clean hotel. The staff was super friendly. It felt like we were with a fancier hotel chain without the price. Location was great. Close to the freeway and within 15-20 minutes of all the things we wanted to do.
I love how lit up the whole area is. It was very well lit. I was traveling alone, and I really appreciated the lighting and security cameras. It was a nice stay. The light over my bed needed replaced though--easy fix.
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Clean room and friendly staff, always happy to help you with anything you might need. The location was pretty good, close to the highway, easy to get to the city.
