Score from 64 reviews Very good
The staff go out of its way to help you. Particularly Wendy, who is very helpful and friendly. It has extremely comfortable beds and pillows, strong wi-fi, washer and dryer and great decor.
I loved the hotel decor, and the pool. It was such a beautiful hotel.
Balcony door kept getting stuck, and had to sit in the bathroom to use the wifi. Room 408.
A deluxe king had 1 towel 1 washcloth for two adults and had to call for more at which time was offered one and when asked for more than one was responded to as though it was an absurd extravagant request. The remote didn't work and the channel guide in guest book in the room wasn't at all close to actual channels/programming; additionally tvs are archaic and ours had lines across the top
The rooms and hotel had a wonderful Native 'feeling' to them. The staff were excellent...always willing to help. Perfect place for traveling a few hours in each direction, and very close to the airport!
Should have an more places to get ice. Would help if each room had a microwave/fridge.
The room was nice and clean with a magnificent view.
The toilet was leaking all night. Very annoying.
Rooms was ok
The bugs but did see people spraying.
Bed was very comfortable did not like spread prefer comforter.
Front desk preferred we did not book with third party and made it very evident, one speed slow! Keys would not work in doors locks need repair. Money needs to be put into dining for wine glasses!
Shuttle service to area casino.
No lounge specials.
Everything was great staff, room,& food.. The pool was awesome and hot tub was great.. Definatly book here great location everything is 10 min or less away !
There was nothing I didn't like about this Hotel !
Standard hotel, nice decorations really soft king size mattress and wi-fi that worked well.
The Artist Rooms were a big draw, I was disappointed that there were only a few rooms that were painted by local artist….kinda misleading. The only other disappointment was the CRT television…really???
The Tee Pee in back
Need a free breakfast like Holiday Inn Express. Shower curtain seemed to small, water leaked out to floor. Tub would not drain...(repaired next time I used it)
My room stunk
Centrally located with a Starbucks nearby. Nice lobby with Native American decor.
There was a feeling of negativity when we entered. The staff was not friendly. We got to the room and our key wouldn't work. I went to use the bathroom and the toilet seat wasn't attached. They did send someone right away to fix it. The faucet in the shower is messed up and is difficult to regulate or turn off. There is only one elevator, so a lot of waiting. Overall, not a great experience.
Liked having the bar to visit, but it was under staffed and the poor girl bartending had no chance of keeping up.
Exercise room was in poor repair and left open to the pool so it was unbearably hot and humid; weight machine was broken; no attention to this area; couldn't get a refrigerator
The art throughout the hotel was great. The staff was friendly.
The elevators took forever and the pool wasn't very big
The bed was lumpy. I could hear the freeway traffic. Really hard to sleep! Housing keeping knocked on my door twice before check out time to ask when I was leaving!! Really uncomfortable!!
No wifi. No refrigerator. Very bare bones. Terrible uncomfortable beds- not even made well!
Location in relation to Sandia concert facilities
Lobby is dark and univiting.. Very under staffed.. Check in was lengthy due to one agent at front that answered the phone as switch board operator. Noisy facing the city lights.. American flag was horribly dirty..
Speed of check in. Staff is great.
The creepy wall paper in the room! OMG! I also did not like the way the drapes do Not block out the morning sun!
We wanted Northside ABQ location. Has many restaurants nearby. Kids loved indoor/outdoor pool.
Noise from I-25 and ongoing construction-- all-night... Patio sliding-door did not close.
comfortable bed and enjoyed the balcony
rude check in person (she was to follow up availability of refrig for room but never heard back from her); no towels in room upon arrival;vending machine on floor did not work; early close of room service, esp on weekend
I liked the decor of the place, the mostly friendly staff, the comfortable beds and pillows, the fact that pets were accepted there, and the convenient location.
I did not like that there weren't any screens on the sliding glass doors, no bath towels, no facial tissues, sheets that did not fit the thick mattresses, an elevator that worked sporadically, a dirty shower curtain and sheers, and carpets that needed to be cleaned. I also was charged $50 for "incidentals" and told it would be refunded in two days to my bank account. Still waiting.
I liked that I received a voucher for one free cocktail.
Room was spacious and comfortable. It was conveniently located just off of the highway. Free wifi in the room.
I had 2 separate consecutive bookings. I informed the front staff of this upon check-in and was told it wasn't a problem. I then received a phone call on the 3rd day to inform me that I was supposed to have been checked out that day even though my reservation was for 4 nights. I was then overcharged for my stay and when I went to get the problem fixed, a new staff was there alone and unable to fix the problem. The next day, the manager was able to refund the overcharge to my credit card.
Staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Free parking, free Wifi. Great interior design of the room and cool native motives/sculptures all over the hotel. Comfortable bed, generous bathroom amenities (second sink and mirror outside the bathroom itself, very handy). The food on the menu looked delicious, but we didn't get a chance to try it. Lots of other food/coffee options in walking distance.
I can't say anything about the regular rooms of the hotel, since I stayed in the special "designed by local artists" kinda room (because of a free upgrade - our initially booked room had been given away before we arrived).
