We were on 5th floor, we had a beautiful view of the ocean from our rooms and if it had been warm enough the balcony would have been used a lot. The staff in the breakfast area were excellent! The front desk staff was was very personable as well. Great location

It was off season. so many shops closed.
It was off season. so many shops closed.
also most areas are prepping for the summer season.
Summer season is loud and lots of people.
I would avoid spring break College invasion if you want to avoid noise.
The boardwalk is main focus of the beach.
In our opinion, the center of the boardwalk is the most active.
If you're older and want peace / relaxation. may not be for you.
B/B may be the answer off the strip.

Virginia Beach has a lot to offer from great beaches, entertainment, great restaurants etc. Gringos Mexican on Norfolk Avenue- great Mexican and I highly recommend the nostalgic Nicks Cafe of which a lot of the locals go with great food specials. Burgers are top notch. Too many places to list

If I could rate this place a negative zero I would but it's definitely a 1. Will be reporting this to management tomorrow. We checked in very late. Hair in the beds and tub. Refrigerator, toaster oven, and microwave dirty. Spider webs with some spiders throughout the house. Painting chipping throughout. Not the right number of beds listed. After I text management to verify. Extremely needs dusting, updating and some paint. Scuff marks throughout the whole house on the walls. Where's the foosball table? Extremely outdated. Very, very disappointed 😞

We went in Nov, so a lot of things were not open.
We went in Nov, so a lot of things were not open. We went to 2 local coffee shops and the Starbucks, and there was free coffee at our hotel. All the coffee was AWFUL, although the stuff at Starbucks was passable. We through all the other coffees away. All we can figure is it must be the city water, but we also though that it would be filtered. Bring your own water/coffee from home if you value a good cup of coffee in the morning like we do.
Building: The building construction seems to be good quality, with great noise insulation. Couldn't hear any noise in the corridors or in the rooms, and there were people
Location: The hotel is right there on the boardwalk and the beach, and you can walk to many places to eat and drink without having to drive.
Inside pool: they have a basic indoor pool, which is great if the weather is bad. Although it could use more natural light.
The room was oceanfront as implied by the hotel’s name. It’s location was centrally located near all of the strip attractions. We were able to walk to most locations. When we needed to drive, our car was parked in the lot in front of the hotel, not a parking garage- which was available across the street. We chose this because we were traveling with parents in their 80s that don’t care for car garages in the busy season.
The location was fantastic. All of the guest rooms face the ocean and each have private balconies. I appreciated that there was no smoking allowed on the balconies. I opted for the included breakfast which was nice. We recieved a little voucher for the restaurant in the hotel and it was freshly made when we ordered. The room was very clean. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating.
The hotel was old they had dried up food on the walls. The hotel had a bad smell they had roaches the room was full of flies. There were people outside prostitution and drug use. I had my 8 year old with me he was terrified. We was really uncomfortable so we end up parking close to the beach and staying in our car we lost out on a $134 dollars. I wouldn't let my dog stay here. Awful.
For the past 8 years, I've visited Virginia Beach in the fall. 6 of those 8 years, I've stayed at the Seahawk
It has always been clean. The staff has always been friendly. It is budget friendly, on the boardwalk and has a heated indoor pool and a jacuzzi. It is a great place to relax and shed your burdens to the cold waves of the Atlantic or hot jets in the jacuzzi
The staff was friendly and helpful. The newly renovated lobby is nice. The room and bathroom were spacious and the bed was comfy. The hotel restaurant is accommodating for those who want to do take-out/take-away because of the pandemic. It is affordable hotel located between Norfolk and Virginia Beach that provides a good home-base for exploring both areas.
Country Inn is located in the heart of Virginia Beach. Oceanfront. The parking garage is inside the hotel, with access to each floor. Guests are able to park on the same floor as their room, making loading and unloading vehicles convenient. The free breakfast is very good. The staff are friendly. The hotel is very clean.
The hotel was centrally located to everything you need on the boardwalk. They have a parking garage (one car per reservation) which is a plus since we parked the car and never went back for it until we left. The breakfast that the hotel provides was fantastic. The rooms were quiet and had great views of the ocean.
I loved the location, with the hotel being on the boardwalk we were literally steps off the beach. When we got upstairs to our room we were pleasantly surprised, my 4 year old grand daughter said Gigi it's beautiful😁😂😅!!
We Loved the Hotel location. It was on the boardwalk. The beach and the ocean was in the hotel backyard. The hotel provided parking space. Once we parked our vehicle, we could walk to whatever else we needed.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Great location right on the boardwalk. Close to many restaurants but in an area that was not crowded and congested.
We were lied to and told hotel was on the beach it was not. We were told parking was free and it was not. I don’t blame hotel they were fine Booking.com lied
The room was just fine and the hotel is in a great/prime location! Right on the beach! The room though was not entirely clean, we found hair in the shower.
