Nice photos of the facilities online. Nice convention center area.
Half of the grounds are a convention area. The other half is lodging. The lodging feels homemade, a little sloppy, and much more dated than the convention buildings. Looked like a dog previously locked in our bathroom ate the bottom of the door off. Overall, the room felt gross.
The facility itself.
No restaurant on premises.
Rooms need updates
The comfort and scenery was absolutely beautiful, will definitely come again.
Swimming pool and playground equipment
We had a room with 2 queen beds . Our bed was extra firm and not very comfortable. It made you sore the next morning.
Our child was staying and playing in a weekend tennis tournament at Newks and we stayed at T Bar M. Very close and convenient. Loved the setting. The mattresses in our room appeared new and were amazingly comfortable. Will definitely stay here again! Would like to stay in one of the cabins next time. Wish we had a longer stay.
Not a fan of Starbucks coffee, wish there were other coffee options available without having to drive over to Newks for that 1st cup of the day.
Although we only were able to stay one night, it was a very comfortable stay for our first night on our honeymoon. It was only 2 minutes down the road from the venue and we had lots of privacy rather than staying at a hotel 20 minutes away. We love the hill country and it looked like a really fun getaway resort we want to go back to with the family.
The bed was a little too firm but a lot of people prefer that so if that's my only complaint then we're good!
A/c went out bathtub wouldn't drain beds wernt made up
I liked the facilities
On Saturday we had the BBQ buffet. We thought it was a little pricey but the flyer made the buffete sound good so we decided to try it. We paid for 5 people and were very dissapointed. The food was cold, we were the only guests there and look like the food had been sitting there a while. We barely eat and left 10 mnts after we came in. Let the person at the front desk know and she just said sorry but did not offered to go check on the food . It was very disappointing since we were happy with the facilities but the food was terrible and pricey.
Lots of cool things to do with kids, while stills maintaining a relaxing atmosphere. Our children (2,6) LOVED it. Trails and fields to explore, a lovely pool (with a shallow wading area), movies and popcorn, tennis, a free mini putting green, etc. Rooms are comfortable, clean, well stocked, and pleasant; rather on the uncreative side, but perfectly comfortable, nonetheless! Food was truly great. Amazing gym. Rather like being at a fancy summer camp. Everyone who works there is very friendly. A ten+ minute drive to schlitterbahn.
The 'restaurant' and 'bar' is more of a poolside outdoor bar/grill, where a) you might be served top sirloin with a plastic knife, and b) the bartenders are asked to hide the liquor bottles from the apparently vigilant & hardcore Christian families who attend camps here, and can't stand the thought of accidently seeing a bottle of anything alcoholic. This is all well and fine, but I grew up in a family that didn't drink for religious reasons, and it was still understood that other people were well within their god-given rights to purchase a glass of wine with their dinner. You practically had to whisper your request to the poor (and probably actually poor) bartender in order to get an adult beverage. The front desk only borders on helpful-you have to ask a lot of questions in order to find anything out.
Great place for the whole family. We enjoyed the putting green and outdoor movie one night. The next night we played basketball and ping pong in the large air conditioned gym. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly.
Air conditioner in our room stopped working so we cut our visit short one night.
Location and amenities were decent. Better breakfast buffet than most places.
Staff was smoking at back door (parking lot side) of building every morning we headed out to our car. Rooms are out - dated and not very clean for the price.
Great for the kids
Love all the activities. Plenty for family's to do without ever leaving.
Yhis is our third visit. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very family friendly place.
Location, comfort, price, peaceful, and wonderful food.
We liked the hiking trail, full breakfast, scenic hill country setting, the pool and vacation amenities. The Bath & Body Works toiletries are nice. The cabin was cozy, quiet, peaceful and we loved the rockers on the front porch. Loved the young deer on the resort just roaming about at nite. We were there during the week and there was no parking problem. Always felt safe walking around even late at nite within the resort. Sports options were great including putting green and bicycles. Lots for kids to do.
In the Cabin bedding was nice, but the bed was very uncomfortable. The shower curtain was obviously mildewed and needs to be replaced. The only seating bench was cute, but it was uncomfortable to sit and watch TV.
I love the place , the staff and was very clean and quiet
The buffet was very expensive and we expected more food for what we paid . The little food was cold and nobody in my group of 5 finished their plate. We let the lady at the front office know but she just apologized she did not offer to return our money back for what we had payed and did not eat their cold food. Woul not and has not been recommending this buffet to nobody.
T Bar M was the perfect getaway for our family just prior to school starting. There is so much to do, you never have to leave property. 2 pools, putt putt, full gym, tennis, pool, shuffleboard, air hockey, giant chess, nighttime movies, free ice cream, grill on-site, etc. Can't wait to take our extended family back next year! Room was very clean and had a mini-fridge, beds very comfortable. Awesome experience!
Nice environment. Close to attractions we wanted.
Faucet in bathroom tub was broken. Had a lot of millipedes.
Staff was very friendly. Called ahead and asked for extra pillows and towels, they were in my room when i got there. Small fridge and tv with cable in the room. Nice pool and hot tub! Even showed a kids movie outside sat night on projector screen, free ice cream cones at night. Parking is close to your car. Deer walking around the park at all times was nice to see, best time for the deer was early in the morning. We will stay at this location next time we visit.
No microwave in the room. Very dark complex to drive through at night. Fine to drive in during the day. We arrived at 11:50 pm due to travel delays.
Good breakfast. Bees not. Movie night great. Bikes Gym. Pool. Golf. Hot tub. Loved the view and the deer were great. Overall good. Staff great except...
Need plumbing update. Was nasty in bathroom Sink backed up and toilet would not flush and maintenance handed me a plunger so I could do it. I was on vacation but I fixed it so I didn't have to see and smell it. Thanks for that experience.
the beauty of the campus, the pool area, outdoor bar, rocking chairs, bicycles, breakfast buffet ,night time glow in the dark golf, ice cream popcorn and movie, and especially the privacy of our sunday house.
our first room was a downstairs room underneath a cheerleading camp and sounded like an aerobics studio! Staff Gaciously moved us to the sunday house!
Front desk personnel very personal and friendly.
A Christian Camp, by history, with obnoxious party people in the pool.
Tons of activities for kids
Bathrooms could use updating.
