Wi-Fi was very good and I had no problem to work with my PC. The large bed was very confortable.
My room was in the middle of the building and no windows. Early in the morning, the sound from other room/place was very loud.
The location was great. Room was very nice with a view of Magazine St. The staff were very helpful in recommending places for us to dine and visit. Everyone was very friendly.
No coffee pot in the room. The restaurant adjoining the hotel was always busy so we did not dine there as we would have liked. Our room was not cleaned the 2nd day of our visit. The T.V. was mounted to high on the wall for good viewing.
I liked the location of the hotel. Walking distance to Harrah Casino to Bourbon Street.
Parking and the cost to park valet a night was ridiculous.
Clean and very nice overall. Staff was very pleasant to deal with and even moved a mini fridge into our room for my medication. Location couldn't be better for access to the French Quarter with a short walk.
No breakfast but we knew that when booking. Johnny's Po Boys is a couple blocks down and has a great breakfast.
The location was easy to get to other quaters Cyle at reception was always very helpful.
Stayed three days and never once was my room cleaned or bed made up.
No heating, no refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee maker, the room is small
Great location, great character, and right next to The Ruby Slipper, which has the best breakfast in NOLA.
Nicks in the plaster, loose bathroom fixtures, just a bit worn. Could use a bit of fixing up.
No maid service after first night. Not sufficient heating during cold spell (room temperature not above 68F).
Great staff, great location! The desk staff was awesome! They helped me out with countless things. My wife and I were in town for Halloween and we had a fantastic time. It was close to everything you could need to have a great NOLA experience
The rooms are a little smaller than I expected but it was not really an issue. I would gladly trade a little space for a great location.
Location; close to Canal St, trams & river front
Really poor value for money. We were given a very small room (not enough space to have both suitcases open at the same time) On top of that the room didn't have a window, claustrophobic! More like a solitary confinement cell than a hotel room.
DIdnt like who they taked on 45 dollars of taxes for each day when I checked out after I found blood on sheets should been free
Convenient location. Hotel has lots of beautiful antiques and paintings. Great restaurant next door.
Location very good and so were the rooms.cant give a good review though after being treated like I was in the wrong with calling to alert them I will either turn up very late or the following day
Furious that when I called to say my flight I had been cancelled and was on a standby list that they only decided to hear the cancelled bit and cancel the first night at the hotel and still charge me, even though I managed to turn up at 11.30 pm on the standby plane, they also told me I had no funds on my card. Called my bank, everything was ok ...turned out they were entering the details wrongly.
understaffed! When's daughter and I arrived there were 2 parties ahead of us, with only Troy at the desk. He was doing as well as he could under the circumstances, but the hotel will surely lose business if there is only one staff member at the desk doing everything. Troy was very friendly as well as helpful. ;)
I like everything about this hotel. The staff and the location was perfect! So recommend this hotel! I was within walking distance to everything! Love it!
My first visit to New Orleans was a memorable one thanks to The Pelham's lovely front desk coordinator, Troy. Troy helped me book a fabulous swamp tour, pointed me in the direction of the best meals I've ever had in my life and gave invaluable safety advice for navigating New Orleans at night as a solo female traveler. I will undoubtedly come back and looking forward to being a repeat customer at The Pelham.
Next time I will ask for a room with a window. Even though my room did not have one I didn't mind it too much because I was only there for two nights and I was out of the room most of the time exploring the city.
Located next to french quarter, good price. Very clean room, and comfy bed. Front desk staff was great!
Parking in NOLA is expensive!
the hotel was great clean, comfortable and friendly. The staff were always happy to help with tours and where to eat. Was a 10 minute walk to the French quater so a great location.
Troy checked us in and was so friendly and helpful. Great place to stay! We will definitely stay here again. Location can not be beat, Rooms were excellent, so clean and roomy!
Confined tight space, no windows, unsafe, fire hazard, would not be considered occupiable in any other state.
No fridge ,poor tv ,no coffee in room.
Enjoyed the rustic hotel at a good price.
