This New Orleans hotel is moments from exciting Bourbon Street and offers a tranquil atmosphere, friendly service and thoughtful amenities.
Score from 415 reviews Very good
Location was good the service from staff was good. Parking was easy with the reception taking care of that access to hwy 10 was straight down Common st.
The lighting in the room was very poor a small fridge would be an asset.
We had a really nice Check in Made by Troy. The rooms are big and the beds were comfortable. The Location is Perfect. Less than 10 min from Bourbon Street!
The Rooms Need some Renovation.
Location, location - walk to the Quarter & business district great value for location, very clean, very comfortable beds, bedding & great staff. Feels like New Orleans, not some "chain hotel" Great breakfast resturant connected: The Ruby Slipper
scented something? cleaning products? was sneezing in the room from some smell, this is not the 1st room I've been "allergic" to, we travel & about half properties now use some kind of artificial scented product in the rooms. A bit small for but this is normal in cities.
everything. would come again
Love the rooms not small or large but just right and comfortable.
Located within minutes to Bourbon Street, this is a cute historic building hotel. Me and my buddy came for a fun week and this hotel exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back!!
We loved the whole experience but it would be nice if rooms have a mini fridge or microwave. That's it!
location, free wifi super clean friendly and very helfpul staff
I found hairs in the restroom.
We were extremely impressed with everything about this old hotel. It was absolutely lovely.
Cool older hotel with nice renovations. We were surprised when we entered our room that there were no windows, it was actually kinda cool, we called it the "Vampire Room".
Toilet ran all weekend
Awesome front desk staff, walking distance to everything! Thanks for making our New Orleans stay so easy, convienient and so comfortable!
Location Wifi Some reception staff Large room Breakfast restaurant (Ruby Slipper)
Other reception staff (lazy and offish) Place is starting to feel tired
Cheap, nice staff, location is ok, great city
I could never imagine a hotel room without any windows. Creepy!
the location was nice, and the room was clean
it was hot in the room
Comfort, friendliness and helpfulness of staff, proximity to tourist attractions
No breakfast as part of the deal, no free parking, no free airport shuttle service, touristy tours are expensive and not worth the money - as an internationaI tourist I felt we weren't made sufficiently aware of this
Location Rooms with high ceilings More character than standard chain hotel One very nice receptionist Maybe I was lucky but got free street parking right in front of hotel Ruby slipper (restaurant adjacent to hotel) has great breakfast
Air conditioning in hallways way too cold Loud music in reception and hallways Bathroom had "character" or maybe needed better cleaning?
Location and old style hotel with charm and character
No coffee maker or fridge in room and parking prices
This hotel was in a good location walking distance to just about everything you won't need to rent a car. The restaurant next door call ruby slipper was excellent for breakfast but you have to get there early cause there was a long wait. The stuff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I visit Nola again.
Only thing I did not like is that there is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. And they didn't change the sheets for the whole stay you have to request it to be changed
Great value for a lovely historic hotel that's just outside the quarter and a block from the casino. The staff was one of the friendliest I have ever encountered in my travels. Ruby Slipper is in the same building, but even if you miss their hours, there's a sushi bar half a block away and an italian restaurant that delivers. GREAT!
Our room did not have a small refrigerator, which would have been nice in a city of food. I don't know if all rooms are like this.
Staff were all excellent! Ambiance and decor Location was great
Mattresses were creaky and uncomfortable but we were so tired each night so slept well regardless. No mini fridge Poor TV reception/picture
I have stayed at the Pelham before and we really enjoy the well maintained older Hotels.
Location near the French Quarter is perfect to visit! Service by the manager - Thomas - has been VERY nice and friendly, thanks to him ! We spent 3 weeks at the hotel, he put a fridge in our room, give us very useful advices and was always very open and obliging for every question, printing some emails, etc. Room for 3 was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.
On weekend nights, people are very noisy in the hotel: at 3 and 4 pm speaking loud and even shouting! Maybe the hotel has to manage this.
