The staff were great very helpful with questions concerning tourist attractions
The only down fall was the very cold showers we had to take ,sink water got hot shower water did not.
Reception and elevator are poor qaulity People on recaption not so friendly.
The staffand location
Little pricy and wanted to control my own room temperature!
Just the location
1. We asked for a room on an upper floor and they gave us the one next to the front desk 2. The front desk guy at check in was very unpleasant andhe had kind of a prolonged attitude, we didn't understamd why. He insisted (a lot!) we took a city view trip with a bus - suppose he had some kind of side income from that. 3. Room wasn't so tidy and supersmall and bed was very uncomfortable.
A place to sleep.
A little small.
emergency exits were blocked and full of trash. Lighting in the room was horrific.
When we arrived we called management because one of the nightstand lamps was broken. Only after much discussion it was changed. The room was very small and when we asked for a bigger one they offered one without windows. We found dirty underwear in the closet and dirty socks on the floor. The water was always lukewarm. Finally, we had to wait about 30 min every time we needed our car, which for $33 a day seems excessive.
Delayed by weather was charged any way
Good location btw. French Q and convention center; staff was helpful booking very early cab on departure day.
Bathroom could have done with more thorough cleaning. Room did not live up to web pictures. No fitness center & room was too full of beds to exercise in there.
It was very historic and liked the old fashioned atmosphere
too pricy for the room. very very small room . staff not very friendly. tv didnt work no room to do make up in bathroom. no window . felt claustophobic in the space
Quaint, nice staff
No coffee, no computer, small lobby, no exercise room
The staff! They knew me by name and greeted me whenever I entered or left the hotel. They were extremely wonderful - and I make no exaggeration there.
I didn't like the bed. The beds are very high and I had to climb into bed every time I moved around the room. That's ok for some but I have arthritis, which made it difficult.
Very comfortable room, excellent location, best value, and very friendly and helpful staffs.
Just few things are expected to make the hotel service perfect. For example, there was no slippers, one-time toothbrush and toothpaste. If these are provided, it would be perfect hotel for best value and services.
Location convenient to French Quarter. Seemed like a relativly safe area. Parking was close to hotel.
Was placed in the room just behind the front desk. No excessive noise and wasn't woken up, but I usually like a room away from foot traffic.
Location excellent - just in between the French Quarter and the Warehouse District. very helpful front desk. And quite possibly the tallest bed I've ever seen.
The staff were helpful, some quite sweet actually. The location is perfect. Comfortable bed.
Damaged toilet seat, low water pressure and water that barely got warm. Other people's hair, nail clippings, dander and snack food remnants. People smoking in the hotel. Funky air freshener. Carpet in room hadn't been cleaned in forever.
The front desk clerk was very helpful. Helped me plan a running route then find an excellent dinner spot.
The staff was pleasant and room was very nice especially the price.
Front desk staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. David made sure our cab was waiting for us; upon our departure! Great location for Mardi Gras.
The room was outdated. A new comforter would improve the stay. If we had wanted to watch TV, it was in a poor location. Found a dead bug on the bathroom floor.
Good room, excellent beds
Price was high - but then we were there during Mardi Gras.
Hotel was located at the end of parade route which made it nice to access during parades. Resturant was nice and meals where good.
All the 120VAC wall plugs need to be replaced. Cords would not stay plugged into receptacles. Water pressure in shower where a little low.
The room and bathroom was very clean and spacious. High ceilings & excellent Wi-Fi connection. I will definitely stay at Pelham for my next trip to New Orleans.
There were no windows in room 214.
Our room was wonderful!
Small room, TV broke, bathroom not clean...
