The staff were very friendly & helpful in suggesting places to see as well as eat.
No place to make hot water for tea in the room is my only negative comment.
The hotel was chic and beautiful, almost vintage like. Troy the front desk clerk amazing as well we drove up from NY and got there a little early and he checked us in before check in time and was great with giving us tips on where to eat and places to see..amazing time at the pelham
The A/C could've be colder, but that's petty over all everything was perfect
Great location. Friendly staff.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Bed was great. Would recommend to anyone anytime.
Wished they had a fridge in the room or vending on each floor.
Thomas was excellent and very helpful.
The staff was very friendly and helpful!!
Location Internet worked well
Check-in process was slow Room was too small for 2 queen beds. We couldn't even open the closet doors all of the way. TV reception was poor-cathode ray TV No space in the bathroom for toiletries. Only place to sit was on the beds Painter's tape still on the walls in the bathroom
We stayed at the Pelham Hotel for 9 days and it felt like a home away from home. The staff was extremely friendly and Thomas at the front desk (and all the front desk staff) always greeted us and had time to chat. The maids were great and very friendly. Dawnette even came by our room to say good bye and wish us a good trip home. I would definitely stay here again!
Not a thing!
Loved the beautiful rooms, high ceilings, nice furniture (our room had 2 queen size 4 poster beds that were so tall they came with a stepladder to climb into!) beds were very comfortable. Decor was tasteful neutrals, and everything was tidy. Staff were great, rooms were made everyday, and door staff (esp Thomas) were friendly and helpful. Location is perfect - just off canal & a 5 min walk to Decateur st. Also next to the Ruby Slipper cafe! Bonus!
Dark - No interior central light (due to age?? Tall ceilings?) but interior room was gloomy. There were three lamps in the room, but all had very dim lights.
location and price
tv location was even with the head of the bed, and only about half of the channels had "cable-quality" reception.
comfort of beds close to french quarter
-no windows in room -parking lot is public and we were concerned about leaving our belongings in the car, but thank God nothing happened. We have the cars loaded moving from FL to San Diego. -parking is $18 at the public spot or $29 valet. -beds are tall, like 5 feet
I loved the historic building. The renovation was sensitive to the period. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was close to conference hotel at significantly less cost. And it was within walking distance of the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. All in all a great experience.
Interior room had no window. But on the other hand it was really quiet. Could hear neighbor TV and plumbing but not too intrusive.
Good location, near to the best bf place in no
No parking place no windows in some rooms, very noisy hc machine in my room
Very helpful/friendly staff Next to best breakfast place in the city Great location
Thomas was super nice, all his suggestions on where to eat and what to do were spot on. The hotel it's self was a beautiful old building.
We had an internal room and having no windows isn't for everyone, but that was my choice.
The people in the reception was wonderful! Always helpful with all kind of stuff. The location is perfect to be close to the night life.
Really great Thomas was super helpful too.
Very kind personell, clean place, quiet place to stay, very close to the center of the best area in N.Orleans, to the river, to casino and to the convention center.
Great location. Very friendly staff. Clean facility
Noise. Can hear the music that they play in the hallways while in your room. Can hear people talking.
Really well situated for all tourist activities in New Orleans. Desk staff were lovely and always helpful.
Beds were not made up for us each day.
Location was perfect.
Mattress a little lumpy!
The location was just a few minutes walk to the heart of the french quarter. So we could have fun and sleep in peace away from all the noise. The staff were friendly and food at the Ruby Slipper was a must have!!
I didnt like that our room did not have a window, however, it is a hotel made from an old home so its to be expected that some rooms wont have one. We were just unlucky in that area.
Our room was in a terrible spot! We heard dryers all night long and everyone from coming in at all hours if the night.
near to places where I visited. convenient location. Clean
bed is hard
The location and style of the room was great. Also the staff was friendly and helpful!!
Beds were too small and while pretty the four poster beds were kind of high for a shorty like me!
