room a bit small and could not relax and watch tv as it is at the side of room not infront of bed
Troy, who checked us in, was personally interested in the quality of our time in New Orleans, and it made all the difference in the world.
The bed was just a little firm for my tastes, but still the experience was good overall.
Location , old boutique style hotel , clean .
I had a cheaper room without a window - which was OK and price reflected it if you compared with other prices of hotels in areas , bit noisy due to lift and air con - turned that off and it was OK
Music playing inside and outside!some of the staff were informed as to reasonable places to eat.shower was very powerfull
..Internet very slow....no free breakfast and coffee was put away after mid-morning.....pillow top mattress was too hot for me.
Troy was eccellent helping us out with a everything we needed to knowand set up a tour bus,a must, and recommended where to eat. Thanks again!
The parking is horrible, and $30 for valet. We only paid $85 for hotel. I wish that would have been cheaper and would have been a prefect trip!
The hotel was lovely and in a good location. The front desk staff were more than accommodating.
I need coffee in my room. I didn't like having to get up of a morning and get semi dressed in order to have morning coffee.
Try to book a nother night, price went up 70% because it's saterday so no go
Big comfy bed
No window in room
Location right by canal street
No window and no coffee machine bed to close to the wall.
Black mold in the bathroom sink. Something left in the toilet.
Great location between the French quarters and the business district. The street is quiet if you consider the location, not much noise is heard from the street. Friendly staff.
No breakfast. Had minor problems with the wifi in the evenings. No microwave / coffeemaker / water boiler in the room, so couldn't heat baby food.
Excellent location. Quiet, easy to find corner site, two minutes from Canal Street and St Charles streetcar lines. Five minutes walk to large choice of bars and restaurants of The French Quarter. Also convenient for walking to Casino, River and shopping complex.
Coffee making facilities in the room would be good. Probably because we stayed two weeks.
I was a bit surprised there wasn't a fridge or microwave in the room especially given the amount of space in the room. These two appliances are a must have.gavel
Excellent value for the location. All the comforts of a modern hotel, but with an authentic NOLA vibe. Staff was accommodating, friendly, and professional.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful. Decor is cool and old.
Wish they had room service!
Great location. Very convenient for walking around the quarter.
Rooms are pretty small in size. Ends up being not such a great deal once taxes and parking are added in.
no room service
The room was small, but good use of space made it comfortable. Fortunately we did not spend much time in the room. Good location. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were able to access one of the two rooms as soon as we checked in which was well before check-in time.
We had reserved two rooms, but did not get them on the same floor even though the front desk receptionist told us she would put us on the same floor. The rooms need some updating and maintenance, for example our bathroom door knob was missing parts so no way to lock or keep door completely closed. Furniture is showing much wear and tear, the chair seat at the desk was stained and lacking in center support. The price of the room seemed a bit much for what we got. They only have valet parking which is an extra fee/day.
We moved in room 105 and it wasn't noisey but I didn't understand why they don't have a microwave they young lady was telling us all kinds of lie why they didn't have one and the manager told me to take it up with the owner about the microwave
They didn't have a microwave too warm up food and in room 104 you can hear the elevator going up and down all night
Full time concierges were nice. Comfortable room. Good location -- easy to walk to places and get to the streetcar. Comfortable bed. Plenty of towels. Quiet room. Old-fashioned room -- tall ceilings, crown molding.
Funky smell - mold in the hotel? Dust in corners, baseboard. Coffee machine downstairs left unattended -- no cups, coffee, until the day we left. No supports/railings for getting into/out of shower. You have to hug the slippery wall and pray you don't fall on the slipper marble floor. I'm an amputee and was really afraid of falling down. booking.com said all fees and taxes were included in my price -- but I was charged taxes and fees beyond what booking.com had indicated.
Location was perfect for the convention center and the French Quarter, right in between. Great clean rooms, beautiful décor, comfy beds, helpful staff. This place has it all. Will return.
Really nothing bad to say. We had an interior room with no windows which was a bit odd, no daylight to wake you up, but we knew that going in.
Small hotel, clean rooms and very comfortable. The location was perfect for virtually anything downtown. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ruby Slipper (next door) was fabulous!
Friendly, helpful staff. Vaulted ceiling room had plenty of charm and character.
The room was excellent except that it was smoked in. Not as bad as some hotels I've stayed at, but smoked in none the less. There was a portable room ionizer on when we first entered our room. Signs where up everywhere indicating no smoking, might not have been hotels fault.... The ionizer did a good job cleaning up smell.
