Position of hotel
Everyone was very friendly & very clean rooms
Too much money because of the mardi gras
No free wifi
Beautiful view, excellent food, and amazing service! :)
So before I headed out there I called in advance to make sure what my total cost was gonna be so they told me my amount, I get there and my room was not ready I had to wait a few hours and told me they were gonna call me when it was ready but they failed so they lowered my price because of it. At checkout they added an extra 220 for taxes and fees which they failed to mention.
I like the location because it was pretty close to the French quater
we couldn't check in til 5 pm but that was because of mardi gras craziness
staff very pleasant and accommodating, especially with parking and helping me plan my mardi gras schedule
There wasn't a coffee maker in room or complimentary coffee in lobby. Also, room wasn't available at check-in.
The room was very spacious.
The toilet smelled like urine and had the bathroom stinky.
The bed was the best it was so comfortable . I love the room altogether
Your staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and facilities are clean. Your location is an eash walk to the French Quarter.
Don't stay during Mardi Gras, this hotel can't handle the influx of guests. We booked a room to change in before and crash in after Orpheuscapade, however even at 4:30 (check in at 3) our room wasn't ready and there were 20 guests ahead of us waiting for their rooms. We had to change in the 2nd floor bathrooms; so essentially, I paid $300 to put on a ball gown in a public hotel bathroom. We will not be staying here again.
Comfy bed, spacious room, good water pressure. Staff was nice but clearly overworked during the busy Mardi Gras weekend, which is probably why they didn't have our room ready when we got there. Overall, the cons outweighed the pros. If you're a local looking to book a room for a night after a Mardi Gras ball, skip this one.
The condition of my bed and the sofa bed
Limited menu in restaurant. Hot tea served without a tea bag. 5 minute wait for that to be fixed. Not impressed
Outstanding Valet (Jarrod) and Bell staff. I look forward to staying again.
Booking.com put us in wrong hotel. When we arrived the lady checking us in was very rude. Housekeeping just left us each day one bath towel. We had to get more each day.
Great location. Off the main traffic and close to the French Quarters and Super Domr
breakfast and café gym room
Wifi should be free - it isn't.....
Convenience to convention center during national Baptist convention.
I reserved a king suite n my room that I got was two queen beds n no sitting area like I was told. I don't like surprises like that.
The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly
No real amenities. I've stayed in nicer holiday inn express type hotels, no make removing wipes in room or any of those things to make your stay nicer. No real hospitality, just a charge for everything, I think they were taking advantage of the fact that it is in new Orleans, not worth it. I had a discounted price that I found online and it was still not worth it. Comforter and carpet both looked unclean. 15.00 WiFi charge, really?? Isn't this business hotel, that should be customary, again taking advantage. No coffee pot, what hotel doesn't have a coffee pot. And 38.00 parking fee, wow. Worth it not to park on a new Orleans street still seems steep. Overall very underwhelming, would not stay again.
No coffee maker or fridge in the room. Ammenties were all very dated. expected more from a 4 star hotel.
Bartender was excellent!
I did not like it didn't have a refrigerator and microwave. Beds were too small. The value of the room didn't meet my standards. I usually stay in suites for 167.00 a night or higher. Not a double with no enmities .
I love the location Room was very clean and smelled very good. All hotels should have linen smell as good. Valet was wonderful and the Hotel restaurant employees especially the cook was excellent.
It was our first time here and we did not releize how hard it is to find a parking spot and a place within walking distance for breakfast
Very friendly staff and very helpful
Bathroom had hair in tub and floor (ewww). Hand prints on the mirror in the room and bathroom Carpet was not vacuumed. Attitude wasn't pleasant at the check in desk. Upon checking out, it took them 20 minutes to bring the cart to load. I could have gotten it myself. Pillows could have been fluffed. What not worth the money I spent for all this. We ended up at the Ritz Carlton for the remainder of our stay and it was a awesome experience for less amount. Tranquility is what I was looking for at New Orleans Downtown Marriott at the Convention Center and did not receive it.
It was a place to stay for the time we were there. Good location...we can walk anywhere.
