Short walk to Bourbon St, however off the wild party area.
We had a bachelor party above us and they were very noisy.
pool, rooms, breakfast
wifi a bit weak in places
This hotel, with not only one but two pools, was an excellent value and find for the city of New Orleans
Authentic rooms in the Louisiana style with magic atmosphere. You can feel like it's your home when goîg from your bed to the swimming pool for a swim or reading. Great people.
It was close to the main street but far enough away that you didn't hear anything. It had a great view of the city skyline.
Loved everything about it and loved the safety that We had at the New Orleans Courtyard Hotel, Friendly Staff, loved the room that I had, just 2 or 3 roads down from Bourbon Street and had a fun time, I'll be coming back to this one....
Lovely, helpful staff, beautiful room and pool, totally value for money and a good location set back a bit from the main part of town but totally safe and walkable. Free coffee and water available 24hrs. I loved this hotel and would recommend to anyone.
The wifi was a bit dodgy at times and the breakfast could have had a few options that didn't involve bread - more fresh fruit, yoghurt etc. My shower wasn't hot but to be fair I didn't bother to tell them this so didn't give them the chance to come and sort it out, which I'm sure they would have done.
Loved everything ! This was our 2nd time staying here. N plan on staying here again. price n location could not beat it.
The location was great. Walking distance to Quarter, cab ride to Garden District. Was perfect for our trip. It is an old home made into a hotel with great results. We will stay there again!
The lady at the front desk was great. Signed us up for a ghost tour and called a cab while my husband was getting our luggage so we could go on the tour departing in 15 minutes. The room was great....loved the brick walls and floor. Nice and cool in the NO heat. Loved it and wish we could have stayed longer!
Loved the friendly staff and cute set up of the place.
The beds were not comfy. :(
We loved everything about our stay. They put little refrigerator in the room for insulin storage. Excellent office staff, nice breakfast, location and very friendly atmosphere.
nice pool, friendly staff, good location
noise of the pool at night, a bit expensive for the value
Nice pool area. Staff very nice.
Stairs, I am just to out of shape for so many stairs.
Nice location convenient to French Quarter but away from drunken tourists. Nice courtyard and pool area. Friendly staff and good room service. Parking is available for $25 a day...which is on a par with local parking lots nearby.
Limited inside parking. Floors of upper two story rooms are wooden and it can be quite noisy if your room is on ground floor. Continental breakfast is limited but adequate if you don't mind eating the same thing everyday.
Very fast Wireless, nice an clean pool in the courtyard, typically New Orleans style. The location is very good and very close to the French Quarter.
Breakfast is poor. The rooms are really small so we had problems to store our luggage. Also the bathroom has very less space for the sanitary products. The fittings are old and the shower is not working well.
Room was on first floor. Next to pool
A little too much walking to get to the satchfest
Quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The room didn't have an iron or coffee maker, but you can get an iron from the receptionist and they serve coffee in the lobby. The a/c was loud. You can hear water running on toilet all the time. No elevator. Not as close to the French Quarters or Boubon St. as I would have liked.
Every thing. Staff, food , location. Love it
No refrigerator or microwave in room
Value for money was excellent. Location great. Bathroom was good everything worked fine, good shower. Bedrooms were decent size and very clean.
Wifi was a little weak during evening but went out anyways at night
The office staff were excellent. The rooms and other facilities were very good.
Housekeeping was below par. Previous guests had used the ice bucket as a trash can and it had not been emptied. Toiletries were not refilled after the first day.
Loved everything about my stay.
The pool, courtyard gated parking
Checkin reception was kind of dry
Comfy rooms, effective aircon, nice continental breakfast, friendly atmosphere. Coffee available all day.
Only one pillow
The lady who checked me in and out (Eugenie) was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was better than many hotels provide in the US i.e. there was some fresh fruit and sliced tomatoes. It was an easy 10 min walk into the French quarter and downtown (20 min). My room was perfectly adequate although small and somewhat dark. Whilst I preferred the residential location rather than being in the thick of things, the hotel is on a busy main road at the far east of the main areas and therefore there are less facilities very close by.
Only a couple of gripes - I could hear the people in the room next door and some of the pool users were too noisy, too late in the evening. The taxi from the airport to the hotel cost me $19 but the taxi ordered for me from the hotel to get me back to the airport cost $33 plus gratuity which was a nasty shock.
