The staff and the location were fabulous! The staff booked a tour for me and gave excellent recommendations for food! We were able to walk everywhere, which was super awesome.
My boyfriend had some issues finding channels on the cable, but as we were not in the room very much it wasn't a big deal.
Parking was safe and convenient. The staff was helpful and nice.
Good location Comfortable bed
Loud building, could hear neighbors who I didn't believe were that loud. Could us some additional electrical outlets Small desk for conducting business
Peaceful. No loud surroundings.
The shower & sink took a really long time to get hot water.
Nice room, very clean. Quick access to the French Quarter. Beautiful courtyard with tables and chairs.
Beds were rock hard. The parking charge was a surprise along with the extra $100 charge they held for 48 hours until they verified no damage to the room.
Location is fine at the edge of French Quarter. Nice old building, simple but good free breakfast
The hotel is very noisy at night with (partying, drunk) people making a lot of noise. I thought hotels were for sleeping. Ear plugs did not help. Called reception, which helped a bit. It is incredible that people think they can behave like this....... Being on business, this was the wrong choice, although nicely priced, good location and nice building.
Room was nice. Love the authentic old New Orleans feel.
Stairs were hard with luggage.
The staff was exceptionally helpful. Excellent breakfast was included. Easy walking distance to everything in the French Quarter.
The walls are very thin. Saturday night we were awakened by people in the courtyard right outside our room. We asked them to be quieter and eventually they were. Next door neighbors were also very loud. There appears to be no insulation in the walls to block the noise.
The pix on the internet are deceiving. Stay here if you don't intend to sleep
Noisy! Impossible to sleep. No heat. Horrible ventilation. Hardwood floors, so you can hear neighbors walking in heals, talking, everything.
Amazing staff, cutest hotel and great location for us. If you're not fussy about being right in the centre of the French Quarter, the location is perfect, only about 10/15 mins walk to Bourbon st and Canal st. We loved the hotel had character, if you're not into older buildings and decor this is probably not for you. The outdoor area looked really relaxing, we didnt get to enjoy it as the weather was too cold. The walls are quite thin so pack up a few ear plugs if noise is an issue! We weren't bothered by any loud/late noise but reading other reviews it seemed to be a recurrent complaint (we also had a room on the street no shared balcony and not facing the pool so could have helped too!)
The locations was very convenient. The staff was awesome!
There were minor issues with the fit and finish of the room. (ie. Rust in the bathroom, cracks and discoloration of tile flooring). The wifi was incredibly slow.
Shutters, polished brick floor and a high 4 poster bed. It’s just on the edge of the French Quarter but only a few blocks to Bourbon Street or Canal Street etc. If you’re looking on a map it’s practically next to Armstrong Park. The breakfast was particularly interesting with different local dishes such as gumbo added to the normal range. Sadly it was a way too cold to try out the pool but the internal courtyard must be lovely when it’s really hot.
Nice oldfashioned interior, tasty breakfast, location.
Parking was charged- 25$
Pool, courtyard, some staff.
Bed was terrible for sex. So noisy - thought we were going to break it or get noise complaints.
Staff, cleaniness, spacious, and convenient.
The guest upstairs were extremely noise and you could hear everything through the ceiling.
Thank you so much for making us feel welcomed during our 7 day stay! Your hotel is in the best place to everything! I am so happy I researched for over a month to find you guys and see how close to downtown you were! Thank you thank you thank you! We do want to come back again!
I would only have a problem with the stairs because my leg hurt so much prior to the trip and we stayed on the second floor, but no complaints really. Just a suggestion, shower later or earlier to catch hot water!
The hotel was the perfect distance from Bourbon Street. It was walking distance to anywhere you wanted to go.
Great location and nice courtyard. The staff is great.
The only issue I had was that you can hear everything. The ceiling and above floor is so thin that you can hear every movement and conversation. They need more padding between walls and floors.
The people was a coma dating and friendly.
The room was small and only one T.V you can here everything from the next rooms and the up stairs and if the people upstairs was to waste something it was coming right into my room.
Comfort and cleanliness.
Pool not heated. No Hot Tube. Breakfast was a little boring and carb filled.
It is located in a great quiet area near the French quarter. The staff is wonderful. Courtyard is beautiful!
The queen room we had was really small. We didn't spend much time in the room but if it had been me and one of my friends instead of my husband it would have been even tighter.
Walking distance to Burbon street, and everything french quarters has to offer. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did not have problems with noise. Room was small but ok. If I come back, I will stay here again.
Greatly located just outside the French Quarter - very nice hotel. We would book it again!
Staff was extremely hospitable. Room is on the smaller side, but that made it cozy and intimate. Located on the edge of the french quarter made it easy to walk to everything.
Would have been nice to have a safe in the room, and somewhere to hang towels on in the bathroom.
Loved the "old-world charm" of the building and courtyard, carefully preserved even as the functionality of bathrooms and such is completely up to date.
The connected guest house tolerates loud parties that echo in the shared courtyard.
