Valet parking. Constant tipping.
Friendly people! Helpful!
No complimentary waters in the room and the blow dryer was horrible!
Everything was perfect at hotel. The staff, location, the room and view and the weather just an awesome weekend.
Everything was fine no complaints
Liked location and friendliness of staff.
Housekeeping mistakenly threw away some items I had intended to keep and had placed on the desk.
The location was perfect. The staff was so very very nice.
The bed sagged towards the middle not very comfortable.
Spent two days in New Orleans. Visited bourbon street which was an eye opener. Travelled on the hop on hop off bus.could not find a bar playing blues & jazz music. Daisy dukes good for breakfast just round the corner from the Marriott
Location was excellent and gym was good
Outdoor area was like a wind vacuum as between two towers. Had to pay for wireless which nowadays is ridiculous.
The location & friendliness of the staff
I thought we should've had a microwave & ice box in the room for all the money we paid. Breakfast would've been nice
Despite the fact that this is a very big hotel - 42 floors - the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel is ideally placed for visiting the French Quarter and the Back Space Bar, just round the corner from the hotel was a real find.
The charges for valet parking (at $38.00 plus tax) were quite steep.
The beds were so comfortable. And i love the elevator arrangements.
I liked the location.
The hotel's amenities were excellent
They charged $12 more a day than Booking.com quoted.
Everything about the hotel was great....location was the best close enough to everything but not to close to be disruptive
Valet was expensive I'm used to paying valet but 38 dollars 42.60 with tax is crazy, and no breakfast unless it's you include it in your room rate or purchase it there
Ernesto the waiter was great we will visit the breakfast buffet even if we don't stay at the Hotel gave is information on the City we didn't even ask kept us up on all the events going on he's awesome.
We mentioned it was a leak in the restroom which made the air not run properly both my husband and I was very hot for a night so we went and informed the front desk they came and patched the leak in which it still leaked the tile was very wet. I thought maybe they would move us to another room but they didn't so I will never go to the Marriott well that one. Nothing like a hot leaky room.
Good stay. Very good room maintenance/cleaning, good location, good hotel. But it does feel the years go by. It's not the up to date design/finish and there are noises on and off. Beds are very very comfortable, sheets & towels very clean. Room is clean, bathroom small but clean. Restaurant in the lobby is good, has a nice weekend breakfast buffet. Free internet in the lobby. Great , polite staff. Quick and very professional check in. Cool elevator call system.
Not enough amenities. Pool is plain and boring, there is also a gym. But that's all. No TV service in the rooms, it's all paid TV / on demand. There is also a franchised Starbucks but service is poor and slow. A good hotel but it feels some years on it.
Proximity to Bourbon Street. Proximity to Jackson Square. Central location (Canal Street)
Overnight parking ($38/night)
Room view was not the one reserved. Price was different on site. No microwave in room.
Location to the French Quarters Cleanliness, Kindness of the staff
Noise from the outside and inside where people were coming in late kept us up until after 2AM.
Convenience to the French Quarter. Concierge gave excellent recommendations for places to eat in the area. Comfortable room with a comfy bed. Parking is valet and painless to do. Front desk staff are friendly and attempt to please.
Rooms seemed a little outdated.
Fantastic view, friendly service, perfectly located between the Superdome and the Quarter.
There was a good bit of noise at night. Sounded like machinery. Three floors from the top, three rooms away from the elevators.
I would prefer an indoor wet area, with hot tub and steam along with the work out area.
Valet wait time was ridiculous.
Loved the location. Perfect walking spot to everything.
Parking charges are a little pricey. AC in the room wasn't up to par. Other than that...good place to stay.
