Very comfortable, convenient, nice view, perfect area overall good stay
had to pay for parking after paying $600 for the room and also no free wifi you have to pay by the hour
The location is great
The location of the hotel is great for access to Bourbon, good eating and shopping. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. Excellent staff, they are very accommodating and pleasant!
I went during Mardi Gras time when there are a lot of parades, however the roads are blocked to the hotel not allowing residents to enter or leave for about a 12 hour time frame. This would be fine if the hotel had informed residents that there would not be any way to enter or leave during certain times for several days. I drove around for a countless amount of hours trying to find access to my hotel parking only to end up paying for additional parking outside of the hotel. $40 parking at a hotel in which the price was already increased for the event feels like a rip off. I paid the same $40 at a outside parking venue and had to speak with the valet to ensure I was not charged for the additional day of which I was not able to access the parking facility of the hotel.
Every member of the staff I encountered - from the woman at the check in/out counter to my waiter at breakfast to the cleaning people were friendly, accommodating and efficient. The service I received was excellent. The room was spotless and the bed super comfortable. Coming back there after a busy, loud day of sightseeing was perfect and just what I wanted.
This isn't so much what I didn't like as a comment about the trade-offs of staying in a large chain hotel: there's not much unique about it. The rooms are very comfortable but predictably furnished. Ditto the public areas. And the hotel is positioned on a busy street with four lanes of traffic when you walk out the door. Depending on what you're looking for, that can be a bonus or a drawback. (It's also a very short walk to whatever attraction you want to visit in the city.) Overall, if you don't mind those aspects, this is an excellent place to stay.
We ran into some cloudy days of light drizzle and cooler than expected weather. The location of the hotel allowed us to go in and out to combat that. Sheraton was ideally located and all interactions with personnel were positive.
It was great being so close to the french quarter, felt safe to wander around. Close to transport. Safe at hotel were very professional.
Just the ubication
The breakfast on the club level was nice. The gentleman severing was outstanding
Location easy access
Very well located close to the french quarter. Our river view was fantastic. The room is rather small but really nice. The restaurant has great food.
Price of the valet parking, definitely the most expensive in the area No free wifi The green program - if you're candidate, you won't have anything done in your room, not even water refills or trash removal, and you must prepare yourself to call the room service many times!
We had a suite for the Ohio State v. Alabama game. The room exceeded expectations and the hotels proximity to The French Quarter and the casino was perfect.
Due to expected large crowds, they had stupid traffic patterns arranged in the lobby. Even though at 1:00 am, the crowd was minimal, they forced you to walk halfway around the lobby to go to an elevator that was 3 steps away.
A non guest tried to enter the elevator and it was only after my partner pulled me out of the elevator did the security guard seem interested. She was talking to him when we walked up.
$45 for parking? That was nearly 25% the cost of the room itself.
Loved the room and amenities provided. The location and view was awesome. The Bellman and Valet were so the best we've ever had anywhere we've traveled. It was a wonderful stay and we'll be back to the Sheraton soon.
Requested by note on 2 days for more DeCafe Coffee and set ups and never received any. Once we told the desk it was delivered within 30 minutes. Parking in N.O. is a premium and it was expensive but worth it.
I didn't like anything about this hotel and probably will never stay at Sheraton again.
My room smelled like wet dogs. The elevators never worked. I paid entirely too much money for my stay and did not receive good customer service. There was no where for me to park and the front desk clerk didn't seem to care.
Nice beds. Bar area. Location Have been there before. Like Hotel .
Location was amazing. Lobby was spacious and the decor was nice. Floor to ceiling window in room was a nice touch.
Our room door knob was very hard to open and all the doors needed to be slammed in order to shut which was VERY loud. No fitness center.
Found some hair in da tub
Everything was excellent.
No refrigerator in room. Complimentary breakfast should be offered.
The entrance and the lobby and nicely situatedbthat you can see whats happening at the sports bar and sit for a while just thnking what tobdo first
Location was convenient to convention center, mall, and Bourbon St. The hotel was clean and well kept and the bar area is nice.
I did not like that I could not receive a receipt from the customer service at the hotel. I had to call reservations who then stated they have to contact the hotel to send me the receipt. I still have not received a receipt.
Basically New Orleans. Hotel was very very good but we were lucky with the weather which collapsed just after we left.
Downside of the location was to be woken either once or twice a night with police sirens going up Canal street
Neat circular bar in the hotel lobby
Nice staff: desk, luggage storage, maids, and bartenders! Thumbs up! Bed was comfy, room had nice conveniences included like coffee, a good blow dryer, ac/heat, bottled water, good view from the 40th floor, and lots if plugins.
I love nice air freshner scents, but Whatever is being used in the lobby smelled like Axe body spray, and it was too strong and made me dislike passing thru the lobby. It was headache inducing. Its been a day since I checked out I still smell it! The walls were thin, and we could hear everything, such as every door that opened and closed in the hallway all night an early morning. Our sleep was intereupted a few times.
