Dirty torn sheets. No lobby, no ice machine. Noisy because of business next door.
Staff was available way way way late at night for my emergency stay and upgraded me to a King bed even though I paid for a queen. Not sure of that was because that was all they had available, but it was nice even though it was unnecessary.
Super industrial area. Felt a little sketchy. If you don't want your room to reak of smoke, make sure your specify non-smoking room. I didn't and got a smoking room and had a hard time falling asleep because of how strong the smell was. Facilities are old and dingy. But, honestly, for how last minute this stay was, I'm really thankful I was able to find a safe and affordable room here. Nothing against the management, just know what you're getting. Not much nicer than a hostile.
The office staff was pleasant and the price was cheap.
Only an overhead florescent bulb for lighting, bad area, horrible bed, tiny bathroom, appears to cater to doubtful crowd.
Location did not feel too safe. Difficult communication from the Chcago centre
We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and updated. There is a nice bathroom with a big tub. It was quiet as far as other guests and traffic were concerned. It was very inexpensive. There is free wi-fi but at night it was a little inconsistent. The Mexican restaurant next door is so good! Also, within a 1/2 mile there is White Castle, Walgreen's, K-mart, Starbucks, Panera, Pizza Hut, a liquor store and a cute amusement park. 5 blocks up is the stop for several buses. There are sidewalks and the neighborhood felt safe to walk in. Also, Blue Cab serves this motel. They have a app and were always on-time and friendly. This is a no frills place but worked for what we needed: a place to sleep. We stayed for 5 nights in September 2014.
The motel is in Bridgeview, so if you are wanting to travel into the city, it is very far and/or very expensive. For $23 a taxi will take you to Midway to the Orange line train. Then it's only $2.25 from there into the city. Otherwise, it was $45+ to go into Chicago. You can use the bus system for $2 per ride but it takes 94 minutes to get into the city. This has NO bearing on the motel itself, it's just a caution about traveling to and from Chicago.
To much in & out. Didn't get a good night sleep .
Great value for money, great staff, clean and gives you a mini fridge and microwave too in the room!
Very nice, comfortable, modern room.
Walls were a little thin..
Low price means always low... everything
I liked the flat screen TV.
The AC barely worked, the room smelled intensely of urine, the sheets were old, discolored, and warnout. The pillow had rotten stuffing, I can't really even call them pillows. The mattress was so wornout it felt like I was laying directly on the box spring.
Friendly attendant. She was very accommodating. Gave us a quiet room which had only light traffic noise.
Older accommodations but this was still fair because of less cost.
Decorative sheets to discourage someone from stealing them?
price location parking mini fridge clean bathroom clean sheets
cheap scratchy bath towels
mirrors on the ceiling
Person who greeted us was a bit rude. Too little towels in bathroom.
Recommended if you are interested in a good bed and shower but not much more. Room was quiet and clean.
Doors open directly to the outside (no inside hallway) so a few Mosquitos entered the room.
It was very clean and it is a good value for money.
Smelled awful like sewers and urine. Room was very old and stifling. It is so far from the city that maybe some other location would be advisable. Not much to to see or do in the Bridgeview itself.
Friendly staff and good price for the room.
Little old bed wasn't that comfy
allowed an after midnight check in price brand new bathroom facility a bible was in the dresser drawer
advised there was 3 of us and there was only one full bed.
There's no sheet. I got red dots after waking up. There might be bed bugs
The location was ideal for me!
Staff interrogated me upon check in. I was traveling alone and checked in alone. I was warned that if I was caught sneaking in guests at night, I would be charged extra. Felt like I had stumbled into a brothel!
So last priceline review I said I'd never stay again it was the one about the phish concert and the hard bed, anyway I requested a soft bed this time on the ground level and it was enjoyable this time, I really liked everything about it! Esp the Mexican place next door!
Nothing great job with upkeep on your hotel! Way to fix your issues relax inn! :)
I found out about New Relax Inn in July and I've since then stayed there on three separate occasssions! The location of the hotel is great simply because it's only 20 minutes outside of Chicago. The staff was also very welcoming. Overall, I enjoyed my stay & would most certainly room with them again!
