I'm a thrift store fan and Columbus has several good shops as well as the typical retail stores and restaurants in a town this size. It's easy to get around and traffic isn't bad. Just a nice town to visit on Hwy 81 in Nebraska!

Unfortunately we came during a worldwide pandemic so everything was closed or had restrictions so we didn't get to experience a lot of things the area has to offer but it is a great place to visit. A lot of food and lodging options. Friendly people.

Friendly locals, convenient shopping and restaurants. Columbus is very easy to get around in, and the prices are reasonable. It has everything anyone would need, the parks are outstanding! It is a nice size town with a small town atmosphere.

We had a baseball tournament so we didn’t get to attend the water park. I have heard great things about it. Columbus has lots of places to shop and eat. We also got to drive to nearby towns to visit where my parents grew up.
My son got his haircut while there and we stopped in to buy a deck of cards to play at hotel. The baseball fields were in great condition.
Columbus is a great community with lots of convenient places to spend time on a weekend away.

I come to Columbus frequently, to visit my elderly mother at Brookstone Acres. The Columbus Inn is the best for the price and quality. Believe I've pretty much stayed at many motels in Columbus.
The car show at Pawnee Park this weekend was interesting. Friendly people in this town.
Reason we chose this hotel was for the pool. Upon check in we find out that the pool is closed for deep maintenance. On a holiday weekend? Thanksgiving?? Why would you schedule maintenance? This actually was the second time this has happened. Last time it was in July. Yet another popular time for travelers to come and want to swim! Also only provided decaf coffee in the room. Really? Decaf?!?!! Time to get it together Ramada! If you want to be significant, act significant.
The staff from the hotel called me twice before we arrived. The first person called because the rooms that actually come through from booking.com could not be put together, so he changed the type of rooms so that we could have a connecting room. The second called to confirm the booking and to let us know that are request for connecting rooms was still possible. Very nice and friendly staff.
Stayed there 2 weeks, 2nd week was much more comfortable. First hotel room was kind of rough. Outlet didn't work by the sink. Patches of paint on walls, and bedding had cigarette holes in them. 2nd week's room was a king suite, and was much nicer. Even had a couch/pull out sleeper in it. Both rooms beds were comfortable and housekeeping kept rooms tidy and in clean towels.
I arrived fairly late and had a lot of things with me as I walked into the hotel. There was an employee at the door cleaning up. She offered to help me with my things and get them to my hotel room. She was very nice and friendly. I choose most of my stays based on service and she was exceptional. I wish I got her name.
There was no breakfast. One of our rooms got broken into while we were in it. The hotel management slid the broken window over and told us it would be fine. We had to call the police because they wouldn't. Definitely do not recommend! If I could give this hotel a 0 rating, I would
We stay here quite a bit. I have family in the area and my kids look forward to "the pirate ship hotel." As far as Ramadas go, this place is always very clean, offers a wonderful breakfast and feels very safe. The pool is great for kids.
