Value for Money Two Nights we had a nice room with a window with sun in the morning. Three nights later we got only a room with a shared bathroom. The room was realy awful. The ventilation-system was extremly loud. We could not sleep in there.

In the heart of Chinatown. 1. You can hear your next door neighbor clearly. 2. You can smell if your neighbor smoking even if you are in non smoking room. 3. No elevator, 2nd and 3rd floor will be a hassle with heavy luggage.

Only the proximity to the shopping malls, dining, transpo. Our assigned room was on the 2nd flr, we had to carry our luggages to our room by ourselves cause no staff is available to assist us. Room was too small, not soundproof you can hear your neighbor's talking, shouting etc esp in the middle of the nights when young people come in and continuously bang their doors, walk to the hallway making irritating noise.. The frontdesk staff doesnt even care, you're on your own.

Absolutely nothing The bed was disgusting. I am pretty sure there were bed bugs. The room was extremely small. The conditions are not worth the cheap price. Please find somewhere else and spend the extra money to spend on something that is decent. I currently have bites all over my arm and irritation from the bed. DO NOT STAY HERE. IT IS HORRIBLE!

The only saving grace for this Hostel (hotel is not what this is at all) is that it is in the middle of a bustling Chinatown, within easy walk of the Canal Street Subway. The room was very small and very basic. The walls are paper thin so that you hear everything that is going on in the rooms around you, making sleeping a nightmare. Good job we spent most of our time out of the hostel.

I liked the location (Chinatown, near Little Italy). Not far to subway stations to get around the city. The bed was comfortable (we had a double room). I'm not as fussy as my wife, so I would stay here again in that room, for that price. The lower floor was overrun with roaches, and some of the single rooms were dilapidated. Most guests were young hostel/backpacker types, and were loud and inconsiderate (smoking, talking, running and slamming doors..) No elevator, five steep flights of stairs, and the bathrooms (shared) were filthy. Not a place to bring the kids.

It good enough for what I paid for. Didn't have problem with shared bathroom with others. There was a guy maintain the bathroom clean so it wasn't really bad as I saw some reviews about this hotel. Thin wall, I could hear the next door guests talking really close like they were talking right next to me.

Great location in the middle of bustling Chinatown, with 3 subway stations within a 5 minute walk, and considerably cheaper than most Manhattan hotels. After all, in 'the City that Never Sleeps' you don't want to spend too much time in your hotel room! The walls were very thin, which was awkward when the couple in the next room were firstly 'getting intimate' and later arguing. Luck if the draw, I guess...
