for the location, as well as the basic necessities, you can't beat the price. Front desk staff was helpful. This is more like a hostel experience than a hotel, however.
some parts of the hotel smell horrible (maybe it is some of the less temporary tenants that smell awful, idk) The walls are thin, so bring earplugs if you aren't a light sleeper. Hand sanitizer is also recommended. I wish they would clean the shared bathrooms more thoroughly and regularly.
It was an interesting place to stay, and well ventilated, and not bad value for Manhattan. I was also able to use their computer.
I was on the fourth floor and found the stairs frightening. Perhaps if I were younger they wouldn't have bothered me.
very inexpensive. room was small but comfortable and air-conditioned.
insufficient number of bathrooms; bathrooms very dirty; bathrooms had very high volume of use but appeared to be cleaned only once a week; one bathroom toilet overflowed on several occasions. Rooms are not sufficiently sound-proof. Loud talking, foot traffic in hallway, and snoring woke me up on several occasions, even with earplugs. No elevator.
The bed is small and d shared bath needs to be clean always
Location : In the center of Chinatown/Little Italy walking 2 minutes distance from metro, restaurants and street markets. Price is Ok
Room was dirty, with hair in the bed, and bed linens burnt with cigarette. No elevator, is a pain if your room is in the fifth floor.
The hotel was very, very, very dirty. Beatles on the bad! Only two bathroom shared with 42 rooms.
The nasty stains on both pillow and bed sheets.
The location is very convenient to China town.
No hot water until very late at night. The inn is dirty.
location and cheap hotel in manhattan,WIFI was excellent, near to subway station, shops and restaurants
No elevator and we stayed on the 5th floor, no place to put our luggages in the room, dirty and smelly bathroom, the room was like lavatory in the plane so small and tiny
Location suited my needs
There were several staff and they were not all bad. But one male in particular was very rude
cockroaches in the bathroom
Easy to go Brooklyn Bridge and Ground Zero
Room is too tight. Share restroom is so dirty.
The price was okay.
The bathrooms and corridors were very dirty.
Walls a paper thin, bathrooms are gross and I felt like my room had bed bugs.
The room was so small that my grand-daughter and I couldn't fit in the bed without out feet touching the wall (we are both about 5' 3"). We were on the 5th floor, and there was no elevator. The bathroom facilities were very basic, with only two showers on our floor to serve about 30 rooms. The name World Hotel is completely inappropriate for this place, as it really only caters for people who are back-packers.
Very well located.
Sheets and towels were dirty and had visible stains and hair all over. Horrible.
Location is good.Staff is helpfull and kind.
Nothing but the wi-fi
Location was good and wifi was awesome. Fan in the room was good too.
Rooms way too small for a couple. Bathroom was in terrible condition. No elevator (stayed in fifth floor). Smelled like tobacco smoke in the hallway.
I feel cheated and this is the worst place where I have slept, rubbish living room! Your offer is also spoiled!
Toiletries and toothpaste were actually provided. Room wasnt as small as I initially thought, fit in with luggage without a problem.
Shared bathroom was very dirty
