Location and Wi-Fi
Hygiene and noise (you can hear the people next to you snoring)
I loved being so close to all the main attractions I visited.
I did not like temperature inside the hotel overall.
I didn`t like the bed because it was very dirty no cleaning at all in the room, you have to pay extra charge for the cleaning service. The bed it was very dirty the blankets, towels and bed sheets have a stains to some other people. The cheapest room it was very small room that barely you can move only you stand and turn,it was very nice in the picture when you see in the internet but in the really it was very small. We change in the second room and we pay more extra it was very cold the room had no heater and we were totally freezing. In the 3rd room it was quite nice but the blankets, towels and bed sheets had stains in them of the other visitors.I felt disgusted.I didn`t enjoy our stay there. And no elevator if you have heavy luggage i do not recommend you to take this hotel. Wifi is very slow.
-the bathroom good on the level where is the reception.. -staff print me everything what I want -many restaurants (10$ chinese food) -location (subway 2minutes) -walking distance wall street, and others...
in the bathroom everything is fully of water -insects in the bed (however only my last day I met with it)
The bed is terrible with dirty sheets! I don't recommended this hotel.
price;location;staff is nice, they allowed me to charge my laptop on the front desk after i checked out;free wifi which is not slow at all if you just want to browse the internet
room is as small as a prison cell(there is only space for a bed in this room);you can actually hear the noise from other rooms;bugs are presented in the room as expected(we already prepared for it so we brought the sleeping bag);the room is so dirty;the power plug is very inconvinent to use; they use fan in the room;btw, if you book a double room, it is just a queen size bed
The location of the hostel is in the middle of Chinatown and close to the Green Street Station.
This hostel is not really modern. The individual room was so tiny and the sheets of the bed were not clean. The bathroom looked very bad !
A lot of cockroaches in the bath, a little in the room, room has obviously not been cleaned. Staff was friendly though.
I love the fact that the workersw were nice and that the location was great.
No elevator, one bathroom for more than one floor.
Absolutely nothing, it's a shame that this hotel is book able on the internet!
Where to start? After two days of staying in this extremely dirty hotel we had to leave because our body's were covered with insectbites. They were all over the hotel! We had to go to doctor to get medicins for ourselves. We left the hotel immediately without getting any refund ofcourse. People please if you want to visit New York, spent a little bit more money and go to another hotel! Don't make the same mistake as we did, it's not worth it. I have attached a picture of us just before we left.
they rapidly changed our room when we notified there were bugs in the one we were staying.
we found roaches in our bedroom. the common bathrooms were not pretty clean. the rooms are super tiny.
location was the only good thing
everything about this poor hotel,i wish I never stayed there, other people staying there were rude , playing music at 2am, being very loud when talking, bed bugs, shall I carry on
The free wi-fi so I can tell people not to come here. The shared bath was at least clean.
I was told I was gonna get two bed in the room and I only got a double bed. And was still charged for it. I will never use this service again. The bed took up 90% of the room, which has no widows. The temp on the inside the room was about 110 degrees. It would be better if I was by myself. But I couldn't deal with the heat. I slept in my car cause it was too hot.
Its a great location, Exactly what you would expect for the price. The staff did respond well to complaints about the noise level and were overall pretty helpful and nice people.
The walls were paper thin (what you would expect), No solid roof.. Sounds covered... Its a luck of the draw with who is staying when you stay there. Each night we had rude people who arrived very late and talked lately, or stayed on the telephone until the early hours of the morning despite being asked to quieten down by the hotel staff
Location good conventien for china town , little italy , close to metro
Tiny room , no lift , no windows , basically I knew this before I booked so no big deal however didnt expect to wake up covered in bed bug bites with blood stains all over the sheets.
Absolutly bad, horrible hotel ! Clean in the room and bathroom , very, very bad. I can´t recommand it !!!! Room is absolutely small and bad!!!
Cheap compared to other NYC hotels After checkout we could leave our backpacks and pick them up in the evening
Very dirty You can hear everything going on in the other rooms Out all day - we used it only for sleeping but it was practically useless for that due to noise from other rooms. Not because of the other guests but because of paperthin walls
Price & location
Dirty, dirty, dirty No replace for towels We were supposed to ask at the front desk for new towels
Location is not bad. Only 2 blocks from a subway entrance.
Only stay in one of the small rooms on the 5th floor if your only other option is sleeping in your car. A room with a double bed was approximately 65 sq. ft. There was barely enough room to turn around. It was very cold in the room at night. Even worse was the noise. You could hear the conversations in every other room on the floor through the heating ducts which produced noise but little heat.
The room was very cold, the temperature outside was thirty five degrees and was warmer than the room. They gave us torn and old washed out blankets to cover with. These matched the sheets on the bed. The furniture was old and torn also. This was the best and the upgraded room.
Room shown at web site and room provided were different I had miserable time
I like this hotel because its close to china town and little italy. Subways are just 1 block ahead. And there are parks near the hotel. If you are a person who likes to go out very often this hotel is good enough but if you are a type of person who likes to stay inside the room and watch movies its better to choose another hotel. In china town foods are very cheap and the servings are really big
Facilities were not that good. Even the mattress and the pilows still looks dirty when I came there.
I just needed a place to crash in NYC for the night and you can't beat the price for this location. Yes, the rooms are very small, but it's Manhattan! What do people expect. Ours had a double bed (very firm! Is that even a mattress?) and a private bathroom. I understand that other rooms had single beds and shared a bath, so you just have to clarify what you are getting. I also paid twice as much as my friend who had the smaller room.
