Large rooms low price and location
Wifi is only accessible if you stay in the lobby. Also a lot of the time there is no one at the front desk if need help. I had wait almost an hour to get back in my room because My ket card Stopped Working and nobody was there to help. Otherwise the negatives there has been one
Nothing at all
Filthy, poor room, filthy toilet, receptionist was stoned during the check-out. I have never seen such a terrible hotel even in Russia
Great staff! Very good WiFi
The front desc personnel - very nice, friendly, happy , polite & helpfull and also very professional ! The price which I paid for the accomotations with breakfast included was one of the best deals I have experience in my vacation traveling experience. This was the best deal I can get in NewYork.!! I highly recommend this place if you are on a budgeting traveling.
The toilet sits in the bathrooms need to be replaced with new once.
Infrastructure are good, bed is comfortable. Wifi only on first floor. Location not bad, little bit far from subway.
they charged me twice for the accommodation fee, and until now, I still didn't get my money back! They said if I sent them email with my credit card info, they would return money back. I sent them two emails and tried to call them in the past one month, nobody has replied! I m now asking booking for help. While I stayed there, a young girl's stuff was stolen by her roommate, so look after ur baggage.
terrible bed, two people in one room
location, it's quite close to center and breakfast was a good bonus
rats are running in the lobby, strange staff, hard to find anyone at reception especially if you're leaving yearly. I'm not going to stay there one more time and don't wanna suggest any one
Staff weren't professional
Chelsea highline hostel is a great hotel to stay in the heart of Chelsea. We stayed for New Years and it was the best price we could find. The people are accommodating and helpful! If you are looking for a cheap place to crash at this is perfect for your budget. We went to the Half King restaurant right down the road which had great dinner and drinks, a very short walk back to the hostel. The subway is a short cab ride or a bit of a walk to the hotel. Cvs is right across the street from the hotel. From our room, we had a great view of the skyline as well.
I suggest bringing your own full size sheets, some people wouldn't care but I'm not sure if the sheets and bed comforter was washed. Bring your own soap, shampoo, and toothpaste as they do not provide anything other than towels. Overall it was a great hotel to stay at for the price and we would definitely go back!
Customer service was really good
It's not a confortable and cleaner place ...
Location and the price.
The beds are horrible, the shower get cleaned once a day- it's very dirty. The wifi works only down stairs.
It was very conveniently located to the McKittrick Hotel where the show I saw was running. Exceedingly convenient, even.
Well, pretty much everything else. In my lifetime ranking of hostels I've stayed in, it's in the bottom tier.
Location: 3. Blocks to metro in midtown Manhattan, free breakfast (muffins, bread rolls with jam, coffee/tea, orange juice
Beds: you just get a thin blanket and the beds are a bid small, common room is very small, sometimes there is not enough space for everyone. Anyway: if you are looking for a cheap place to stay in central region, it's fine and I would go there again
Mice in the room and we were there a week, but didnt get the room cleaned at all. They only switched the garbagebag.
Perfect Location Good service, all the employees are very attentive and polite. The cleaning personal do an amazing job cleaning the shared bathrooms 3 times a day, it's unbelievable how neat these ladies leave them. This was a real relief for us because people are pigs, so sharing a bathroom was a real concern.
We had a little mouse in our room, but they change us to a different room right away. If you check-in at night there is a good chance you won't find anyone on the counter to welcome you and you'll have to wait 15 to 30 minutes. They take the trash out of your room everyday but they don't change bed sheets, not even once a week. The automatic locks in most of the rooms fail constantly, so you have to ask for new keys almost everyday. This is really annoying and they claim that it's because you store your keys next to electronic devices like cellphones, but at the end one of the employees told me that they have a software problem that needs to be fixed.
Nothing at all
A. Location is far from public transportation. B. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. C. No security for luggage. Doors are very hard to lock and often times you find they were left open... D. No internet in the rooms!!!
I paid 101 after tax for one night sobre bed for two. Location good. No clean, frozen room, humidity on the walls.... Disgusting. I will Not come back it recommend this place to nobody else

location is amazing
no towels and slippers
It was a bit cold in the room, but nothing major, really.
It was good place to see the city if you don't spend time in the hotel too much. Hotel for still fair deal for the price, nothing exceptional, nothing (directly) bad. Staff was polite, even didn't punish us for missing correct checkout time. Usual low-cost hotel (bug free, which is already good thing for New York budget hotels).
Wifi only in the lobby.
The staff was easy going and courteous. Location and value....fantastic ! Not much in terms of amenities, but so what? You are there to spend time in the city and/or tri-state are, not the hotel room.
I know there is a protective like nylon covering on the mattress itself to help with cleanliness, but mattress makes noise with the slightest turn and twitch. Also not having a flat solid frame, of which there are linked metal chains under the mattress makes for a discomfort type sagging. I asked the heat be turned up/on in my room. I was told it would heat up in 15 minutes...30 minutes later the room was wasn't any warmer. Maybe the staff forgot or there was faulty main heater in the utility room.
