It was a large clean apartment with full kitchen facilities. Two fast elevators so minimal waiting time. Really friendly helpfull staff. Wifi speed was excellent 3 adults able to connect at the same time. Excellent location (walking times) Macy's 10 Mins, Empire State 7 mins Time Square 15 mins. Closest metro Green line 5 mins, Red line 10 mins, Blue line 15 mins..The aparments are well maintained the day before we left some rugs and a mattress were changed. Note it is a serviced apartment and seemed to be more longer term guests than short stay tourists. But not a problem at all.
No phone in the apartment the AC unit was noisy but as we were there in October we didn't use it much. There was quite some street noise sirens, garbage collections but only triple glazing (which most hotels don't have ) would have helped. The sofa bed used by our adult daughter wasn't the comfiest (but the mattress were being changed out the day before we left) There were some reviews that stated people had been given alternative accommodation when they arrived however we called them to confirm our reservation before arrival. So not a problem for us.

heating / Air con didn't work - very very noisy - had to turn off - warm evenings the apparatus still emitted heat (even though off) so made for uncomfortable nights. Reported daily with front desk - nothing happened. Spoilt the trip as we were always tired.

Where to start! I booked a stay here 4 months in advance as my partner and I decided to elope in NYC. As per the confirmation my credit card was charged 1-7 days prior to the stay. We arrived at 10pm after a 24hr journey from Australia to be told that our booking had been moved. I was in shock and couldn't understand. Bridgestreet had booked another hotel (Affinia Dumont) under my name yet Bridgestreet still charged my card the amount that was agreed through booking.com for there accommodation. Although adequate the room we were in at Affinia was smaller, older and had less features. They couldn't tell me the value of our stay only that it was booked the same day that my credit card statement shows the charge from Bridgestreet. We called the customer service people the following morning and a lady named Allison was very apologetic as we explained we were in NYC for our wedding and were shocked and very put out by what had happened. She requested that we email her and she would sort out some compensation for us. So I emailed. Called 3 days in row and the only other communication we got was that she got the email and was going into a meeting. I sent another email explaining how disappointed we were that without our knowledge our booking had been changed, I have no idea if the hotel was an equivalent price and then to be ignored when trying to resolve the problem. In the meantime I received several survey requests direct from Bridgestreet which I held off completing because I wanted to give them a chance to make it right. 3 weeks later and nothing. I can appreciate that they got us another room at the last minute. but why was I not contacted? why did I not have a choice to find alternate accommodation? So thank you very much for making our wedding one of the most stressful days of our lives.... tried to avoid that by eloping...
We arrived mid afternoon to find we had been upgraded from a studio to 1 bed apartment on the 30th floor which was spacious, clean, very modern with truly amazing views. The concierge staff were great- especially Maurice who was very helpful. Only 5 minute walk to nearest underground- great shopping within walking distance too inc Macys, with Times Square a 15 minute walk away or 5 minutes by bus. Kitchen well equipped and bed was super comfy. All in all a great stay in NYC which I would strongly recommend!
Nice size apartment, nicely furnished, clean, 1.5 baths, view of neighborhood, location, convenience of a kitchen, all for the same price as a teensy hotel room!
Problem with reservation. We booked through booking.com, pre-paid, with a no-cancellation policy. The Friday before our trip,I discovered we had been moved to another property, which had no record of our reservation. This property move their overbooked customers without their permission, with no follow-through. I was fortunate to have our reservation come through due to a cancellation. But during our stay, we saw several customers sitting with forlorn faces in the lobby, for hours, waiting to find out where they would be staying. A terrible policy!

sound proofing on street side bedroom could be improved. we were on the 12th floor and the noise of sirens, trucks, traffic etc was omnipresent bedroom to the rear was much quieter
Convenient apartment with eccellent location near Grand central and Empire state building. Well equipped for self-catering. The apartment was newly refurbished with new equipment and a fresh bathroom.
Note! It's stated "view" in the description but this is not true. It's only provided if there is a vacancy higher up in the building no matter if you have requested it. It was a huge disappointment to be located at the 6th floor. The apartment smelled smoke but we got quick help to ventilate and sanitize the room.
1st trip to NYC and could not have more pleased. When searching for a place to stay was feeling a bit overwhelmed what with all the choices and not knowing what to expect. This place was absolutely perfect. Can't wait to return!!!
Only complaint was had a hard time working the door knob to get into the apartment. Otherwise not a thing was wrong.
We had a 2-bedroom apartment on 32nd floor; magnificent view to the Empire State Building from the living room, and to Chrysler Building from the sleeping room. Bose music-system! Helpful staff.

Location....close to many of the main attractions. Very nice, clean apt., small, but well laid out...exactly what we were looking for. Much better than a hotel.....
Bed wasn't very comfortable Very noisy at night......but it is New York!

The apartment was lovely and very comfortable.
Since we were only staying for a week I think it would have been helpful to have the following in the apartment: dishwashing soap in the kitchen (not just dishwasher soap), Kleenex, paper cups.

The bed was problematic,the suit is close to the air condition engines( noise from time to time) asked for Late check out- negative answer... I was promissed to get back 100$- nothing happened!!!

Could only get 1 channel on the TV. WiFi a little slow. Roadworks at night meant that it could be a little noisy.

Arrived at 34th and Madison tired after a long flight from uk to be told by a rude and uninformative receptionist that we did not have a room and that it had been extended for a client who had decided to stay longer and there was no other rooms left, so despite our booking having been made months before we were sent packing to a sister hotel 20mins walk away, no apology or offer of transport. Then to add insult to injury we had booked and payed for a studio and were given a hotel room with no mention of recon-pence for the change of price,needless to say it put a blight on our five days in New york
I made my booking in July for a 5 night stay in mid October. On arrival we were told we had been shifted to another hotel two blocks away. Whilst the new hotel was ok I would have liked to have stayed at this one as it looks alot newer and closer to the area we wanted to stay. If I knew this hotel was fully booked I would have booked elsewhere.
