Great location, the Lexicon lounge. Breakfast wasn't great - cappuccino barely tepid, hot chocolate tasted of nothing, food average.

Best value for money in New York; bit unorganised though, when I went to My room there was already someone in there, should not Happen Receptionists, unorganized...they said they were going to Call to say when room was ready but never called, couldn't Check in until 1500

I was in a rush to book a room for a week in New York. I am very particular and most every trip I take hours to research and look into hotels. This trip I did no such thing. I went on booking.com per my boss's urging. I knew the area I wanted to stay, the quality, and price point. I found what I wanted in less than 10 minutes. I thought to myself..., I will be the judge of all this, and will be dissapointed in the review. Well, the Hyatt 48 Lex was excellent. The staff is great, friendly, knowledgable! The rooms are beautiful, clean.., With great views. I was pleasantly surprised. I am going back to New York for work again and I will stay in this hotel. My only complaint - I hated the soap...., It smells like waffles and feels like maple syrup. Hey, it could be worse. Other than that, this hotel was excellent.

The proximity to office. Nice shower A bit noisy for such a luxury hotel at 4:00 am - due to some sort of shaft running through room. Also, someone ordered room service using my name/room number - then complained service was too slow - so no charges were levied for the food. Checkout Staff told me that since I didn't get charged - it shouldn't matter i.e everything is OK - but matters to me that they didn't verify who ordered the food in the first place- wasn't from me or my room. Probably won't go back for that reason

The staff was extremely friendly. Honestly, I was quite disappointed. They advertise this hotel as a five star on booking.com and it's a 3-4 stars at best. It has a motel feel to it and I did not think the rooms were as nice as they are on the website. The photos on the website are way way better than reality.

Das überaus freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal sowie die zentrale Lage sind unübertroffen. Die teilweise bis zu 5 Minuten sauende Wartezeit auf den Fahrstuhl.
