Location excellent, staff friendly and courteous, hotel room very clean Roadworks outside are quite noisy but this was easily overcome at night-time by the use of my in-flight earplugs!

Toiletries, large flat screen tv's, reasonable price if there were no roadworks. Very small double beds, if your partner moves in the night you'll know! Roadworks / street construction throughout the day and night meant we were unable to sleep until changed to an internal room. Air conditioning extremely noisy with gaps between window and unit and flimsy fittings meant it was like the window was open when it wasn't! We can imagine it would be freezing in winter.

The hotel and the room were impeccably clean. It is a completely non-smoking hotel, and this really does make a difference. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, I would say, above and beyond expectation. The beds were comfortable. The room was a decent size (especially for Manhattan). Location was fantastic -- right at the subway station, which (importantly for us) was accessible by an elevator. We were prepared to take taxis a lot because one of us can only walk about a block, and cannot walk upstairs, but thanks to the hotel's location, we were able to use transit a lot. Also, the hotel has an excellent cafe next to it, and a few restaurants and a grocery shop very close by. Overall, it was just wonderful, thank you! If I have to say something negative here, a coffee-maker in the room would have been useful.

Very nice hotel, centrally located in Tribecca. Very convenient with two subway stations right in front. The room was small, but with a very good bed, nice pillows and a decent bathroom. Also free wifi and a great cafe downstairs for breakfast. We had a great stay in May and would definitely reccommend it as a nice mid range hotel for a week in New York City! Sometimes a little noisy with all the traffic, but we were on the top floor, so it was not too bad.

Staff Location The room was far too small to fit 3 people with luggage. The noise from the waste removal trucks at night is very loud we could not sleep.

Was able to book this room through Kayak and get a reasonable price. When I checked in, I received an upgrade!! Very happy with this perk. I think the valet parking price is too high....

My room had one SERIOUS problem. It faces onto the street and they use window hung air conditioning units that are not sealed well. Every little sound from outside can be heard at all times of the day. While I was there, there were two major roadwork sites right outside as well as heavy trucks (the type that beep when they reverse) passing by regularly at about 1AM.

Liked position for shopping and restaurants and bars. Roadworks outside hotel was very loud and also rubbish pick up early hours of morning was very loud and continued for about 1 hour. Staff would not allow us to put an empty suitcase in storage room even though our room was extremely small.

I found he staff to be very helpful, even going beyond the 'usual' services to ensure that a guest's needs are met with a personal touch. The road noise outside of the hotel was sometimes challenging (btw, Barbara, Receptionist, initiated my room selection with this in mind and I was provided with a room away from hte street.

The staff were all so kind, patient, friendly, proactive. Booking.com was very good to deal with. Loved having a Starbucks downstairs & the 1,2,3 trains right out the door. An easy walk to City Hall, a vibrant neighborhood. We walked to Little Italy and Chinatown, too. Rooms very clean and tidy. Housekeeping excellent. Happy to have windows that opened and a ceiling fan. Met people from Italy, Spain, Germany on the elevator. Relatively quiet room off street with view of other building=totally worth being away from street sounds. Comfortable bed, clean linens, extra pillows & blankets delivered upon request. Small room, but my 'tween daughter and I managed. Hey, it's New York! No need to have a giant tv mounted in the middle of the wall.

rooms were very clean and modern, plus they were cleaned everyday by the staff. Great free wifi, free access to computers and printer in the hotel reception. Staff were helpful when booking trips/attractions in the city, and most of all it is really affordable hotel for NYC. Room didn't have a view however this kept us away from street noise which was great for sleep. Rooms were small but for us two it was perfect comfort, and i understand NYC rooms are pretty small anyway. I would stay here again absolutely. There was a noisy air-con machine outside the window on first night but this was rectified right away.

Hotel location is perfect to reach Manatthan just walking (couple of blocks away) or taking the metro (station round the corner). Next to the hotel there is a good and nice bar for breakfast and an easy resturant including pizza if you tired and don't want to go far away. Hotel is offering a nice Internet service and booking system for visits and ground trasportation. Too warm in the room for this cold season and only solution is to start the air conditioning.

The room was beautiful! I stayed in Room 705 and would live there if I could. :) And all of the staff I came across was extremely pleasant and welcoming. I especially have to mention the young man who let us keep our bags there on Sunday at 11 A.M. after we checked out so we could do a little sightseeing. He was so nice and accommodating. Give him a raise! The elevators, you had to wait a long time. I would have taken the stairs but seven flights would have been too much.
