- Mice were everywhere - breakfast was a complete joke - windows were nailed up - tiny sink
The pictures online and description of the hotel was nothing like what the hotel was it was very run down the room was small and bed very uncomfortable no hot water or face clothes would never stay there again
Fridge and microwave. Wi-fi
Very basic breakfast. Stupid key entry to room.takes about 5 attempts. Was told you have to whip it out quick!!!!!! No daylight in my room. Lot of building work going on. each day when I returned there was dust over the toilet and in the shower. You have to stand in the shower to use the handbasin, to which there was no plug
Location is good Breakfast is good which is free and included in the rent. hot water is included
no elevators stairs are scary for senior citizens no central heat
Very cold because cannot close window / Water leakage / No elevator
The "hotel" is worth $50 a night, not $200
No elevators, smelled, no wi-fi, dirty, and posters on front window said City of New York deemed the 3rd floor uninhabitable yet they were still putting people there. Place should be shut down!!
The location was great, close to Times Square, restaurants, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were reasonably clean.
The building is in horrible condition, crumbling walls, loose stair banisters, frayed carpets. The bed sagged in the middle and swayed when you turned over and the bathroom was so tiny the sink was unusable. TV only got 2 channels. No chance of sleep with sirens and car horns all night. Too scared to sleep here anyway. This hotel should be removed from the web site. Even at the price we will not go back.
Friendly people, will to help. Walking distance from Time Squares.
Very old building. Not comfortable mattress. No sound isolation.
Sheets and towels were clean. Bed and other furniture new enough. Door locked fine. Refrigerator and AC unit worked. Available on short notice.
Carpet, walls, and fixtures are ancient. Floor has many soft spots. Small bathroom, lots of stairs, not sure if there was hot water. I have stayed in cheaper and much nicer places in Manhattan (but they were not in midtown).
We were sent to the 4 th floor which appeared to be in the middle of renovation. The furniture was awful looking, the carpet was stapled together in places, no lamps, a lightbulb in the bathroom, plus no hot water in the shower. My husband did get warm water after letting it run for 20 minutes ! For paying over 200.00 a night I would expect more. I have never stayed in such a place! My friends at least had pictures on the wall after asking to be moved from the 1st room they were given! Deffinitely not worth the money!
the place was falling apart!
There is a sign on the door ordering the buildingto be vacated.it is in a construction area. They sshould not be able to let out rooms.
It was close to Times Square and reasonaby quiet.
Room was dirty and small, had no window to the outside. Found some bugs in the shower. For the las one and half days of our stay there was no hot water... Homeless people were sleeping, living in front of the entrance.
Location is good.
The size of bathroom is very small, the locks of the doors most are not working, it's a non-smoking but I can smell cigarette smoke, no elevator inconvenient when you have big and heavy luggage.
Location is great. Staff is helpful.
It is not a very clean place. Dead roach could be seen inside the light fixture in the bathroom. Single, lonely grape on the floor. Bed very wiggly. Bed and the sheets seemed clean, but i wasn't brave enough to get inside. Long flight of stairs, no lift. Fair for very low budget traveling. Keep out if you require more.
Nothing to be liked in this place. I would not name it Hotel.
I did not like everything in it. Starting from the receptionist that looks more like a crook, to the narrow stairway, as you have to curry your luggage to the 4th floor. No lift available, to the tiny room that has a space for only the bed. The carpet is dirty. Don't know what to say. But for the reputation of Booking.com, this should be erased from their list.
Very, very small room and bathroom
The building is old. The Hotel needs renovation.
Great location for my business trip. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and great people-watching opportunities.
Hotel was sub-standard for the cost. It reminded me of some places in the 3rd world - basic place to sleep and a bathroom which was a little scary. There was construction underway; hope that the room I slept in is scheduled for a makeover.
even the best dressed-up lobby does not make up for seedy rooms
only the location
Everything except the location. Room is very old and dirty.
Location is good
Breakfast was a disgrace. Room wasn't appealing. Cost as much as a good hotel to stay which I did after one night here
This rate should about positive work service, but staff and the new york inn electronic service are not formally adjust the new york city standard.
Didn't like the $220 dollars that take off of my bank account without before being in the lobby for present chek in. And The staff are not training for highly clients service. No matter price if the human quality service don't work properly.
Disgusting and not worth half the price! I escaped as soon as I could and moved to a much nicer hotel down the street that was actually cheaper! I'm not usually very fussy but this place is abysmal.
