It was very close to everything. The Whiskey Blue bar downstairs is really nice and it was quite a funky hotel. The porter and door staff were very rude. I found it quite over priced for the size of the rooms and it was so noisy we had to change rooms. |

The hotel is very beautiful, the design is as expected. They have the most compfortable beds I ever came across. I noticed the refinement in all visual aspects. The rooms were unexpectedly small. The typical american hotel room is much larger, these rooms were what I call Paris-sized rooms where you have the foot of the bed barely one foot from the wall and once the suitcase is opened, you cant really move around anymore. Bathroom was too small for 2 people to use at the same time. Gave us the feeling that one pays for the name rather then for the room. The worst part however was the fact that in the hotel's lobby lounge there were, every night, up to seven prostitutes just wandering around and doing tricks in the second floor bathroom. Not even in a discreet fashion. This made me feel like I was in a low level cheap hotel. I will never go back to a w hotel. |

The check in staff were efficient and the location was convenient. There were free newspapers The service at the breakfast restaurant was terrible--and the maid left dirty sheets in my room. |

The hotel was unfriendly. I made several attempts to make contact with staff at the hotel, all the time leaving messages and no one responded. I found the staff had a couldn't care less attitude. The room was microscopic. It was like paying $500 per night for a broom cupboard. The hotel was congested and uncomfortable and vastly overpriced. The condition of the hotel was "worn out" |

I liked the location and the color scheme of the hotel. Very sheek! I did not like the size of the room. I had booked a "spectacular king" and although the room was spectacular, the bed size was a full. It was very disappointing. |

Nothing, I will not stay here again. The W is not as I thought it would be. The hotel staff is rude and lazy. I feel like I wasted ALOT of money there and wish that I opted for the Holiday Inn Express instead! |

Well located II paid 17$ for an Internet connection that was unstable. The front desk didn't really care. On my first night, I got woken up at 5:30 am by a noise that continued for 30 min.. Supposedly, it was the engineer hitting the pipes to start the heating system. Do you really need to do that at 5:30 am? |

location, bargain price (still poor value for money though) tiny rooms, impossible to turn off the a/c, poor noise isolation, small and crowded elevators, parking garage view, dark rooms, small bathroom, inadequate amenities for the claimed hotel level (no slippers, no shoe brush/polish, no shower cap, no kettel, etc.) |

Central location, good ambiance The suites didn't have a bath, that was a bit shocking. In a normal room I can understand, but in a suite? |

Wonderful staff, honesty of cleaning staff. And I loved the lighting, both in the common areas and the room. No real restaurant. Earlier coffee service in lobby would be good. |

Very good location, and the Staff were superb. My room was slightly smaller than I'd expected, and because it was on the Lexington Avenue side it was a little noisy from the traffic. |

Paid for a small cozy room and was upgraded without asking upon arrival. Good location, nice modern interior, friendly staff and good room. |

The staff are not "stodgy" - they are friendly and helpful in a modern manner. The room service was a bit sketchy (got orders wrong and food sometimes was tepid / cold) but otherwise ok. |
