Location Vibe Toiletries (bliss spa goodies.. so good) Comfortable bed Although we were only on the 3rd floor the noise from lex was fine. Great breakfast options and late night bar
Very average room size for price (but normal for NY) Hotel could do with putting some more shelves in the bathroom.
Small Room$75 for parking a car.
Small cramped elevators
Clean and beautiful room; very helpful staff; easy to access from Grand Central
A bit far from where we wanted to meet friends (West Village) but I guess we knew that already; also, the housekeeping staff will knock early and keep coming back to try to come in unless you put up the "do not disturb" sign
The hotel is located in the heart of everything. Clean & friendly!
This is a great hotel with really nice staff ... great recommandations from the concierge . I will go back especially if they offer me a free night for my comment ;).
Everything was great and clean
The size of the room
Mario the friendly receptionist Best (Ice Cold) Boiled Egg ever Killer G&T's California breakfast as awesome Great location to walk from or us the trains
Having to leave
Comfortable beds, friendly service, good location
Very poor lighting in the corridors
The hotel room,s not sound proof/. The house cleaner inter my room day and night with out permition or reason
Convinient and safe neighborhood, only 1 block from subway station (51st), many good restaurants within walking distance, and of course duanereade if u need anything.
Dont touch the minibar, it's automated so u will get charged if u move anything. So ask for minirefrigerator if u need one.
I liked the central location of this hotel to all the major NYC attractions. The staff was so helpful & accomadating to us. It was our first time to New York & we felt very welcome.
I thought the room was pretty small, but maybe that's a NYC metropolitan thing.
Rooms are overpriced for the size
Cold water in the morning. Not at the level that a W uses his clients to.
The bed was extremely comfortable. The food amazing.
Good location. Good staff. really helpful. Good bar and good food - could not fault that area of it... rooms were very small....but it is central new york so potentially to be expected. Much preferred the two beds were room concept.
Rooms were weeny. Upgrade was much better. The Upgrade was 30$ a night - I wasn't told that I had to pay taxes on that so ended up paying 24$ more than expected.
The staff was extremely rude when I was checking in. The reception staff creates the first impression and the hotel needs to seriously work on their reception staff.
Location; Beds v comfy; Funky atmosphere; Free wifi
Took away bath robes after 2nd or 3rd night; No tea\coffee making facilities; Cards for lifts did not always work
Hotel location was very good
I did not like receiving a £25 charge on my debit card from the hotel once i got home. There was no reason for this charge. The room was not damaged and the minibar was not touched. Also was unable to find contact details for the hotel other than a phone number which would result in further charges for me.
nice service from happy staff, very helpful
room carpets very dirty and old, room a little smelt because of this
The location was the best thing about this hotel for sure. I liked the staff and the restaurant is fantastic for breakfast. The bar and music when you enter is great as well, I also liked the gym. All in all I was very happy and would definitely go back.
The size of the bathrooms is shockingly small and there was a lot of dust in the room behind the table and around the tv area which i was not impressed with. Also, the wifi should be free around the hotel instead of fifteen dollars per day which is seriously not fair, that should be for non staying guests perhaps but I know this is standard for most nyc Hotels.
Great location, modern facilities
My tv didn't work properly. Wasn't able to always pick up a signal. The only other thing was that the room was tiny. We could hardly fit two suitcases in there.
rooms are a bit small
- I liked the locating.
- Very expensive WIFI in rooms. Should be free. - No breakfast included. - I paid for Mega Room, and they gave me a small room.
Lauren the concierge was excellent. The water with orange and mint was delicious. The spa staff were lovely.
The room they first gave was disappointing. Utilitarian, uninviting and the toilet was crammed against the sink. They upgraded us to a suite which was much better!
