Littele bit small
I think this locations is great: just opposite of Macy´s, very near to 5th Avenue, Empire State Building, not so far from Times Square. Great TV in room, very convenient wifi for more devices (for free). Perfect luggage store service guy (Andrey?). Very helpful.
My fault was to book hotel room with breakfest included. Breakfest was not breakfest - just like shopping in Starbucks. Only regular coffee included. No eggs, ham, etc. etc. I would recommend to stay only without breakfest and enjoy food around hotel - much better choice. Room in 7th floor with windows on corner 35th street/Avenue of Americas: I was happy that I brought my ear plugs ... Next time I would try to stay in 17th floor.
As a traveler, it is easy to find nice hotels in small cities at a decent price. The same cannot be said about big cities. The room was well sized, our view was beautiful, and everything was very clean. No odors, or trash in sight. The bed was very clean as well.
There is nothing I didn't particularly like about the room. The mini fridge was empty, but I didn't mind.
Location! Room was big! Some staff were very friendly and some were so-so.
Entrance is small and lobby is on the 2nd floor.
Very clean room and comfortable bed. Great location
Location, location, location. Around the corner from the Empire State Building. Macy's across the road. Subway access on the same block. Easy walking distance to Time Square, Maddison Square Garden and Penn Stn.
Room is on the small side but comparable to other hotels at a similar rate. It is NYC after all.
Staff were mostly nice and helpful. Exceptional Location. Decent Value. Rooms were of a good enough size for 2 people comfortably.
Cafe downstairs ran out of oatmeal at 7am each day as well as other things. Mattress protectors were not big enough for the mattress.
Comfortable hotel, great location across from Macy's. Subway station has 6 lines so you go anywhere in the city. Bed was very comfortable.
Room was nice and clean. Hotel in great location.
Shower handle in bad location, you should not have to get blasted with cold water to turn it on. Television in terrible location, should have adjustable arm to change position of TV so viewing angle is better. Location above desk makes it incredibly hard to work and watch television at same time. Lack of printed channel listing in room is a real pain. Had to search for a long time to find desired channel. Doors are not soundproof enough, heard ice machine and everything going on in hall all night long. Thermostat activating is loud and woke me up constantly, panel makes a snapping sound when it comes on.
good location and nice staff
the hall carpet is old , and the elevator is not clean
close to stores and quite central generally. The bed was comfy and room was quite quiet except for the odd emergency vehicle /garbage truck.
Not even complementory water in rooms
Absolutely nothing because for me service comes first
They refused to serve water up to the room claiming that their hotel is a no room service hotel, which was clearly not suggested on booking.com. The lady at guests relations was extremely rude. Spoke to the manager of the hotel who was even more rude, proudly telling us to mention his name on this review. Matt o connor! I wonder if the manager has such a Care a Damn attitude then this is arguably the worst hotel in the world. Honest suggestion to everyone: Ignore this hotel
location free internet personnel from the cafeteria extremely friendly and helpful (specially a lady from Panama) Front desk gave attitude, as if they were doing me a favor Entrance personnel quite friendly and helpful
the cleanliness isnt a priority, the sheets werent changed, there was popcorn under the bed, which i didnt eat. not so comfy beds
The location was so central and within 10 seconds of the metro. Excellent breakfast every morning.
Our room was unavailable on arrival and we were sent to another marriot in Chelsea for one night. We were very disappointed as we only had limited time in New York and this wasted a morning.
The hotel was conveniently located for all the things we wanted to do & the price was great. The staff was very helpful.
We requested a king bed but only got a queen.
I love the location, love the hospitality. .
The hotels location is perfect, and we had a good view. The staff was extremely friendly, and helpful. The room was clean, and very comfortable.
Clean Comfortable Quiet despite its location
The pigeon artwork in the room! Apart from that, good hotel!
Location great, staff helpful and friendly and went the extra mile.
good location clean
NO CHRISTMAS TREE made it very sad on our Christmas holiday. very little choice of food and very expensive.
The bed was super comfy and the location excellent. Staff were pleasant. Views from room were amazing!
The room could of done with a Hoover.
The hotel is right next to an entrance to the subway, there is a 24 hour supermarket/pharmacy across the road, as well as Macys. It is fairly central on the subway so you can always swing by the hotel to refresh or drop shopping. The room is really clean and good facilities. Coin laundry very handy !!
The rooms are very small but you get use to it !!
