- All beds where not prepared upon checking in (within normal checkin times) so we had to do that ourselves. - Next day that happened again so had to call staff to do it. Would have thought they would do that on own initiative. - We booked a a junior suite for 5 persons and got 1 tiny bottle shampoo. - Bath top was block, so water did not run out. - The safe was out of battery, so we needed to have this fix. - Then in general think it is extremely poor for a hotel this standard that WIFI does not come as complementary. All in all I recommend you not to waste Your money in this hotel.
What is good of this hotel is where is located.
On an hotel like this is amazing that the only breakfast served is buffet type and very poor. No possible you cannot order at least any style eggs
Location location location. The hotel is just all you need, nice breakfast and a fitness located on the top floor - 35th, an excellent few! I loved the bed very comfy , the hotel is just excellent , will recommend
I didn't like the customer service . Not just in the hotel but in USA as a overal experience. The people on the reception were not friendly at all , not helpful at all. We had a unpleasend expiriense and the hotel manager just said : find the phone number and call yourself, instead of resolving the problem for us. So rude.
we could not have asked for a better place to stay from the moment you got out of the taxi till you left to go home . the staff were excellent especially mike john bert and the other door men .rafielle the man at the coffee bar house staff so friendly the rooms were spotless and clean I would definitely recommend this hotel 100% watch out Marriott I will be back loved every minute of it .
Brilliant location to the shops and staff were very helpful and friendly
the daily room service forgot to fill the coffee and tea twice which was disappointing when needing a drink in a morning
I brought my daughter to NYC for her 7th Birthday and picked the Marriott East because of the location. The rooms was excellent, but what really put it over the top was staff! I haven't had customer service this splendid my entire life. Everybody was so friendly and professional, especially Colette at the front desk. She sent my daughter milk and cookies with a Birthday card. Marriott has now gained a life long customer! Five stars!!!
Machine rejected my credit card a few times before we found out it was the machine and not my card
Friendly staff good location
elevators were small room was small but adequate
It was walking distance to everything we wanted to see ,close to Today show and had a great time outside from hotel . Our son enjoyed the excersise room
The place was not worth the money we spent to stay ,we have stayed at places that offer you a lot more for your money no microwave !!! That is crazy went spend Thanksgiving there because my mom past away a week before mother's day . And August 26 a day after my 51 birthday our house burnt down we lost everything so our son said let's go to New York so we don't think about all that we have lost. $55 for A Thanksgiving Dinner was crazy so we didn't have A Thanksgiving Dinner couldn't afford it !!!
Friendly staff, excellent midtown location close to subway, sights and numerous dining locations. Clean, good sized room. Would stay here again
The bed seemed lumpy and TV a bit difficult to figure out
This was a blockbuster weekend. We(the girls) loved all aspects of our accommodation and would opt to stay again.
TV Room quality and size There was no room service No dinner in the room I couldn't even get a fork to eat my lunch which I brought from outside
the hotel was perfect for are group needs
Loved the location of this hotel
Very small rooms and we were on 6th floor and it's very noisy from the traffic would be ok if were on a higher floor
Everyone helpful and friendly!
Location, room was small but nice also clean
Room service never left enough tea, coffee, or milk each day this after informing the front desk
The location is really good, 10 minutes from Times Square, beds are great
The staff is a bit unfriendly which is not something you expect from Marriott hotels. Really disappointed.
It was very central
The room was large but I think we should have asked for it to be changed as it was so dark. We looked out on to a blank wall. You couldn't tell if it was sunny outside or raining. Very disappointing.
refrigerator in the room, coffee pot great location
the noise from the street all night made it impossible to sleep sirens and horns non stop i am sure there must have been quieter rooms wish i had one
Midtown location is nice. Bedding is great.
Street noise is a problem. Sounds like windows are open.
The beds and the size of room The room facilities
The wifi not is available at room The concierge she was not professional in booking the city tour and answering my inquiry.
Overpriced. My room was very small and air-conditioning was loud enough to wake me up. The staff wasn't too friendly either. Not the comfort or service one would expect at this price, even in Manhattan.
Location is nice and 15 minutes walking to time square , room as good size and comfort yet bit old furniture ..
Charging for Internet and no room service !
- Two full size beds were too small. Took mattress off bed and slept one person slept on box spring - Wanted to charge me for cots - Warned me that I could only bring one child into Concierge Lounge (I'm a platinum member.)
room very dark as all windows faced brick walls and colour of room was mustard
