Everything- cant think of a bad word to say
The breakfast was a bonus as this enabled us to be up and out seeing the city without stopping and looking for a restaurant. Staff and location was fantastic.
I paid extra for a city view but was located on the 7th floor so my view was essentially not there.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The locations was central but very quiet.
Friendly Welcome Large room, very quiet good shower breakfast better than some.
only slight negative, felt more like an airport hotel, than one in the middle of Manhattan.
The beds were super, the breakfast was supreme and the staff superb. We were there for 4 days and could not have had a better stay anywhere. Best location you could imagine. Staff were the best I have ever encountered. Made it a trip of a lifetime.
NO bathtub and breakfast could have been extended to 10 am.
Amazing location! Staff were very friendly and helpfull, would defently stay again!!
location, bed and breakfest
Perfect localization Good WiFi Helpfull Staff
The breakfast is a complete mess and could be better. There is not enough space to seat the guests so people were always running to get a free table
Close to three subway lines, bus stops, walk to theater district.
Breakfast room was always busy, but staff handled the crowd well.
Beds a tad lumpy but love this hotel
Quiet locatioon, friendly staff and yummy breakfast
Plastic breakfast untensils and plates let this Hotel down.
Really nice newly renovated room, w/ a great TV too! Decent location and priced well for NYC.
Comfiest bed ever Location, easy to walk to main midtown attractions Very good shower and water pressure but would have liked a bath
Tiny wardrobe Small room Told we had been upgraded for more birthday but the room was what we paid for Fiasco at breakfast, poor food, plastic plates and not enough tables Staff not that friendly Traffic gridlocked so taxi travel impossible Toiletries never replenished, never had shower gel and had shampoo once Very poor lighting Heating didn't work and had to be fixed Very expensive for what you got - a budget hotel with trendy facade at midrange prices
It was perfect all round
Very comfortable bed, clean rooms, friendly staff, fantastic location for a first trip to NY. Choice based on location and the fact it offered breakfast, which meant we could make the most of our 5 days, set off early and not waste time looking for places to eat out in the mornings. Would definitely recommend.
Coffee way too weak to my taste, more like 'dirt water' but I guess this is how Americans have their coffee. Breakfast area can get very busy and people would not have where to sit.
The location of hotel is excellent, just in the right place to be close to everything and still have a good quite rest after long day. Bed was very comfortable and that is one of the major things for me and my wife.
Breakfast in hotel is very disappointing. I cannot remember when was the last time I have used plastic cutlery and the variety of choices is very poor.
The hotel was fantastic, the staff were very polite and helpful nothing was a problem for them. The breakfast was spot on and the location was within walking distance to all the main sights with great views of the empire state building. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Not a lot of tables for breakfast
Great location, immaculately maintained, super comfy beds, fab breakfast, docking stations/chargers in rooms
No kettle in rooms!!! No tea/ coffee facilities except for breakfast times. No food available. Front desk staff give out wrong directions.....TWICE!!!! Unhelpful via email before arrival.
Excellent room, large TV and bathroom. Bed extremely comfortable. Reception staff very friendly and always helpful. Bed and room always tidied efficiently priot to return
Dining area for breakfast too small.
Fab 30th anniversary/ 50th birthday trip. Hotel and staff were extremely friendly and the location was excellent with a fantastic view of the Empire State building. Was given a complimentary breakfast for the 8 days we stayed there and although the dining area was a bit on the small side the food was more than adequate. I would recommend the hotel and would certainly go back.
Nothing much to fault. Dining room on the small side.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Great Location, very handy for tourist sites
Lack of storage space for clothes
Trip did not start very well; the car we prebooked did not appear and we were unable to contact them. We got a large 4x4 at the front door and it cost $75 from JFK to midtown. It took about 45 minutes through heavy traffic to get to the hotel. It took about 1 hour coming back so allow plenty of time to travel to the airport. Taxi drivers don't seem to talk much in New York. Cabs are reasonably priced and if there are four of you it can be just as cheap as the subway. The subway can be quite confusing; signage and train information is poor. We were booked into our hotel rooms quickly and efficiently and got two city view Junior rooms on the 11th and 12th floors which had great views of the Empire State Building. Breakfast was served from 7am to 9.30am. Coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, sausage and scrambled eggs etc; more than adequate. Location of the hotel was excellent. Our return flight was in the evening and checkout was 12 noon but the hotel stored our bags and organised a car back to JFK. The car cost $75 including tips and toll charges. Would use the hotel again.
The heating was making a terrible noise so it was impossible to sleep and very annoying to work while turned on. When I asked the front desk for a technician to get it fixed and if not possible to move to another room I got the answer "this is how all our devices are and it can't get better"
