Everything, i love NY palace for me is the best hotel in NY
Liked it all.
Location, airy, generally clean
Fees for Internet services/WiFi should be included in the price of the room. Bathtub drainage problem
The best part of the stay was the location of the hotel, the cleanliness and beauty.
It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room.
The location, the room size and the overall ambience of the hotel.
The staff need to be warmer and more friendly not just efficient.
Location was great, staff are very friendly and helpful. The sort of hotel you would walk past and dream of walking into.
Only downside is the lack of on site dining (restaurant, room service etc), meaning that if you arrive late in the evening and are hungry after a long journey, you have to go out in search of food.
Plople are friendly and nice But no respect for promises I ha a super bad service in Laundry they promise refound but never happen Worst experience in NY I normally travell in NY minimum 5 times a year
Great location, comfortable beds, good pillows, good staff. They charged us for each internet access device $15 for three days, when us spend big $$ for a room the internet should be included. I will stay someplace else if I can get the internet service free and similar accommodations.
To pay that much for WIFI every day! Why don't you charge this in the roomprice??
Breakfast room service
Ubication. Excellent Rooms
The last time. We stayed in The Tower and the service was a little badly.
LOCATION AND VERY HELPFUL STAFF. WE HAD A PERFECT HOLIDAY
It was centrally located. Pomme Palais was very nice with excellent food choices at a reasonable price.
There was a dirty pair of men's underwear left on the closet floor when we checked in. It took 3 calls to the front desk before they sent someone to come get them. The room was not available for the 3 o'clock check in. There was no ice machine available, and we had to call room service to bring us ice each day ( incurring additional charges in tipping each time it was delivered). The rate was extremely high in comparison to hotels of superior quality. When we attempted to print our boarding passes the night before our departure we were unable to. The Bellman told us the next day that they did not have the updated software to print the boarding pass for this airline ( one that is commonly utilized, and listed on their desktop as an airline that they provide access to print boarding passes for). The Bellman told me that we could just check in at the airport. Really!! Less than an optimal experience overall.
Check in process was a abysmal. Had to wait 20 minutes only to be told that there was a housekeepers' union meeting and that there were no rooms available. I returned at 10:00pm and still had to wait 20 minutes to get a room. Seriously?
Great service, Great location, room was very spacious
I liked the location of the hotel, and the friendly and responsive nature of all the staff. The view from our room was very good, overlooking St. Patrick's cathedral. The hotel had three entrances which was very convenient for us.
The room was not made up during the day, which was really uncomfortable. When we came back at 11 pm we called house keeping several times, untill they told us that we had to wait for them to change shifts so they could come at 11:30 pm to make our beds and change towels. The room was not cleaned nor vacuumed. We had to wait in the lobby.
Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel is beautiful.
Staff were unfortunately rude and did not smile or make us feel welcome. They made us stand with our bags and did not offer to take them. A smile would have been nice.
Courtyard and lobby entrance was beautiful. Location was great and convenient.
View from our room was a brick wall. Vanity light was not working when we got there, had to call maintenance. Had to call for extra towel and had no extra roll of toilet paper. Dissapointed in bathroom counter space compared to pictures online and for the cost we paid.
Liked the bag storage and refreshing area on day of check out. Made a long day of travelling a lot better
Excess money for wifi and movies. On extraction in bathroom and safe broken.
The location is excellent, the staff are great, the rooms are very nice and the view of St Patricks was amazing.
Fairly expensive, no swimming pool.
I like location
I didn't like the shower, interior of the room, bedlinen
1. The friendliness that I experienced on my near midnight arrival after travelling up from Paraguay starting out at 4am. I was travelling all day with with little to eat while catching connection flights on the way back up to New York via Central America and Miami. 2. My request for a room looking towards my brothers Apt in Olympic Tower. (I was there when I arrived out but my brother rang me from Spain before I was due to leave his house in Paraguay telling me that he had a family staying there from Paraguay who were due to leave on a Sunday which was also my departure home from New York. 3. The cost of the room complete with the degree of comfort (i.e. high degree of finishes) was very good value. If I ever found myself in a situation again of there being someone in Olympic Tower I would book in for a night or two in the New York Palace. Many a time I have been looking out a 31st floor window wondering what your hotel was like.
1. On my late arrival I requested a mug of hot milk and a marmalade sandwich which would carry me till I got up later in the morning. It seemed to present a problem I was handed a phone to talk to a housekeeping women. While very nice I was surprised to hear that there was no milk. I then settled for a latte and was told it would be sent up to the room. About 30 mins later there was a knock on my door which I opened and I was dumb struck what I saw. A table was wheeled in draped in a white cloth, a big silver pot of coffee, 2 cups and 3 slices of bread wrapped in a white cloth. Lads this was very fancy when I saw the bill I signed for $43 I thought was too much for what I wanted. I expected a small tray and certainly at a lesser cost. That experience put me off using your restaurant for breakfast instead I went over the the Omni Berkshire for breakfast and for just under $20 dollars I got a mug of tea, 4 slices of toast and big bowl of porridge. And the bonus over there was I formed a great relationship with 3 people over there, yes I even got kissed and hugged by one person when I told them I was going back to the New York Palace to pack and book out and head for JFK for a flight home to Limerick.
