Score from 597 reviews Excellent
No basic amenities like coffee maker in the room. A bit of walking distance from Times Sq. UN GA made the access to hotel worse.
I spend some nights in this Amazing luxury hotel. I had a room with a huge window with view on the S. Patrick cathedral. The room was very clean and very spacious with a desk. Can't wait to be there again.
Close to everything!! No need for public transit!!
All the tourists!!
location and staff
We were in NYC for an engagement party and were only in town for one night, so we decided to treat ourselves to a bit of classic NY luxury. The staff, the facilities, everything was wonderful. I could not recommend this hotel more.
Nothing at all.
Hotel, staff and location were all excellent.
Room was ordinary. Feel a 3 star would have been fine. No view other than construction. Somewhat noisy. Bed was hard and both my wife and I slept poorly. Light controls are badly designed and difficult to use/ understand. (Central bedside controls very confusing)
Arrived very early and reception was so helpful--offered to call when a room was available. Beautiful environment at the perfect location.
Renovated, Spacious and clean rooms
Staff at the front Desk not very nice.
location, service, quality of room
check in was slow, room wasn't ready.
Simply 1- perfect in everything 2- Loved staying there and 3- I highly recommend it
Rooms are spacious Location is prime Service is good
When we checked late rooms were not ready, so they arranged for us to spend the need in a nearby hotel which was of lower standard and quality However, they paid for the hotel and apologized sincerely
1. The Concierge closed at 21:00 hrs which is not only very unusual but it also meant that we could not get things done when we wanted to. The concierge opened the next morning and not too early!!! 2.When we checked in, we were not given the requested room, as we were told that as the reservations was made through a "Third Party" the availability of the requested rooms was subject to availability and not on booking requirements !!. Eventually after much arguing we were given the requested room!!
Location Size of the room View ( St Patricks) Housekeeping staff
Recetpion Staff Concierge and Bell oy Staff : Not Luxury service. (too laid back, casual, not well spoken)
Nice Hotel in the city Centre. Our room was quite Big and had an amazing view the bed was very comfortable
- huge waiting line for the Check in Never had that before - the bathroom Needs a Renovation - no complimentary Wireless Access
The best 4 stars hotel I have been so far. The interior, personel, rooms, breakfast were outstanding. House keeping was invisible but always did their job well. The location is perfect just outside of the time square maddness but still close enough to walking there. I give 12 out of 10 for this hotel.
I hate leaving the hotel
No ice machines, have to wait 30 minutes for ice. No free wifi... 16$ per day for real poor quality access. For the price internet should be free.
Location, friendly and very helpful staff, comfort, spacious,
Would be nice to have sitting area in lobby for tea/coffee or drinks
Everything, i love NY palace for me is the best hotel in NY
Liked it all.
Great room , very clean and spacious and great view despite the scaffolding on St Patricks cathedral - ( to be completed in2015) . Absolutely no room complaints . Hop skip and jump from Top of the Rock. Hotel cleaning staff were great and the front entrance doormen were very pleasant helpful and welcoming .
The hotel check in experience was not good . Arrived between 2 and 230 . Stood there and even though there were 5 clerks behind the desk no one asked if they could help. When I finally just thrust myself upon one of them they said I'm busy - someone will call you over . When I finally got acknowledged to he served there was no greeting - one would expect a"hi welcome to the Palace is this your first stay with us" etc . Very cold and unwelcoming . Room was not ready as three was check in . Came back at 315 and still room not ready . When I complained to the clerk about my experience before even getting to a room - he became very helpful and apologetic and even went to check that the room was ready himself . But overall put a damper on our first stay at the palAce . If you can get past the surly check in experience everything and everyone else at this hotel wAs top draw !
Location, airy, generally clean
Fees for Internet services/WiFi should be included in the price of the room. Bathtub drainage problem
The best part of the stay was the location of the hotel, the cleanliness and beauty.
It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room.
The location, the room size and the overall ambience of the hotel.
The staff need to be warmer and more friendly not just efficient.
Location was great, staff are very friendly and helpful. The sort of hotel you would walk past and dream of walking into.
Only downside is the lack of on site dining (restaurant, room service etc), meaning that if you arrive late in the evening and are hungry after a long journey, you have to go out in search of food.
Plople are friendly and nice But no respect for promises I ha a super bad service in Laundry they promise refound but never happen Worst experience in NY I normally travell in NY minimum 5 times a year
