The front desk check in - definitely is in need of more help. Long lines and slow- Remember your frequent travelers and guest.
I have been staying at the NY Palace as a business traveler for a couple years now and I have been delightfully satisfied everytime. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well lighted. Great views of the Catherdral and the city. Limited noise factor and the housekeeping staff and bell staff are excellent.
No free wifi available
Spacious rooms, perfect location
housekeeping. Beware of using glasses and cups in the room!
in the heart of the best shopping districts of the city
I just hated the shower head it was slow and old pours out slow should update to better ones
The bed I couldn't get out was so awesome
Nothing. It was a very pleasurable stay.
Spacious and clean rooms. The technology in them is definitely up-to-date and on par/better than higher-priced hotels in the area. Big windows at the Tower; Madison Avenue.
The location is just perfect, the view on St. Patricks Cathedral stunning! The rooms are spacious, which is very special for New York. Good atmosphere in the whole Hotel. This is the place for me to stay in NY from now on. Just perfect!
WE arrived a 12pm our was not ready, we were told we would received a phone and by 3pm our room would be ready. we checked our bags and went shopping we arrived back at the hotel at 5pm to still find out our room was still not available.
The location was perfect for shopping and restaurants. A very clean room and good size for New York hotels.
The staff was very accommodating and took special attention to make my grandson feel special.
Consider adding another small cafe
Staff were extremely polite and helpful.
Shabby - a few holes in lampshade, window shade and hair dryer didn't work. They need to refresh.
It is large and open. Provide slippers and robes and rooms are very quite
No restaurant, not even for breakfast. Super expensive business center, needed a few pages printed they charge an arm and a leg per page. When considering the real costs totally ridiculous. The most annoying bit was at check out where they charged me more then what my booking.com confirmation AND their own confirmation e.mail has shown. Took 20 minutes to clear and a high level of insistence. Initially they wanted me to go back to booking.com and ask for a refund. Really? not cool from such a classy hotel.
The paid wifi is horrible.
Rooms are large and comfortable. Location is very central. We have stayed at The Palace before and will stay there again.
Service and superior location
No free Wifi
The view was amazing, the decor is inviting, and the rooms are very comfortable.
The cost of Internet was very high and thee was no business area to use a computer freely
The location and professionalism is very good. The beds are comfortable and the view we had was great over the church
The (payed) wi-fi. Virtually inexistent. To the point that they took it off the bill quickly once I mentioned it didn't work. They must have this as a recurring problem. We didn't mind as we used our phones. But if you need wi-fi, forget this hotel. They just don't have it.
The NYP is a great option in midtown. We stayed in a high floor (20) with a fantastic view of St. Patrick's back and the Rockefeller center. The room (2 double beds) was large, comfortable enough for us 4. Very clean, everything looked new, but very stylish. Service was good, considering is a huge hotel. We requested a couple of things and got them right away. Very different than my experience at the Waldorf 2 yrs ago: tiny room, more expensive, no service. The Waldorf is for suckers, I guess, that want to tell people they stayed there. The NYT was a much better experience.
Expensive bars, bakery etc. T-bags were not re-stocked daily - had to ring room service every day for a cuppa!
Beautiful hotel, great location, helpful staff, comfortable beds, tasty bakery, awesome view!
Tower King room Staff
Wifi connection cost 15$ per day, no breakfast included even if the room is pretty expensive
Clean, well located, good beds.
Friendly staff and great room. Location was perfect
Was charged as soon as I Checked in and told it was because of booking.com No wifi in lobby If you ask for something they forgot , like face tówels, you hace to call a few times
One fríendly employee,Emily
Staff attitude all positive from front desk to housekeeping...bed very comfortable spectacular views of the city with a corner room.
Dusty carpet , I don't think they have been vacuumed it! Why ..?! The hot water tab .. Only gave me only drops everyday !! High cost for laundry .. But thank them them gave me discount ! But still expensive . Instead of few bars they need to provide for us more coffee lounge , their is only one small and it's extremely crowded morning time . In general .. It's good :)
Location , friendly stuff
Like all hotels the mini bar was super expensive....if it was priced a little more reasonable I might have purchased a few drinks.
There was a quite a queue to check in but the staff provided bottles of water and macaroons whilst waiting. The bed was so comfortable and the Molton Brown toiletries were an added bonus in the bathroom.
The cost of breakfast in room 118$ with tax !!!!
The location of the hotel and the quality and standard
