Sofitel New York

Non ho trovato alcunché di negativo. Posizione ottima. Pulizia impeccabile. Camere sufficientemente spaziose. Servizio colazione superbo. Personale disponibile e professionale.

Volendo guardare il pelo nell'uovo, a livello personale, direi che la hall sa un pò di "vecchiotto"; ma é più che altro questione di gusto, e non mi sento perciò di muovere una reale critica.

Posizione dell'albergo. Pulizia delle camere. Qualità del servizio.

Avevo prenotato una camera con letto king size ma all'arrivo non era disponibile cosicchè la prima notte mi hanno dato una queen size. Il giorno successivo hanno provveduto a fornirmi una camera conforme alla prenotazione. Sebbene avessi pagato in anticipo mi hanno chiesto la carta di credito per gli extra. Sebbene gli extra fossero già stati pagati alla partenza mi sono ritrovato circa 700 euro bloccati (ossia impegnati ma non prelevati) sulla carta di credito.

Very good value for money especially given the location.

It was a beautiful room. Very spacious and the staff was very helpful. The location was great and right in the middle of all the action in midtown New York.

The elevator floors were dirty and could have been vacuumed. The shower head in the hotel room was broken, but we never complained about it, it wan't a big deal.There was a hand held shower that we used instead.

The location was fantastic and the hotel fabulous loved my stay at the Sofitel

No.but would like to state i had asked about transport from airport and was adviced to get taxi was riped off let peole know {make sure and get yellow cab}

I really enjoyed my stay at the Sofitel New york, it was very close to Times square and all the shopping facilities New York has to offer. The resturant in the Hotel (Gabys) was excellent!!

We found the hotel reception staff unfriendly. I had to report a problem with our room, this was resolved fairly quickly by giving us another room.

The ambience - enjoyed the French overtones. It is a very elegant and comfortable hotel - not ostentatious. They provided three (3) internet terminals in the lobby for free use by residents 24x7. This computers worked great and there was even a printer. They also provided Wall Street Journal, ny Times and Financial Times. The room was well appointed and quiet! We had one small problem with a light in the room - they responded immediately - turned out it was my problem (couldn't find a light switch on a lamp) - not theirs.

The prices in the restuarant were a bit too high - breakfast for a couple could easily run $50-60. Too much in these economic times. However, they did provide fresh coffee every morning in an alcove in a corner of the restaurant - a nice touch - fresh cream, milk, sugar cubes, etc.

Great location in mid town. Concierge was very helpful.

The rooms were immaculate and elegant, very surprised by size and quality of rooms had expected New York 4* to be small and a bit dated. Staff were efficient and friendly, hotel was brilliantly located

Not the standart I expected, room to small, air conditioning to noise.

Has all the services of a big hotel but intimacy of a small one. Rooms ending with 20 and 22 should have an excellent view of the Chrysler building. Concierge service was very good.
