I specially liked the location of the hotel as a first time visitor. The hotel lobby is beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect location for us as well as posh and clean.

Locating on 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, this hotel is much convenient for us to go to theaters on musicals around Times Square and Japanese restaurants. On the other hand, a room maid came to our room twice a day to make neat and clean.

The bathtub is a little bit shallow and water iwas easily overflowing. On the ohter hand, dewatering took much time.

We enjoyed almost everything about our stay. The staff was gracious, the Junior Suite most comfortable and spotless, and the location perfect.

Our only disappointments were the view from our suite( we will request a different one next time) and the dinner at Gaby which was mediocre.

Everything about the Sofitel was pure luxury, the beds were the most comfortable I have ever experienced. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

The only slight complaint would be no tea or coffe making facilities in room. The room we had was on 6th floor and was slightly dark, however this was our choice as my daughter has a phobia of lifts and we asked for a low floor room.

We received a free upgrade to a suite as it was our honeymoon. Hotel, staff and location were perfect.

There was an issue with our booking, in that the hotel did not receive have it, and the desk staff dealt with the issue immediately and to our satisfaction. The Hotel is located close to everything, yet is discreetly located in the middle of the street. The rooms are clean, nicely designed and well serviced. It offers gratis lower speed internet.

The concierge service is excellent and the location is better. I recommend also the restaurant.

The rooms were very comfrotable, especially the bed. The design of interiors is excellent.

They have overpriced their rooms by about $150, and the hotel is in need of a major renovation. To charge $650 for a standard room at the Sofitel is outrageous. Also, they are surrounded by restaurants better than they are, and far more value conscious for the business travel, and certainly for families. I have stayed there many times, and this was the last time.
