The suite was a little cramped but otherwise great stay
if you book a quad, do yourself a favor and book a cot as well... they give you a huge room that will fit .. otherwise.. just ask for a large room and hope for the best..
breakfast would have been nice if it was included in the rate. everyone is always hungry in the morning , there is a diner downstairs but it gets to be a bit pricey
Location Value for Money Tic Toc Diner Low Speed but FREE Wi-Fi
Small Bathroom (even for New York) The windows were poor so it was quite noisy, this did not bother us, but the cold winter winds blowing in through gaps made the room temperature hard and there is no heating in the bathroom so it was freezing.
Very near to everything almost in the heart of Manhattan
Rooms r veryyyyyyyy small, bathrooms r clean but need renovation
Great location. Easy walk to NY Penn Station, MSG, and Times Square. Good enough for solo business traveler.
Uncomfortable bed. Room needs updating. Small but OK for NYC.
The staff were great
Lifts in the morning could not cope with the number of users
The location of the hotel. It was in the centre of everything.
The reception was easy to book in Rooms nice and roomy Warm inside Easy to get the lift Concierge perfect
Service, was good. I' will stay again. Already planing for next year.
Location was great. One of the older hotels in NYC. Restaurant connected to hotel was good for breakfast. View from room on 36th floor was good.
Bathroom was tiny and water would alternate from hot to cold. Room was smaller than most hotels but hey it's in the middle of NYC.
The room was outstanding!! We stayed in the executive suite and it was spacious and clean!
Having to pay for our bags to be held after check out
Our concierge was excellent and very helpful making our travel arrangements to long island airport!! Great staff and bar!
Loved the restaurant Tratorria Bianca in the lobby. Loved the location. Size of room was great by NY standards! Easy check- in and check- out.
The room was very small.
Loved being next to Penn Station
Small room (it is NYC), and small bathroom.
location. staff room overall cleanliness
cleanliness of gym. water fountains had food/drink stains for several days. coopers bar changed to italian restaurant with bar now obscuring view through window very small christmas tree compared to last year. night time road works (not hotels fault).
Art Deco fixtures & fittings, but especially appreciated friendly & helpful staff.
Checking/out counter was a bit slow. Also flagging a taxi delayed, due to mix up with other guests' access to their parked/ garaged cars
I got a bottle of champaign for my bday:-)
Our 7th floor room was newly renovated. Every staff member I encountered was exceptionally personable. Three girlfriends had a wonderful Saturday night stay, at a great rate ($250. with tax & fees through booking.com), even though it's a week before Christmas! Madison Square Garden was a block away and the Tick Tock Diner was so convenient for our morning departure.
The price of the hotel needs to be what you say it is and not because it Was busier weekend than you thought
I very much enjoyed the people there and how they made everything so easy for us,good job in hiring this stuff!
The only one big thing I didn't like is the noise I could here from flushing toilets every half an hour,it was so loud I couldn't go back to sleep. And also I expected the room to be a bit bigger, but that was fine cause we just needed it to spend the night.
The lobby Location House keeping
Outdated The place has lost the attentiveness it once had. Bathrooms are like 1950s needs revamping
We arrived early, and the staff went out of their way to prepare a room for early chech-in. Hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful in all respects.
While the Tic Toc diner (attached) was excellent, we found the also attached Italian restaurant marginal at best. Overall good experience.
Excellent location for the cost, could not have been closer to the main attractions and more
Room on the small size but this was to be expected in NYC
