The location (Newbury Street) was perfect. The rooms were adequately appointed. The adjacent restaurants were top notch and convenient. I called for help getting a shuttle from the airport. I know that is not their job but it would have been nice to have gotten a little more then "I can't help you with that". The commanding view of the alley and dumpsters, although inherent with the location was not too swell.

We loved just about everything! The rooms are spacious for an old building, but nice. Staff was very helpful and super nice. Alley view from our big beautiful bay window. No crepes at breakfast. We thought being at the "Creperie" that's what we'd get. I can get eggs anywhere.

The location was fabulous and it's 3 min walk to the convention centre. Even though it is a tourists area it was very quiet at night and your sleep I'd not disturbed. Good morning breakfast provided. The same breakfast every morning during our one week stay? I think they can afford to change the menu twice a week.

Great little place, centrally located in Boston. Good breakfast, clean rooms and friendly staff. A little noise from the street and bed was a little hard for my taste.

I love Newbury Guest House. The location cannot be beat...right in the most wonderful section of Newbury Street where you can pop across or down the street for fabulous shopping or great cafe's and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. There is some noise if your room faces Newbury Street (traffic and late night partiers but this is offset by the lovely views onto the street and the convenience of being there. If noise bothers you, ask for a room facing the back, but know that you won't have a great city view...you will face the back alley.

Location. Great access to bars/rest. Quiet. Parking. Lack of room service options...beyond crepes. Bed was hard as a rock (rm 410). Basic innerspring mattress with no pillowtop covering. Hotels in your price range generally offer better quality bedding. This fact alone will prevent my future stay. I couldn't wait to get home to sleep in my own bed.

The staff members were lovely -- very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was generous. The elevator didn't work, and the parking was crowded and difficult.

Greaest location! Near lots of good things, restaurants, shopping, etc. easy to get around and back to. Also, very beautiful and thoughtfully done. Very pleasant people. They even have parking. And it was spotless. Only complaint was the bed was too hard, but my husband loved it that way!

Location, quaintness, decorating, creperie and dinner coupon Parking both the difficulty getting in and out and being charged for it instead of it being included. Also, it was nice to have breakfast included but the eggs and pancakes were cold and eggs and bacon containers were nearly empty even though we were at breakfast around 8:15.

The hotel is very close to the Hynes Convention Centre and a very nice alternative to the Mega-Marriott and Sheraton. Newbury Street is a nice neighborhood and the hotel itself has a lot of charm. Good breakfast. No plug close to the work desk, Internet is free but slow (1Mbit/sec), room service hours very limited.

Location, location, location. View from our room down Newberry Street was great. Breakfast was first class! Our room, was confortable, clean and well put together. Parking was convenient and easy. Proximity to the subway was a rea plus as well. Lobby looks a bit tired. It needs to be freshened up.

Excellent location. Nice brownstone atmosphere= much more warm and cozy than being in a huge hotel. Step out the door and everything is right there. Still quiet for being in the heart of the city. Very good classic French restaurant on premises. Helpful staff. Breakfast included. Wifi included. Minor details: Nice tv but a little tricky to operate. No shower caps or glasses in the bathroom. Room needed more electrical outlets.
