Beds were good
Lack of sound proofing in the walls.
In town for my husband's graduation. Perfect location for being able to easily get to the base. Comfortable and great breakfast.
Staff was wonderful
the price.. you get what you pay for
The COCAROAHES .. didn't even use shower... was really grossed out by it.
location, hotel had a shuttle to get downtown at night time
our room had no cable, the water pressure was terrible and never got warm, no wifi, parking was rare after 5 PM, lack of plugs (one looked like it was ripped out of the wall)
The Staff was nice
IMy son is 6' 4" and he as not able to take a shower comfortably, nor was my Husband and son able to be comfortable going to the bathroom, the 2nd bed was so close to the wall you had a hardtime getting onto the bed. The pool was not really that clean very cloudy.
Proximity to wedding venue.
Air conditioner was extremely noisy. Electrical outlet at sink did not work.
We very much enjoyed our stay at QI&S in Middletown. We stayed 4 nights. The hotel is conveniently located close to Newport. Staff was friendly, room was clean, comfortable bed with plenty pillows! Small refrigerator, microwave & hair dryer in room! EXCELLENT morning breakfast! Couldn't beat the price at QI&S! We'd definitely stay here again.
The only thing we didn't like was when returning to the hotel late at night, the parking lot out front was full and the card reader at the rear entrance close to our room didn't work.
Decent hot breakfast with eggs and sausage, and a make-your-own waffle station. Good coffee. Super friendly staff.
The hotel's website is misleading. It states the hotel has undergone a complete renovation, which is not true. Some areas have been renovated and the lobby and breakfast area are very nice. However, the rooms are small and in average condition at best. With two adults and two adult-size children, we felt very cramped. The first room they put us in had a non-working bathroom door. We moved to another room. The bathroom door closed, but the toilet did not shut off automatically and the water gushed loudly into the bowl until you jiggled the handle. If nobody remembered to stop the running toilet, the seat was soaked from the splashing of the fast-moving water. Yuck. We reported this to hotel maintenance the first morning we were there, and while they promised to fix it right away, it never got fixed. Also, we had to get our room keys replaced more than ten times in five days! They de-magnetized every few hours. It was very unpleasant to get back to the hotel after several hours on the beach, ready for showers, to find our keys didn't work yet again. The front desk staff is well-aware of this issue (it apparently happens all the time) and quickly replaced the cards each time. Also, while the room air-conditioner worked well, the hallways are very hot as none of the hall a/c units were working. We were toward the back of the hotel and faced a long hot walk to the front lobby area multiple times a day. (Thankfully the a/c in the lobby and breakfast area was working). This hotel also has the narrowest halls I have ever seen, which adds to the cramped suffocating feeling we had everywhere except the lobby and breakfast room. Finally, the security is non-existent. Several of the outside doors had non-working key card access, so this hotel's "solution" was to simply keep those doors unlocked at all times, 24 hours a day! We even found one door toward the back of the hotel tied open with rope.
The friendly professional staff and the full breakfast was great. A good value for such a popular location.
The bathroom was in disrepair and had a few tiles near the floor missing.
Breakfast was great. Room was great value and super quiet and comfortable.
Not informative staff of tourist area. Seems like they should know the area that is the main attraction. Staff didn't even let us know about the wifi so we never used it. Parking around the back was poorly lit.
Location Breakfast was decent Could tell the hotel was recently updated
Size of the room was small I thought it was a little overpriced for the size of the room and quality of the hotel On the second day both of our keys did not work upon our return to the hotel, went to the desk and asked them to reinstate our keys - they did not ask for ID to confirm that was our room. The view from our room overlooked an overflowing trash bin and discarded furniture. Each morning we woke to the sound of very large seagulls fighting over the trash.
Nice staff, comfortable beds.
The walls were paper thin, I could hear every guest leaving in the morning. Also there was no fan in the bathroom.
Location was great for Newport just a 10min drive. Staff was nice with all our problems
The hotel was under construction you couldn't get wifi anywhere. Then we get upgraded and the hot rub doesn't work. It wasn't the cleanest place either. The one computer they had was in a different language. We were unable to get. Ahold of a manager to see if we could get a discount for all the inconvince, but the front desk couldn't reach her.
We appreciate having a bigger room with some extra space be ause we had 4 kids under 9 with us. We could swim in the pool even during Hurricane Arthur. The breakfast options were great. Maids cleaned and straightened room and even our many pairs of shoes!
Saturday was crazy at breakfast. No where for everyone to sit. Might just be the holiday but hotel should be prepared.
Comfortable bed .A/c worked well and was comfortable.Breakfast was ok.Staff was friendly.
Hallways and lobby area was dirty.Room was strangely set up.2 small rooms and 1large room were empty except for a table and a light.Bathroom was very small impossible to close the door.Outside parking lot in rear was littered with construction debris nails and old mattresses.
The hotel is under renovation and in super bad shape. We got a room which was a complete mess and did not have all of the amenities you would expect from a suite. It was not ready to be used by guests as it was not completely furnished. The breakfast was terrible with the potatoes so undercooked that it would present a health hazard to eat. Bad, bad experience.
it was very convient clean and confortable
the double hot tub in the room
the whole place is currently under renovation and their was a lot of dust everywhere
The location was fine, the decor was nice. I did not take advantage of the breakfast.
It was under construction and we were not informed before arriving. The lobby was under active construction, the hallway where our room was also. Noise in the morning. I wish booking.com had informed us.
I love the comfortable bed and surprising jacuzzi. It made our trip so relaxing.
I didn't like how a staff member who was not apart of housekeeping just came into our room without knocking. Made us very suspicious to her intentions. After that day, we couldn't trust the staff.
The breakfast had alot to offer. Staff was friendly.
Room was dark, not enough lighting. Desk chair was uncomfortable.
The woman at the front desk was wonderful.....kind, helpful, and patient.
The hotel was a dump! We have Never stayed at more run down, dirty hotel, ever. We definitely would have changed hotels but it was parents weekend and we had a full agenda.
Beds weren't comfortable; bugs on floor and walls; blinds broken; too light in room at night/no drapes; bathroom set up very strange; noisy refrigerator.
