I will like this location during hot summer time. The location on the Hudson river and Manhattan view. Near the PATH tranes station and Newport mall.
The things I don't like is the tower building is not enough isulated and exposed to the wind direction, which caused a drift nosey freezing air to inside the suite and the AC heaters will not do any heating improvment to heat the suite spaces. All the furnishers are from IKEA shopping stores, which is too weak. All the beds in the two rooms are sigle and there is no douple bed for wife and hasband as showed picture in the internet. Cleaning by stay is not enough. The staff working in the building are not doing any maintenance repairs, (they are door men) without writing e-mails to the Allcity Coperation Housing Co to fix the problem. Their seewer lines in the Baths making bad smils because there is no enough trap to hold back up sewage smale and always unplug the main seewer raiser pipe which cause back up sewage from the upper levels. This making fooding sweage in the suite wooden flooring area. Too many dogs inside the building. most of the lights bulbs are burent out and no replacement with new builbs. Windows and AC frames gaps are not sealed thoughrally which allow freezing air to inter inside the rooms.There is no PM maintenance work on the suites prior to rent it to a new residents.
Loved getting the penthouse, the view over Manhattan was great. Clean Wifi worked well
I did not like the fine print extra charge of $69, I was in a real hurry so that surprised me but it was still worth the money.
We stayed for a week, with a group of friends, everything was good, including location.
very good location. the doorman so helpful all staff are excellent. the luxury apartment was very very clean. but I was hoping to found two bedroom coz I have two kids. every thing was so perfect

The kitchen, iron, washing machine, and dryer.
The blanket was really dirty and also the sofa was not in good shape. Hair dryer should be added to the service. The bed was small for 2 persons.
The only good thing is the location
This place is a run by a company called Allcity, it is not affiliated with Newport Tower suites and Allcity is a poorly managed company as far as I can tell. I planned to check in and drop off my luggage at 7:00pm and head to the city. When I arrived, the doorman at Newport Tower doesn't have the key for me, he said he is not affiliated with Allcity asked me to contact Allcity to sort this out. I called all phone numbers I can find and all led to voice mail, eventually after 30min someone returned my call and said they'll deliver the key within 5-10 min. That 5-10 min turned out to be more than 1.5 hours... I waited almost 2 hours total at the lobby for room key to arrive, with all my luggauge and hungry young kids. Needless to say it ruined my evening. On top of that, it's difficult to reach the staff if you need anything (voice mail and need to wait for call back). For example, it's missing a hair dryer (called at 9pm ) but we need to wait for next morning (9:30am) for someone to deliver it. The 24 hour front people don't work for Allcity and doesn't provide service to you. There is no concierge as advertised. The suite itself is a bit run-down, with dirty walls, broken closet door, cordless phone has dead battery, TV doesn't turn on, etc. Also there is no housekeeping (yet they charged $50 cleaning fee), and the staff said they expect us to wash our towel and empty the trash. This is not a serviced hotel/apt/suite and should not show up when I search for hotel or suites. Overall, I've been to many hotels and suites all over the world and this is the worst run place I've ever encountered.

We booked in a unit and had a comfirmed email that all was booked .On arrival ,we were given a letter and told other people in wanted to stay longer and could not have Waterfront unit with view of town ,but had to move to other one half mile away .Unit had view of next door building and railway line at back. I left messages ,5 of ,to ring or email me and no one got back to me .In end rang Sales department and talked to some one straight away ,who tried to help ,but still no out come that we wanted . Was the end of out holiday in States and left bad note of our time there . Seems if you book room and unit block ,you may not end up in it ? Dave NZ

The location was excellent, a few minutes walk to the Path train, then 10-15 minute train ride to either the WTC or 33rd St. Everything we needed was at the apartment and the view was great of the Manhattan skyline, nice big windows! Check in and out were very simple and parking was right beside the Path train station at $20 per day
The apartment was clean though the walls and doors looked dirty and marked up and the bathtub didn't drain properly.
