Location was good, close enough to subway and attractions and on the most part, staff were great.
They had a real issue with the lifts, of the two lifts only one was working each day. So trying to move all guests in one lift just didn't work. I also needed my safe opened, after waiting for an hour I had to leave to meet up with friends so I told the concierge on my way out not to worry about it. I came back to my room to discover a staff member had opened my safe (while I was not in the room), changed the combination and then slipped a note in the safe door with the new combination - completely not what you do and would expect better for a chain hotel such as doubletree by Hilton which would have clear procedures about this.
Location: easy access to subway and train station. Quiet street, close enough to Time Square and Broadway Theater District,
Only 2 small elevators for more than 20 floors and most of the time 1 of them was out of service, leading to >20 mins. waiting time.
Good location and very friendly staff.
The bath was blocked. That was really really annoying! The room is very small.
hotel kept the house keeping cart with all the towels at the end of my hall everyday
Central location for shopping, close to Macy's, Times Square, B&H a big electronics store. Also not far from the meat packing district with its cool night life and restaurants. Helpful staff!
The wait on elevators was too long. Relatively small hotel and narrow hall ways.
While traveling to NY I will always stay at this hotel. The room was small (typical), but clean and the showers are huge!
Quality of the room.
The lift! There are 2, one was often not working, although that was being addressed the delay time was a frustration.
The hotel location was prefect for us. It offered us the option of walking 6 blocks to the theatre or walking 2 blocks to the closest subway for a 5 min. ride downtown. The staff was extremely pleasant.
Unfortunately, there was no hot water our first morning. The issue was corrected & we had no problems any other days.
Everything was so great just wow Staff was super caring, always available and they even gave us cookies when we arrived :D Beds were the comfiest and the room was clean, with a lot of space. The hotel is near the big apple and metro/bus station. I suggest this hotel to everyone you won't regret it Like i don't get why it's a 3/4 star hotel man give this hotel all the stars 10/10 A+
The water in the shower was not that hot but they told us they were in maintenance, sadly i left before it was fixed since i did not stayed in nyc for long
Price and location
amenities. Cold room. No heat plus front desk didn't help when told.
room were clean good location reasonable size room (for NY) refrig in room staff helpful and friendly
not enough elevators for property
Convenient for Times Square, Empire State and Penn station ( to get everywhere else)
Small (clean) rooms and expensive for what it is
Location was fine. Not a great block but close to Times Square. Staff was pleasant.
Small room, not unexpected in a NYC hotel. Really dated lobby and restaurant. Elevators are old, small, and painfully slow.
Every staff was very helpful. Lobby very cozy.
Shower stall a bit slippery, you may want to invest in non-slip grip mats.
Great location, helpful staff.
Coffee machine in room Warm chocolate cookie on arrival Huge king size bed Clean bathroom and powerful hairdryer
sound of ice machine in corridor next to our room
The staff were friendly and helpful. Close to Penn Station. The room was good with a nice view of the Hudson River. Very comfy bed. Large bathroom-great shower.
No brochures/coupon offers on places to see or shop. Small elevators.
Location, places in walking distance
Felt a bit seedy outside
The elevators were super slow and at one point stopped working, I had to walk down the stairs.
Location & proximity to both tourist spots and subway
Not much to comment; except the prices in NYC are always expensive.
The location was a 5 min walk from Times Square. Had lots of shops/restaurants/bars closeby. Yet set away so not on a main busy street.
Conveniently close to transit and restaurants, but quiet enough for a good sleep. Staff friendly and helpful; our compact room was cleaned efficiently. Computers and printers in lobby very handy. Everything worked!
Fridge was a bit noisy, so we unplugged it after we devoured our leftovers.
Thomas was extremely helpful and made the trip fun with his friendly and fun personality.
Convenient to my reason for travel. Staff was very professional and helpful. Everything seemed clean in the room.
Room was tiny, very noisy with street noise one of the nights, most of the night. Control to the A/C was broken. For the price I expected at least a bit larger of a room. No free WiFi--should be included in the room price. Was told that check in time was 3pm but when I arrived it was changed to 4pm. Breakfast could have at least been included at the price paid.
