The lobby and rooms decorations are very modern and unique. The TV screen in room is big with very high image quality. Hotel location is perfect and just few steps from downtown of Manhattan, which allowed me not to use any taxi.
Street noise was very near. Room rate is rather expensive compared with room size which is somehow small, more and over breakfast isn't complimentary though the restaurant in the lobby area.
location, staff services, clean and so nice
room square small, and night club in the bottom was noisy at night time on weekends
The overall hotel was great. I was very excited to make this my new hotel when I travel to New York!
There is a night club downstairs that blasts music until 4am. I wore ear plugs and placed my IPad over my head (on my face) playing the sounds of the ocean in attempt to drowned out the music. And it was still loud. I slept about 2 hrs.
I liked the location of this Hotel as it was in the city and walking distance to Times Square and the Metro station.
The offsite parking.
The staff were very friendly and helpful The rooms and hotel itself were decorated beautifully
the location, hotel, staff, facilities, bar, etc.
there isn't much privacy in the shared rooms.
They staff were friendly, helpful and kind. They let me have a late breakfast once or twice. I want to give a big shout out to the reception staff who were always there to answer all my questions. The food in the restaurant was lovely and the staff were attentive.
Very nice hotel made good drinks and was on good location. staff was very helpful and sweet I would definitely recommend others to stay here pretty cool hotel and comfy.
Only problem I had was the cleanliness, above the windows the ceiling had very bad weird brown stains that were unsightly.
Very clean. Excellent service and modern facilities. Skylight in room with electronic shade. Spa shower head. Storage. High speed wifi
Too many elaborate pictures on walkway to get elevator. Mirrors everywhere in the room. Window facing the hallway.
I'm a cheapo so I don't usually stay places like this so I found this LUXURIOUS Cool code locking for lockers - feel like you're disarming a bomb LGBT friendly TV has heaps of channels (not used to that usually!) Good air conditioning system in share room Curtains for each bed
Found bugs in the room No option for female only share room
Clean modern hotel with a lovely outdoor terrace area.Friendly and helpful staff.Amazing location in the heart of Manhattan. Will be booking this hotel again it was excellent value for money!
Perfect location, just 10 min. walking from 42 Port Authority bus station, Times Sq., etc.
breakfast was not included in the price, but for the rest it was really good
kindness of the personnel Qulality of service and food at KTCHN
Never got my Wake up call. Prices are expensive at the restaurant.
Friendly staff, great location, spacious room, good price
Quiet for NY but some noise, perhaps from aircon, all night.
Very clean. Excellent people working there. Good location if you want to be in times square
High price for shared room
The receptions were really nice and very helpful
I was there for 5 nights my room was cleaned 3 times. And the door singe was on out. And I had breakfast at the restaurant it was really bad.
Shared room was great, got to meet other people but also had privacy because of the curtains on the bed. Great location. Large closet with lock was convenient.
It was nice and peaceful and the staff was very nice and helpful.
The wifi didn't work all the the time i had to keep calling the front desk for help

- stylish looking hotel - huge patio - close to Port Authority terminal and Times Square, but far enough to be quiet - flawless wifi connection
- Nightclub next door (can be noisy on Saturday night) - Price - but overall ok for the location and the standing of the room (everything is crazy expensive anyway in NY) - phoncalls are billed to expensive IMHO
The OUT made me feel at home from the start for a long weekend in July. Great staff, clean, sexy room, enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the hottub and location was awesome. Will definitely come back again.
Amazing staff, Great Location and Very Clean and New Hotel - A lot better than where a lot of my friends were staying
The Wifi was really poor
- Location: is great, a little away from the madness of Times Square, but still in the heart of it all. That's what we loved most about the location. Transport - Easy access to 42nd street subway lines connecting to all parts of the city. Nightlife of Hells Kitchen, various restaurants, gay bars and clubs all within walking distance. The water transport piers are also a short walk away. 42nd Street traffic goes both directions so easy access for taxis. There is a 24 hr grocery next door and ever alive Times Square & Theatres a couple of blocks away. - Hotel: interesting design, lots of open spaces to see the blue sky, many common chill out areas beyond the lobby - bamboo garden and green courtyard were our favourites, art work in the corridors and lobby. Liked the flat spread out layout unlike most hotels which are vertical. - Spa & Gym: small but intimate, relaxing hot tub, sun lounges. Gym had decent equipment but was dark and poorly lit like a nightclub. Would have been good to have windows facing outside. - Rooms: We had a junior suite, which was very spacious and secluded. We didn't face any sounds from the club as we asked for a quiet room. The amenities, house keeping, were very good - Hotel Crew: very responsive and friendly. Especially the house keeping staff were great. - Food: after our terrible hotel restaurant experience always ate out rather than spend $60 on a bad breakfast when you can get many options and great service for less than half the price within 5 walking minutes. Overall - a good option to stay in NYC for first time visitors, looking to explore the city and be in the heart of midtown.
Restaurant : The Staff and service in the restaurant was very poor. We had breakfast there once and never went back in the 10 days we stayed. In-attentive, haughty, a dish was partly served (toast without preserves and spreads) and still billed fully, excess billing for a dish not ordered and no apology for that mistake, forced 20% gratuity in the bill even though the menu says this would be only for groups over 6. Understand that there are many divas among the staff and attitude is one thing - but unprofessionalism, and plain laziness is unacceptable. This was the only sore point of our stay. Recommendation is not to eat at the hotel - there are scores of better options within 5mins of walking - on 9th and 10th avenues, Gotham's market, Fuel, Amy's Bread, to name a few. Gym: Small and dimly lit like a nightclub.
Unusual design of hotel and room, clean, friendly staff....
Very noisy conditioner, not comfortable shower.
Best Location Friendly Staff Good Wi-Fi
Sometime our room is not being cleaned properly
