I loved the comfy beds in our room, as well as the fantastic location. Close to everything.
They really pushed the KTCHN restaurant (part of OUT) as a great experience, so we tried Sunday brunch there. Very slow service and inattentive staff kept us waiting, wasting our time. We finally had to ask the host station to check us out. Don't buy the bottomless mimosas; they never return to offer you a 2nd or 3rd.
Stayed for 2nd time. Very comfortable king room with all needed amenities. Lots of restaurants and activities in area.
Housekeeping staff starts knocking early. No closet but shelves in bathroom.
We were visiting with friends from Denmark who were also guests at our recommendation. The lobby was noisy so there was nowhere to relax and have conversations after a long day in the City before retiring for the day. Our room faced the garden and it was loud until around midnight.
Close to Javits Center....
No parking relations with any garages...
Mixed review of staff. Some reception staff extremely friendly...assistant manager was extremely unprofessional and lacks all basic customer service skills. He is a disgrace to the rest of the staff that are so friendly there.
Assistant manager was extremely unprofessional and lacks all basic customer service skills. He is a disgrace to the rest of the staff that are so friendly there. I did not like the design of the rooms. Felt like I was trapped in a basement. Walls very thin.....concept good but hotel needs work.
Location Urban Garden Spa
Wifi was poor The restaurant is not as good as the rest of the hotel
Great location but the overall hotel is looking tired and the staff are pretty slow and not responsive. Great outdoor and spa area etc but again looking a little tired.
Wifi free , good bed ,clean , location
Facilities , price not good for what they have it's expensive around 130 $ per bed in a dorm for nothing , the shower make my fair wet it's fixed in the wall not moving up or down
Cancellation policy is unfair, it monopolize the customers by charging them on night fee for cancellation.
I liked that the guy at front desk let me switch rooms when I wasn't thrilled with the first one.
I didn't like that the locker rooms and bathrooms were all co-ed. That was a little awkward. Also, one hot tub was cold, and other hot tub's jets didn't work so that was disappointing.
Stylish city-resort living, with friendly staff and good location.
Noisy NYC traffic but that's not the hotel's fault!
Really enjoyed our stay in this fairly unique style hotel. Very comfortable and easily accessible. Would defo stay there again.
Fridge in room was not cool, literally! Expensive mini bar so defo didn't use as drinks were warm. Lighting could not be switched off from bed, but these are minor points and would not put me off staying again
Staff & location
The toilet made repetitive noise from the cistern which they did/could not fix. This was the only thing that was a problem
It's located very central, the facilities were amazing, and the free wifi is great. Loved this hotel!
Excellent staff, great facilities, just so much calm amidst Manhattan madness and a massive and very, very comfortable bed.
Poor sound proofing in the spa quadrant meant that the waterfalls were always audible from first thing until being switched off at 00:00.
Spa, friendly staff, modern room.
A bit of a walk to the nearest subway station.
Location (Hell's Kitchen) Restaurant (Mimosa brunch) Rooms
Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, modern facilities and Times Square within easy walking distance
The location of the hotel was perfect. It's close to all major NYC attractions and the subway. The facilities were extremely clean and the staff very accommodating.
The rooms, facing the atrium area and near the front of the hotel, were loud due to the night club (located on the first floor of the hotel) and people walking by (talking) at all hours of the night. If booking...get a room away from both areas (if you want a quiet sleep). Also, stay away from the adjoined restaurant. It's over-priced! There's a great post just across the street. It's much cheaper and has great food.
Good Facility Meeting new people , was nice experience Excellent jacuzzi Secure ( There are police car parked out side 24 hours )
Keep 50 USD deposit , for foreign guest it takes some time before the cash is credit back. 10 mins walk from Time square ( i don't like to walk :) ). No Metro station nearby.
That bed was to die for! I almost didn't want to go out and enjoy the city.
Close to all the theaters and Times square. Subway close. Spa very good and beautiful and modern room. Great space and decoration.
Staff mostly unfriendly, before all the blondie guy which made our check-in late evening. Rude, unprepared and fully snob. They never clean the carpet during our stay. Too much surveillance about gay atitudes, we dont feel free enough, even if the hotel announces itself Like a friendly hotel. The crowd is mostly straight. They dont change the Water in the jaccuzies every day. Very expensive rates and no breakfast includes.
Big room Very Clean Good Bathroom Very Modern New Hotel
A Drag Queen exibition was happening in the hotel while we were there and no one told us that a cocktail party would happen at the hotel lobby. We were surprised when we got there.
Good location Comfortable rooms Nice amenities Friendly staff
Room a bit noisy due to the club downstairs on weekends but nothing you can't handle with some earplugs
