Ideally located in Times Square, this Manhattan hotel has a 24-hour front desk. Edison Hotel - Triumph Group is just an 8-minute walk from Rockefeller Center and a 10-minute walk from Bryant Park.

Score from 2673 reviews Good
The hotel is in an excellent spot just off Times Square. There is subway lines at your door step but the line to JFK is a few blocks away. Plenty of food spots and little convienence store right next door. Staff were friendly and always helpful with good tips. Wi fi in common area only and kept dropping in and out. TV has plenty of stations and comfy bed.
The bar fridge is configured for the drinks you can buy and difficult to add your own. Bar fridge didn't work but was fixed, was able to order ice though. Have to pay for wi fi in room.
Location was great, though personally I wouldn't stay near Times Square again.
Location was close to all tourist requirements, photos of the hotel give impression of space, of which there is limited (at best)
I loved the location of this hotel. Your walk out and literally walk 10 steps to times square. That part made it worth the money. The rooms are small, but its NYC and if its your first time like it was ours, you are literally never inside your hotel room....we barely even slept because everything is open so late. There was construction on the same street so if you needed a taxi, it was a little annoying to walk down a block or two to get one. But thats only temporary. The staff was EXTREMELY nice...carried our bags when we arrived and departed. Central a/c and heat was a plus too especially with how cold it was.
There was no free wifi. It's 9.95 PER DAY which is kind of extreme to me....but still not that big of a deal. The elevator is enough to fit only four people max so it was always occupied so we used the stairs all the time..we were on the 6th floor so it got annoying after a long day of walking around.
The hotel was amaculate and the staff were so friendly and helpful. And most of all it felt very safe. 10/10 for are visit.
That we didnt stay for the rest of are duration in new york city :)
The bar music was loud on Friday night.
the location, a jump close to Time Square and Jaizily and Samuel on last day of our stay that help me to solve some misunderstanding with the hotel.
the standard rooms are really little . With luggages inside , as we had , it was almost impossible to live in the room. The cupboard is inexistent . The request of guarantee through the credit card , already provided through Booking, was daily obsessive .
Seconds from Times Square and good value for money.
Room was tiny and the breakfast looked too unappealing to eat.
Just 30 metres from Times Square - great location.
The hotel room we booked was classes as a spacious queen room. When we arrived the room was tiny and literally had a metre space around the bed. Getting in and out of the bathroom was also very tough. I complained the next morning only to stay nothing could be done. The next night was even worse and so I demanded we move or we'd leave. They moved our room and it was considerably better but still very dated. Bathroom was freezing and heating was stupidly noisy. Disappointed for the cost!
Great location, gorgeous decor, comfy beds and very clean!
Clean and comfy. Good shower. We had king size bed room and it was just an ok size not big but fine. Very Central can walk anywhere from the park to empire not too far from anything!
As ur in Times Square there's lots of noise and beeping from cars but can't really help that with the location. Still slept fine and quiets down in evening! You should be up early and way to go and explore!! X
I was with my daughter it was our second time staying there the staff and everyone who works there are so nice and helpfully the location is excellent we will be staying again and would recommend it to family friends and anyone who was thinking of traveling to New York.
Even though it was a small room it was modern, clean and comfortable to stay right at Times Square area. It's a beatique hotel so it had a really cute, modern lobby and restaurant. We had breakfast and it was good and inexpensive. Besides the rooms being tiny. It was great! Great location!
The rooms are very small but very creatively nice.
The location of the hotel is very convinient, in Times Square near a subway station. The style and design of the hotel are unique and relly beutifull
Maybe a bit noisy but thats part of beeing in Times Square
Rooms very small
Location is excellent The reception, foyer, bar and restaurant all good The concierge Ana was helpful
This hotel should be renamed the Noisy Hotel. Regardless of the obvious traffic noise with such a central location, we were also next to a building site which meant constant drilling. We were not notified by booking.com that there was demolition work next door to the hotel nor by the hotel during our stay. Only one power socket in room working The bathroom was a wet room which meant you had to paddle through shower water to get to the toilet No bath and the shower lacked any pressure Expensive for what it was Decor and bathroom tired and didn't match the entrance of the hotel Lack of storage in bedroom and only 5 hangers for 2 people Overall a disappointing stay but hasn't put us off of New York
For the location the price was good
Very small rooms
The lobby was comfortable and inviting.. the staff was kindaand helpful.. our flight got us to New York very early and we were very tired.. check in wasn't until 3pm and at 9:30am they let us in... such a needed sleep!.. Thank you!!
The room (especially the bathroom) was extremely small.. but I must say I would stay again without hesitation and would recommend to a friend.
Good location Comfortable beds Beautiful aquariums in lobby
Unfriendly staff Perfumy smell throughout No coffee in room or lobby
Accommodating staff, inviting lobby
Bathroom layout, unavailable free in-room wifi
The hotel could not have been more central to the sights we wanted to see - it felt like we were right in the action. The staff were really friendly and let us check in early and store our luggage until a later with no extra charge. The adjoining restaurant/bar was really cool and the food was tasty and a good price. The rooms were small but perfect and had everything you could need - I liked having the radio tuned into a New York music station! It was decorated in a fun and funky style and really felt like a New York boutique hotel rather than a faceless chain you might experience elsewhere.
There were no prices for the mini-bar in the room so I avoided taking anything from it. Also the extra charge for internet.
Paid wifi in rooms Dirty bed sheets
Right beside Times Square & across from lovely Irish pub!! Very modern hotel, rooms very small but spotless.
Lift very small & slow. And added tax onto rooms very expensive
Pretty good location if you like to spend time up town and mid town. Pretty good value for money. You get what you pay for and this hotel has a quite good rate.
Freezing cold in the room, we had to sleep with layers of clothes. Windows didn´t keep the cold or the noise out. There were construction work going on outside on the street in the middle of the night and the noise from that was very loud. The elevators are very slow, choose the stairs.
Walk out and you're right in the middle of times square. Most good food and drink is within walking distance. We walked to Central Park and Rockefeller Plaza several times. There is a private car which can bring you to and from the airport which is cheaper than a cab. We had a very enjoyable time at this hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous and was always offering to help us. They have umbrellas to use in the room and the attendant downstairs even offered us his because it was raining outside. All in all i believe it was worth the money i paid for it. Room sizes are small but you are never in your room except when you're sleeping. We had a great time.
When we arrived our mini bar was turned off and smelled. We called and waited a day for an attendant to come up. They turned it on and cleaned it out a bit. It was not until that night that we discovered mold on the mini bar drinks and someone had left food in there. We called and they offered to upgrade us from Queen to King and we accepted. The king room was bigger however the Queen bathroom is larger (shower is approx 2x the size in the Queen room). Also we ordered the Room Service Tuna Tar Tar which is supposed to come with chips and they forgot to bring us our chips. The morning breakfast buffet is not that great as there are not a ton of selections. I just had sausage and bacon. At night the bar downstairs is small there is not really anywhere to sit for a night cap however there is a bars all over and it is easy to find a place to go to have a night cap.
