Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was very soothing and attractive. There wasn't a magnified mirror in the bathrooms. I also didn't like being in an alcove, because the door to the other room was too close and the person staying in that room often had problems getting into their room and were rather noisy.

Clean, every worker I came in contact with was friendly, helpful and professional. The noise from the street was way too loud. I could hear the club music going on all night long. Couldn't get to sleep till around 2am.

location, the room was clean and it looked fair parking was overpriced, 52$ and on the oposite part of the road was 32$. Internet was charged 16$ / night, a luxury hotel with no internet... also one phone call in the USA was charged over 8$. So the overall impression was that you were overcharged everywhere in the hotel.

Staff is really nice and helpful. I call the operator from the room and no matter how ridiculous my questions are They are patient and do so much more than expected to resolve or walk me through any concerns I had. They should have a dinosaur in the lobby for sure! Super upset there wasn't one.

Excellent location, right by the BART; taxi rank right outside the door; fantastic views; TV in the bathroom! The pool was nice and big enough to do laps in, but was a bit too shallow on the shallow side of the pool

Location, view, service. Unable to contact booking agent after realizing I booked for one night. Modifications like adding a day was not an option. The second night costs 33% more than the first night which was over $300. Way over valued. $50/Nite parking..Really?

Every aspect of this hotel experience was superb. Rooms are very luxurious and comfortable. The location is great and the amenities are top of the line. From the moment you enter the hotel, you are treated like a king. Not one experience with this hotel was negative.

Room was a good size I was not impressed to be told we could pay with a travel card then on checking out told we couldn't. This was very unprofessional from a staff point of view as it stuffed us around with money.

The "assistant director" had me in tears & it took over 2 hours to get my room after a 12 hour business conference . I was exhausted but the hotel "asst. Director" made demands of me that I could not provide & she knew it! She was sarcastic & inflexible & I had to make 6 calls "after hours" to my hr Director "at home" & my company will not use this hotel again as a result. The Asst Director of the hotel was incompetent & unprofessional & extremely humiliating / rude in front of other guests. The management staff insisted on cash.. Then insisted on credit card... Then back to cash... THE WATER BARELY TRICKLED FROM THE SHOWER HEAD & IT TOOK TWICE THE TIME TO COMPLETE A SHOWER WHICH MADE ME LATE TO MY BUSINESS MEETING

You get a glass of wine at check in! How awesome is that? The place is spotless, convenient, safe and gorgeous! Awesome view! No free wi-fi or fitness center use. But I did get to watch Game of Thrones for free!

Not Much except the location Facilities were not well maintained and they forgot a lot of standard luxuries. A luxury Hotel should not nickel and dime you everywhere. Would not stay there again. They are trying to be a luxury Asian Hotel and came up way short. The Marriot is better.

Service, view 51 dollars a night to park. Bath dirty, hair in tub from previous guest, stained grout, hair in ice bucket cheap furnishings, closet door off track, wallpaper pealing off wall. Initially shown a 200 square foot room then charged 20 dollars a night to upgrade tried to cancel stay but they could not refund due to booking. My 600 dollar room ended up costing over 1000 dollars for 3 nights. Did not use pool or gym or restaurant, too put off by condition of shower and room maintenance. How did this place get an excellent rating.

Reception personnel were great, very professional. Room was nice and clean. Centrally located in Union Square - quick walk to/from Market Street Shower could have been cleaner. Use of bleach could be more on a regular schedule due to orange-ish grout growth. (I'm a microbiologist) Shower heads should be cleaned more often due to mineral deposits.

The woman who checked us in at the front desk was very helpful. Our flight was cancelled and we should have been on our way home to Connecticut. She made a difficult situation fun and then had us speak to the concierge who gave us great infor for our day and night of touring the city. The hotel is lovely and our room was spotless. We would definitely stay at Hotel Nikko again. The entire staff was excellent!

The staff were excellent. The hotel took our pre-paid reservation and did not have our room when we arrived, so we were downgraded from the King we reserved to a Queen. They did give us free wi-fi to attempt to make up for the error, but the fact they gave away our room will keep me from staying here again.

The fitness center and swimming pool were awesome! I have to give Special Kudos to the young Lady who came twice to our room to bring a wine cork that finally did the trick to open our wine bottle ... Here with my grown daughters (3) to celebrate their March Birthdays. Also ... The car dept and front door staff were soooo awesome. Quick ... And welcoming! We had a very worn out and unsightly chair that ' greeted ' us upon our arrival. Good Point: called Housekeeping and it was immediately addressed And the person who brought the Replacement chair was so sweet abd accommodating and apologized for the worn-out chair.
