The staff was very helpful and friendly without being overbearing. The pool was on the fifth floor with glass ceiling and view of the city which was great, and also uncrowded, another plus. Our room also had a great view. Overall excellent experience. |

We've stayed there for over 20 yrs. It's proximity to union square is great. The $45 a night for parking is awful! |

The location was great; food in Anzu restaurant was excellent; and the lounge show in the Rrazz Room was spectacular. There was a problem with our valet-parked car; the staff was not very apologetic or helpful until we contacted the manager. |

Clean hotel close to everything around Union Square and courteous serivce Extra cost to use the fitness facility, so I did not use it. Very expensive parking, so we parked across the street for half the price. |

We walked the surrounding streets, had, dinner, shopped and enjoyed the Starbucks at the First floor. The fees for everything from parking to use of the pool and Health Spa. |

The staff was extremely helpful. Everything was on-point. Room cleanliness and amenities, just what was necessary. The beds are very comfortable--down comforter and pillows, jacquard sheets..the whole nine. This is not the gaudy look, but clean lines and contemporary comfort. (Television in the mirror was a lush techy touch) I went with my partner, and this was the perfect place for a quick getaway into SF for location. I've read most of the comments regarding the regular rooms, but not enough reviews for the Imperial Club rooms. If you're looking for experience and VALUE, go with an Imperial Club room. No internet fee and breakfast hassles. You get the gym and pool facilities at your dispense as well. So there you go, enjoy. People call the look sterile, I call it comfort. I sleep better when everything is clean. |

The bed was comfortable and the lobby was nice. I was very disapointed with the Nikko hotel . I had known of this hotel for years and had looked forward to spending a night there. The furniture in the room was outdated, damaged and worn . When the drawers were opened dust came flying out The bathroom was completly uninteresting . Last month we stayed at the Kabuki hotel and it was a much more pleasurable and superior experience . The fact that you had to pay extra to use the swimming pool felt odd and somehow cheapened the experience considering it is advertised as an amenity . |

The staff was outstanding. I simply cannot say enough about how gracious, helpful and immediate they were to our needs. Never once did we have to wait more than a few minutes for anything from the porter to pick up our bags to room service. Our room was small, but very clean and a beautiful view. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice and big. The ice machine on our floor did not work. |

Location. layouit of the room and spaciousness. The staff at the lounge, Luis is very helpful. Some areas within the room has not been cleaned properly. Front Desk staff is not particularly knowledgeable. The Anzu restaurant breakfast is not very good and little hot items were offered. |

Good location, pleasant design for a corporate hotel (i.e. tasteful, if a little bland, but not too glitzy). I value having a swimming pool (which is why I chose the Nikko over the quirkier boutique hotels near Union Sq). Good value overall. |

Imperial Room was very nice & the view was great. Didn't take advantage of the spa/pool/workout room, but they looked wonderful. Loved being so close to upscale shopping. TV in bathroom was a nice touch. The hospitality room for the Imperial Club group was fun also a great touch |

Nice view of downtown and access to Imperial Lounge. Probably would not stay there again. I had asked them to take into consideration we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on this trip. Nothing special was done or said by hotel. Sad they missed an opportunity to make a customer for life by indifference. |

First, I told that I need two-bed room when I made a reservation, but they first gave me a one-king-bed room.... Second, I found one unclean cup was in the room when I checked in. I claimed to replace it, but they did not do that. Third, they did not answer my e-mail for one week after I send an e-mail about the fact I left my jacket in my room. 1. |

We were very impressed with the Michelle Krupkin at the front desk. She was most helpful and gave us excellent suggestions on dinning and "things not to miss" while we were in the city! Thanks Michelle~ Room service food was average; cold. Also, we visited the "Hospitality Lounge" on the 23rd floor and it was a nice extra, however it was not well maintained as far as cleanliness and replenishing the snacks/drinks that were offered. |

The hotel was really luxurious. Everything about it was nice. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Really close to the shopping district, walking distance and a short cab ride to the pier. Someone came in to clean our room while we were shopping and forgot to close the door. When I came back door was wide open. Luckily nothing was missing. |
