Beds we're comfy
Very noisy area at night
The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated. All of the staff that we met were extremely polite and helpful. The wine reception was quite nice but we didn't get to have any appetizers - they ran out before we arrived.
The room was too small and although they had free wifi, we were never able to access the internet on our phones so had to turn off wifi and use LTE.
Location is convenient and, even though I did not take advantage of it, there is afternoon wine and morning coffee which is nice. Bed was comfortable. Good stay.
It's a tad pricey, but everything in Boston is!
Very comfortable accommodations.
Parking is difficult - but that's Boston!
Lovely clean and comfortable hotel in a fantastic location, staff all very helpful.
Location was excellent, complimentary coffee and iced water at the lobby
The service desk was not staffed when I arrived, although the eventual service was good. My room had terrible wifi, I think the reason was its location near Omni hotel. The Kimptongroup signal kept dropping and picking up the Omni signal. It was constantly having to reconnect to the Kimptongroup signal that was frustrating. I made several calls to the front desk to seek help. The first time, the guest services rep helped to re-set the wifi on my floor. The second time, I was told to call the IT desk myself! Needless to say I was flabbergasted.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff.
Extra cost for wifi and no pool.
Overall superb, would stay here again! Location was fantastic!
Paying extra for wifi.
Located right by Boston Common, everywhere was walkable. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, if a little on the small side. Room service was fast and the food was good. Overall, a great base for our stay.
Although the food and service were good, eating breakfast in a bar area felt like we'd stepped out of a top-end hotel into a pub. It didn't quite match the style & quality of the rest of the hotel, and we decided to eat breakfast out most days.
Check in and being told I had not pre paid when I had . Only when I queried this twice the receptionist said a mistake had been made.
Wine tasting hour was a fun place to meet others as I was working alone on my trip.
great location and near many attractions, quiet, clean, friendly staff, cute decor
thermostat was a little iffy, turned it down to 64 degrees and was still sweating
All staff very helpful. Fab room. Morning coffee was great.
I love the attention to detail thru the entire experience. Kimpton truly focuses on the customer journey!
staff were extremely helpful and friendly. loved the wine hour and coffee available in the morning. location was very central and ideal for sightseeing. bed was very comfortable and it was quiet. shower was great!
It was quite pricey but probably in line with costs of other hotels of the same standard and location in Boston. Driving to get there was a nightmare and parking is a substantial additional cost. I had hoped for a room with a view and had requested this, but we were really close to the wall of the next building so only saw this.
Location is everything. I was able to check out the Quincy Market area the Boston Commons, Esplanade Boathouse area (that was a major walk), the North End and the Copley Square (another major walk). Close to 2 "T" stops. You can catch the train from the airport and if you are feeling a little lazy, you can catch the T everywhere else. The staff was very helpful, gave me excellent recommendations of the local spots. I would stay again.
Being able to walk to all the Harbor walk, to Newbury Street, the North End. The employees who took the time to tell us how to get around . The T being just down the street. The wine at 5:00 :) in the lobby. We saved on not having to take taxis .
No coffee in the room. The room looked like a great price until ALL the taxes were added on and then not so much.
Convenience and professionalism.
The staff and location were both amazing. I have already recommended this hotel and our friends will be staying there in late August.
This was by far the best hotel that I have ever stayed at!! The accommodations were fabulous, and all of the little extra touches made it that much better! Like the coffee and fruit-infused water in the lobby, and the wine happy hour at night! The staff was just AMAZING!! In addition to assisting with anything that I needed, they provided information about the city and help with finding an apartment. Liz made sure that I was able to have wine if I had missed happy hour, and also put together a little house warming package for my new apartment in Boston! Just wonderful, I can't wait to stay here again!
I was sad that I had to leave : (
locatated in the middle of everything, beatiful room with a great view, very comfortable bed
no free internet
Location. Lobby decor. Infused water in the lobby.
Staff attention to details and management of problems when they emerged. Poor check in management. I called down 15 mins prior to have them arrange a taxi to airport. When I came down no taxi was called. Had other problems and none were handled well. The valet guys were helpful, so too was the concierge.
The staff were amazing and very attentive but not overly. The location was terrific and very close to all the sites. We had breakfast at the hotel each day because the price was reasonabe considering the price of breakfasts in other hotels we have stayed at. A nice surprise.
The daily coffee service, flavored waters, and happy hour were nice touches. We also appreciated the free bikes. Our 3 hour ride to Harvard made for a nice memory for our family. The staff were all fantastic!
The location was perfect--one block from the Boston Common and the Park T station. Food was excellent and the staff very accommodating.
No pool for the kids.
