Good location for Mt.Rainier, spacious and renovated rooms, wine in the lobby, ok breakfast.
Staff (which seemed to be comprised of a single woman who was doing everything) was inattentive and did not go out of their way to help with our needs.
Two years ago we stayed at this lodge and it was a good price but was becoming out of date and worn out. This year the bedrooms have been recently updated, a substantial continental breakfast offered, and a wine hour in the evening. Very great stay and a great price too!
Nothing, very impressed with the improvements made.
good location, good service
under remodeling, room smells bad, door cannot be closed easily, cold and hot water pipes must be reversed
Close to the national park. Staffers were very friendly.
Lovely little lodge, ideal location for the mountain trails and parks. The breakfast was great, lots of choice.
Only criticism would be that we weren't shown to our room and therefore weren't shown where everything was including the extra bedding which was in a drawer.
The staff was extremely friendly and it was very quiet. The stay was very comfortable and relaxing. We would hands down stay there again!! I highly recommend the Nisqually Lodge!
Friendliness of staff .. made us feel very welcome and at home. We loved the cosiness of the lounge area in the foyer. The rooms, the foyer area were pristine. We would highly recommend this motel.
We would have liked to see two bedside tables - it irritates us when their is only one beside the queen beds
We enjoyed our stay, no complaints at all. The lodge is being updated starting in the lobby. This facility is well taken care of.
Very friendly staff, good size room, quiet location. Owners told me they are in the process of undating the rooms - assuming the price stays much the same, that will go along way to turning a "fair/good" value for money to an "excellent"
Creeking from ceiling joists as guest in the room above me moved around (I was on the ground floor)
Hot breakfast and spacious rooms. The complimentary glass of wine is a nice touch.
The stuff is not friendly, the price is high, no presentation room, needs more fruit for the breakfast.
Clean, friendly, comfy and quiet. Just perfect for very quick access to the park. A little basic, but does everything you need. Best nights sleep in ages.
Close enough to Rainier mountain.
A little bit like a motel
the same breakfast [sausage gravy] everyday
Breakfast was not very good. Didnt even provide beverages.
front desk staff (couple) was very friendly and responsive.
Refrigerator, microwave, table and chairs made eating in room easy if you plan ahead. Not much in town for vegetarians.
Toilet was a teensy smelly, but I have sensitive nose. Not an A+ resort. For the money and what is available nearby, this was an excellent choice.
Very nice lobby with a fire place!
I liked the quiet comfortable feel to the lodge. Very relaxing after a long day of hiking, and photo adventure. A nice hot breakfast to get the day going was a plus as well.
The only issue I had was the first night there I was charged an extra twenty dollars for the room. Something to do with a seasonal change. Wish Booking.com had known this and been a little more accurate in their price quote.
No problem in locating the place. Very quite, 30 mins away from trail starting point
Wifi would be a little better
Location was perfect if you want to climb Mount Rainier. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. Good Wi Fi connection and breakfast included was an added bonus.
Very welcoming and wine in the evening was an added bonus
Everything from the morning continental breakfast to the glass of wine in the evening. Thank you.
The position is excellent and the rooms are spacious.the breakfast is fairly basic but at least it's included in the room price. I would certainly return if staying in this area.
i loved the peace and quiet of the lodge, and the proximity to the park and restaurants.
The fact there is no restaurant, which I think most people would appreciate after a good day in the park, and some fresh fruit in the breakfast room would be better
