Location. Lovely rustic feel.
Under a mile from Wellspring where the family wedding was
Wi-fi was better than expected, not perfect throughout though
mattress fairly good breakfast, when available, was good easy wi-fi connection
Way too expensive Dangerous wiring Paper-thin walls Pathetic television connections No backup generator, even though they know that the power goes off several times a year
Great location for visiting the park. Diane was wonderful, good breakfast & wine in the evening is a nice touch
Friendly and helpful staff and wonderful location. Suggestion some fresh fruit included in breakfast.
Rooms were clean, staff helpfull and frendly, Beakfast was easy and fun.
Great reception staff (this woman seems to do everything at the hotel - give her a raise). Average rooms, a bit dated, but very clean. Nice breakfast, heavy on the carbs like most hotels. This place was cheaper & more comfortable than the Paradise Inn inside the park, and better service than Crystal Resort on the eastern side.
This is a really small town that closes up early - get here before restaurants close, and the grocery store (closes at 10 PM). Pillows were uncomfortable, a couple of harmless insects in the room.
Great place, great staff, nice breakfast.
Hot tubs would be a nice addition
- location (very close to the park entrance) - friendly staff (helped with baby bed, restaurant suggestions and maps) - big rooms - great value for the money - breakfast was ok for a lodge
- nothing to complain here, book it!
If you want a fine base to explore Rainier for a reasonable price, this is the one. Very friendly and personal welcome. Everything worked fast and efficient.
Do not expect something above the Motel standard for the Lodge.
breakfast, location, Sunday/Monday staff, pillows
a little noisy
The breakfast was good.
Friendly staff, decent breakfast, older facilities but very clean. Loved the free glass of wine they offer between 5-8 pm and the cozy fireplace in the lobby. It was a perfect and convenient stay for our Mt. Rainier visit, and close to good restaurants - we were recommended Copper Creek by the staff and it was excellent.
Location to Mt. Rainier Nat. Forest. Outside picnic area. lobby décor.
Carrying luggage up to second floor. No view from window.
Insufficient breakfast area during the busy period.
Near Mt. Ranier. comfortable & clean.
very good place with hot breakfast.

This lodge is a real gem from its setting and location right outside Mt Rainier National Park to the quiet, comfortable, spacious rooms. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We would highly recommend the Nisqually Lodge.
We had a room with a balcony. The lodge is only a few minutes from good restaurants and the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park.
We had a second floor room. There is no elevator.
Comfortable lounge with log effect gas fire, a welcome stopover on our trip.
