We paid $45 for king bed, free wifi, free parking, and free light breakfast delivered at our time of choosing. Clean room. Best deal ever!
There wasn't any shampoo in the bathroom.
very good value. I liked that there was a desk, couch, and kitchenette in the room. The bottle shop has a decent selection of beer, but not much in the way of cider or soda.
I was excited for the breakfast, which was delivered to our room in a little 2-way cubby. It turned out to be the most low-cost, low-quality options for each of the items we ordered, and so we didn't even bother to eat most of it. Considering many motels don't offer breakfast, that didn't take away from our experience much at all.
could not get the shower to work
Nothing. It was all good.
The location was great. Having the little store right there was nice also.
Mattresses needed to be a little more firm. The beds are more a 3/4 size instead of a full size. would stay again but would ask for the King bed and a cot for the third person.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, the room was very clean and the breakfast nook was a neat option. The price was very reasonable.
The room smelled quite musty, the picture on the t.v. was extremely fuzzy, and our room was next to a restaurant/bar and very noisy (all through the night we could hear people right outside our room!). All in all, night a very restful night. You get what you pay for.
This budget motel was exactly that, a very reasonably priced motel with all the basics...beds, bathroom, phone, tv, internet. Very helpful staff. Continental breakfast brought to your room (and left for you in a "breakfast compartment". Good location for Penn State events.
The only negatives were the "downscale" appearance of the motel "lobby" and a slightly musty smell in the room. You get what you pay for, and this place 'aint the Taj Mahal.
Breakfast was delivered to the room at no additonal cost. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I will definitely stay there again.
Courteous staff, continental breakfast available. Pet friendly.
The air conditioner had a leak and the carpet was wet. I am sure if I addressed it that evening we would have had our room moved.
Enjoyed the breakfast delivered to our room through an access door in wall. Front desk very friendly and helpful.
Staff were wonderfully helpful and responsive.
The place needs an overhaul, especially the bathroom needs a deep clean. The carpet seemed so damp we didn't want to walk on it. The mattress has seen better times.
Kathleen at the office was excellent, very nice and helpful. We were very surprised with a free breakfast delivered to our room. Room was very clean and comfortable with fridge and microwave. Excellent for a money. If in area again I would stay there definitely. 5 stars for service and value.
I got to State College after dark and got lost several times. I found myself in a large intersection and called the motel for help. Having received the present location, the night desk gave me perfect directions to the motel. I was so thankful! Eric
Staff was very nice. Breakfast was great!
The only problem was a slight musty odor, which cleared up with open window
The staff was super caring! Price was right. While there were no frills and things looked worn, it was clean. Included coffee/juice and pastry/bagel for breakfast.
Bedding, carpet, room decor needs refurbishment. Walls were thin and I could hear the man next door snoring.
For the price in this market, it is an excellent buy. Make no mistake -- it's not a $250/night Hilton, but it provided a very clean and quiet room with a good bed and a staff that made you feel welcome. For someone needing a good night's sleep in between 10-to-11 hour drives, it was perfect.
Really good little store attached to motel, & very quiet
When I booked the room it was only for 2 adults but, we ended up having to bring our kids, 3 & 5. That didn't make a bit of difference! The rooms are spacious and clean, lots of space to put things and a nice little kitchenette type spot! We will seriously never stay any where else when we stay for our annual week in State College!
Plenty of room, extra towels( not thick but fine plus face cloths) extra chairs, Flat screen TV, Long counter that has lots of room for two computer users. Microwave, fridge plenty of hangers. Breakfast delivered to your room- bagel and coffee but very clever delivery.
Price!!! Attached convenience store was great and staff very helpful and accommodating.
room had a slight funky smell, but I could live with it
Very clean, friendly, close to things, little cubby door for breakfast
coffee not very good but DD right next store at corner light
Very clean room and comfortable beds, not to mention the price.
Great value and comfort
This is the best budget priced motel that I can remember staying at and they are dog friendly.
Cost, room door easy access from car, location
interior seemed dated
