Score from 166 reviews Good
good ocean view.
Not clean. Several ants crawl on the bed. Couple spiders in bathroom.
It was a convenient location, and the continental breakfast was nicely set up. Plenty of pillows - thats a definite plus.
While on the ocean, which was super, there was no balcony to sit and watch the ocean, Window opened, but still was looking for that 'look - out'.
the only thing we had a problem with was we were handicapped, and we were put on the 3rd floor, and had to carry our things upstairs.
The view and access to the beach were beautiful. The pool was comfortable and fun.
We had a family gathering and the suite was a bit small for gathering everyone into.
Ocean front 1 bedroom suite
no couch, just table and 2 chairs. Chairs became uncomfortable after a while. I would never have cooked anything in the pans provided, nasty!
The view was excellent
Room was very small, front desk staff was hurried and gruff.
Get a clean place to watch the ocean and enjoy your stay. Staff is really helpful and swimming pool is great and out of the way. Parking is great.
King size bed next visit.
This was the worst stay we have ever had at any hotel. We booked for 3 nights. Upon arrival we went to our 2 queen room and decided we didn’t like it because it looked like had not been touched since 1985 even though the website said it had been recently renovated ( false advertising ) so we paid to upgrade to the Jacuzzi suite ( the best room they offer ) this was no better than the first room. The first thing we noticed was how dirty the windows were and upon looking around it just got worse, the blinds were broken, paint peeling off the walls, dead bugs filled the light fixtures, bed was awful, coffee pot had stains of who knows what on it, carpet was old as the hills and felt like you were walking on concrete. So after the first night my wife and daughter started to feel like they couldn’t really ever catch their breath when we came back to room and we kind of just blew it off but the second day when we woke up it was so bad that i started looking more and more. Low and behold there was MOLD all over the Jacuzzi area even though we had never even used it or turned it on. My wife is deathly allergic to mold so this was the final straw. I went down to the front desk and explained my wife and daughter were sick and would not be staying for the 3rd night. That’s when the attendant went into instant rude mode, instantly pulled out the invoice i had signed upon check in and said you can leave but you will be charged for all 3 nights, there was no I’m sorry or apologies of any sort, just if you have a problem with it you can call and talk to the manager tomorrow. The next day the manager called me and once again was rude right off the bat argued with me about everything saying i was basically lying about everything in the room ( even though i had pictures of it all ) and i got nowhere with her. Then after returning home and checking my credit card i was billed for all 3 nights along with two more charges that topped $391.
The location was awesome. I was impressed that you were always cleaning
The shower leaked onto the floor. The walkway going to the beach was really bad.It was very expensive on Saturday.would have liked to see a few more things for breakfast expescially some meat and potatoes and eggs
It was quiet at night. There is a great view.
The stairs to my room and to the beach.
the pool, the view, it was all good
no ac 80 degrees reuse of towels is not healthy
I loved the facility and it was very affordable. I wolud definitely be staying there again. The room was very clean and the view was phonominal.
I did not have a room with a balcony.
Location on the beach. Cleaning staff. Ample parking. Hard to be too objective since we were assigned the least acceptable room in the facility. (Not managements fault, the only one left when we reserved.)
Limited view. Crowded breakfast room. No screens on the windows. Stairs to beach need repair.
we liked having a kitchenette and fireplace and being right across from the pool. we asked for a rollaway after we checked in and it was very promptly delivered by a very friendly and happy employee...
Cant think of a negative think to say about the Nordic we have stayed there many, many times and will continue to do so....
I loved the full ocean view. So nice that the windows were clean (3rd floor) and the whole wall was huge windows that opened and you could sleep with the sound of the ocean. A nice little table and comphy chairs in front to have early morning coffee at.
No air conditioning. It was 90 degrees out....and even with our fan was very uncomfortable.
The view and ability to walk down to beach accessible.
Old smell to the room. Drywall on walls looked unfinished. No balcony off of room like we thought. Continental breakfast awful...muffins stale,no variety, only protein was yogurt, waffles stuck to grill and were doughy, terrible coffee, poor quality juice, grapes being preplucked from stem was absurd.
Location, view, free wi-fi, microwave and refrigerator included. We've stayed there many times over the past 10-15 years and always find the view so relaxing!
Pillow was a little too firm for me, didn't have a great night's sleep the first night.
All rooms at the hotel have a gorgeous ocean view. We stayed in the suite that has a Murphy bed and additional bedroom with one queen bed. There was enough room in the bedroom for our youngest's pack & play. Wifi connection was strong even with our room being a corner unit. Front Desk staff was friendly.
Property does not have elevators and although there are only three flights of stairs having to haul up all our belongings plus the kids was a bit cumbersome. My biggest complaint about the property is how difficult it is to get down to the beach. There are about six sets of winding "stairs" just to reach the ocean. I use the term "stairs" lightly because it's more like wood planks and jagged rocks that are intended to be stairs - very difficult for parents with little ones!
Proximity to ocean- ease of access-easy to find
wifi didn't work- pool closes when it would be most enjoyable and with no kids romping around would like late night access
Liked being Oceanfront. The view cannot be beat. The pool area was nice clean and warm. We also sat out on the sundeck reading books listening to the waves.
The Inn is right on the ocean-clear view of the surf. Room was large, 2 Q beds, big bathroom (a +), fridge for our leftovers from restaurants, easy to use gas fireplace. Lincoln City is the "Disneyland" of the Oregon coast.
Key for entry, a little hard to open door, but the staff explained the problems card entries have at the coast, salt air-etc., and it makes perfect sense to stay with keys!
Right on the water Nice breakfast Comfy bed
Breakfast was fine. Ocean View was great.
Noisy bedroom - water running constantly from above floor shower, toilet, sink etc. thought it was going to come through the walls. Could not sleep in the separate bedroom and our daughter went and spent the night with family. No bathroom in the pool area. Had to go back to room. Minimal Amenities - no lotion, no shower cap, small soap for shower. Office not open until 8:00 a.m. during the summer is ridiculous.
