It was right on the beach, great view. Stairs to the beach. Fairly quiet. Clean and the towels/washcloths were nice!
That breakfast ended at 9:30 and I missed it! Got there at 10:00. They should of informed us upon arrival. Noisy upstairs people.
Bedding was old and not fresh. Pillows stunk of bed head. Lady at front desk was very unfriendly.
the oceanvies from our window was great. access to the beach was OK
The room was so clean and and smelled nice and I did not want to get out of bed it was so comfortable. The view was perfect. The pool and hot tub are salt water not chlorine, love that! The staff were very helpful with a smile and the continental breakfast was more than I thought it would be, they had fresh waffles! Wish I could have stayed longer and will be coming back.
Continental breakfast was very convenient, we were really close to eh ocean, the room and pool was great!
The hotel staff were just kid of grumpy, not straight forward rude, but just... well they didn't like their jobs and you could tell,
view wonderful, room very clean, layout attractive
We were charged more than our confirmation said we would be charged. I do not like surprises nor deception. Also take your own pillows as these were flat and uncomfortable
My mom & I get away to the beach every year, but our 1st time staying at the NORDIC but definitely not our last. Clean comfortable room, well stocked kitchenette, warm indoor pool, easy beach access and great view of the beach from our 3rd floor room.
The front office staff could have been a little "warmer" and accommodating. Example: In order to get an extra blanket we had pick up from office ourselves. Staff wasn't rude but did walk that fine line. They could use a class on customer service and polishing their people skills.
View of the ocean from the room was awesome; loved watching the stormy weather. Loved getting up and watching the day arrive and fog lift. Liked the easy access from town. The Continental breakfast and cleanliness.
The access to the beach was great for my husband as he has no problem with many steps; but for those of us with limited mobility that mant steps is a real hardship. I did it but it would be better to have another way to the beach. Also the bed was too high and hard to get up on. Especially for short people who have back issues and can't jump up. Would have liked more coffee available. Otherwise great stay!
We love the view the bed is something you never want to come out of amazingly comfortable comparable rates as well
Well if I could change anything it would probably be a hot breakfast and more balconys but don't get me wrong this is minor stuff you won't want to come out of bed anyway when your looking at the ocean from bed
Ocean view. Good value for price
Noisy refrigerator in room
Space was quite good for one person -maybe 2, but would make it difficult for a body/floor workout which I need.
A screened window would help, be nice for some for some fresh air w/o concern for bugs, etc. One staff person could use some training/help with human friendliness. E.G. There's tide levels pamphlet, parking.
The view was beautiful
We lived the view we also liked using the pool.and sauna .and the continental breakfast was really nice
We had some noisy neighbors but they did quiet down
The pool was very very clean and warm. Beach access was not difficult and our room looked right over the beach. We really enjoyed our stay.
One office gal was super friendly, one was a grumpy pants.
The bathroom was very clean - looked like new shower surround and pristine bathtub.
good ocean view.
Not clean. Several ants crawl on the bed. Couple spiders in bathroom.
It was a convenient location, and the continental breakfast was nicely set up. Plenty of pillows - thats a definite plus.
While on the ocean, which was super, there was no balcony to sit and watch the ocean, Window opened, but still was looking for that 'look - out'.
the only thing we had a problem with was we were handicapped, and we were put on the 3rd floor, and had to carry our things upstairs.
The view and access to the beach were beautiful. The pool was comfortable and fun.
We had a family gathering and the suite was a bit small for gathering everyone into.
Ocean front 1 bedroom suite
no couch, just table and 2 chairs. Chairs became uncomfortable after a while. I would never have cooked anything in the pans provided, nasty!
The view was excellent
Room was very small, front desk staff was hurried and gruff.
Get a clean place to watch the ocean and enjoy your stay. Staff is really helpful and swimming pool is great and out of the way. Parking is great.
King size bed next visit.
This was the worst stay we have ever had at any hotel. We booked for 3 nights. Upon arrival we went to our 2 queen room and decided we didn’t like it because it looked like had not been touched since 1985 even though the website said it had been recently renovated ( false advertising ) so we paid to upgrade to the Jacuzzi suite ( the best room they offer ) this was no better than the first room. The first thing we noticed was how dirty the windows were and upon looking around it just got worse, the blinds were broken, paint peeling off the walls, dead bugs filled the light fixtures, bed was awful, coffee pot had stains of who knows what on it, carpet was old as the hills and felt like you were walking on concrete. So after the first night my wife and daughter started to feel like they couldn’t really ever catch their breath when we came back to room and we kind of just blew it off but the second day when we woke up it was so bad that i started looking more and more. Low and behold there was MOLD all over the Jacuzzi area even though we had never even used it or turned it on. My wife is deathly allergic to mold so this was the final straw. I went down to the front desk and explained my wife and daughter were sick and would not be staying for the 3rd night. That’s when the attendant went into instant rude mode, instantly pulled out the invoice i had signed upon check in and said you can leave but you will be charged for all 3 nights, there was no I’m sorry or apologies of any sort, just if you have a problem with it you can call and talk to the manager tomorrow. The next day the manager called me and once again was rude right off the bat argued with me about everything saying i was basically lying about everything in the room ( even though i had pictures of it all ) and i got nowhere with her. Then after returning home and checking my credit card i was billed for all 3 nights along with two more charges that topped $391.
The location was awesome. I was impressed that you were always cleaning
The shower leaked onto the floor. The walkway going to the beach was really bad.It was very expensive on Saturday.would have liked to see a few more things for breakfast expescially some meat and potatoes and eggs
