From booking on booking.com, I wasn't sure what to expect before we arrived. I thought Nordic Village Resort was a hotel, but I was very pleasantly surprised to arrive at a very roomy chalet hidden up on the side of a mountain. It was a two room condo that was absolutely perfect for the three of us, my husband, myself, and my seven year old son. We stayed on the ground floor level of a condo that was very quiet and private. You walked down the stairs to a spacious mud room where we kept all of our winter gear. The mud room then lead to the entrance of the condo which was a living room with a four person dining table, a TV, and a pull out queen sofa sleeper. It was perfect for my son to sleep on. That room had a small kitchen attached equipped with everything to cook whatever we wanted. There was a stackable washer and dryer that was $5 to use. The kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, a toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, glasses, silverware, plates, etc., everything that I needed to make us a huge breakfast on the morning we left. Off of the kitchen was a bathroom with a full vanity, jacuzzi that we could all fit into and a stand up shower that was a little small. I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness, and I had no complaints, it was very clean. The kitchen lead into a very roomy master bedroom with a queen size bed, TV, armour, and a gas fireplace that heated almost the whole space. There were sliding doors that opened onto a patio and a huge level space that over looked the White Mountains, the view was breathtaking. Every unit had a grill out back to use. My son absolutely loved it, he played out in the snow as we watched him from the master bedroom, staying warm by the fire. We stayed from Friday until Sunday, which wasn't long enough. You could drive down to the pool, which there were three or four on the property, including an outside heated pool, that we could swim in while it snowed, and a hot tub both in and outside as well.
