The hotel in and of itself was fine but...
To pay and to get refunds it's a pain.
The room was very large - maybe 600 sq ft - double sinks in the bathroom. Very tasteful restoration of an older building. Staff were very peasant and helpful. No food facilities available at the time of our stay and.... See didn't like.
No good restaurants or cafés in the area - just fast food outlets. This is in a section of the city that we found rather "dodgey" and I wouldn't want to be walking there at night.
The charm and deco of the old style building and facilities
There is no safe in the room. I had to take all my valuables with me. There is no Restaurant. Coffee in the room was very poor.
The location nearby banks, post office, and FeDex.
The noise outside over night pavement repair.
Very clean place...
The bed was comfortable
This hotel reeks with mysterious odor everywhere you go, the lobby, hall way, even the room. It's a mixture of dirty laundry, burned grease and low-quality cleaning chemicals. If you close your eyes when you walk into the lobby, you could be convinced that you are in a homeless shelter or a super cheap motel. The room was okay, super small with no view whatsoever. Again, you get what you pay for.
The cozy lounge area, humble sizes rooms and very clean beds.
The floor carpeting, they do not cover the entire room.
3 minutes to the metro station by Wilshire Ave. and the area full of companies and restaurants. Nice staff. Unique decoration that made your stay more interesting. Strongly recommended.
The elevator (interior) doesn't match the overall style of the hotel.
The location is very central and perfect for those wanting a more urban, diverse feel. It's right in Koreatown, ideal if you love Korean food (though there are other options too). The hotel is tastefully decorated and strikes a great balance between the older character of the building and modern amenities.
Parking is only valet but this is very common in Los Angeles. Bathroom may be a little small for some. There is no breakfast but you have Starbucks & other places 1 block away.
-clean room, nicely decorated -nice toiletries -close to the metro, shops and a mall
-asked for a room with a view, got one facing a noisy back alley -no safe, no closet - not much to see around, would not recommend the area if you are a tourist
Room was clean, bathroom was neat.
Bed was too hot for my taste.
The location was pretty good.
No in house catering, restaurant or facilities for breakfast.
Very helpfull friendly staff. Comfortable bed and great well decorated rooms.
The lack of a bar/restaurant in the hotel
- friendly staff - very big room - clean
- no breakfast - fitness room not in hotel (a few blocks from hotel) - noise from the street (no isolated windows) - expensive parking
wifi and coffee facilities nice friendly helpful staff
no breakfast or restaurant but this is being resolved. noisy neighbours both nights, walls pretty thin so you hear TV and talking!
The lobby and room were tastefully decorated. Only 5 mins walks to the Wilshire/Normandie metro. If you like Kerean food, there are many Korean restaurant around.
The hotel does not have a visible sign as the taxi driver could miss it easily
very nice and quiet
the location parking costs 29$ per day
- Good location close to the metro Purple line. - Quiet surroundings. - Outstanding building in an otherwise pretty architecturally boring city
- Will be even better when the inhouse restaurant opens
Staff was very friendly and the valet was super nice.
Our wi-fi code was not working.
Very nice spacious junior suite with two windows. I would definitely stay there again.
I had problems connecting to the wifi but it was probably just me.
Every staff member we met from Valet, Reception to Room Maid were extremely polite and accommodating. Willing to go the extra mile
Koreatown is certainly not the best part of LA. The local dining options are not great and the hotel still has not finished the renovations that I hope will address this issue
The rooms were great - we arrived well before check in time and straight after a 14hr flight. The staff checked us in and upgraded the room!!
The location was a little deceiving it was a bit far out so had to spend a bit on cabs - but getting used to the buses was easy
Stayed twice in little over a month. Very good feel and excellent service from staff - they were all so helpful.
