Location, staff, food
Air conditioning in room rather noisy
Beautiful grounds, quiet location, quaint elegance. The restaurant served fabulous food with the most beautiful views! I will certainly return. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.
Wonderful location with a lot of alternatives for activities - or just rest by the pool
The AC in the room made too much noise
View Location Cleanliness Food
You can tell that they pick thier staff carefully. All very friendly & helpful. We managed to get the only room with a balcony so that made a big difference too. It has great views. Highly recommended.
What I liked best is that the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The beds were wonderful and the food was very good. We would stay here again and my family can be very picky.
The only thing we did not like was we did not feel comfortable swimming in the pool or using the hot tub because there were babies in both that were wearing diapers. There really should be a sign stating no babies in the hot tub.
Delicious full course meals. Beautiful dining room. Beautifully landscaped grounds. Friendly staff.
Having to leave!
Big rooms Good service and reception Flexibel golf shop Nine (holes), wine and dine arrangement
The accommodations and the staff, the food was very good and the location was just enough out of the town that made the visit and easy one
The front desk check in girl. The rest of the staff was amazing, Daisy and Kim!!!
The seneory what you have to offer and nice staff.
Paying so much for a meal when it wasn't worth the price.
Location and scenery were magnificent. Every staff member that we encountered was helpful and courteous and happy!
Beds were uncomfortable. Rooms a bit small. Pool was very cloudy and dirty with grass ,leaves, bugs I wanted to get my own net to skim the pool!
Waking up every morning having breakfast overlooking the mountains, everything about this hotel was excellent
Location was fantastic! The trails around the hotel were beautiful. Close to town and Mt. Washington.
Restaurant was very pricey. Hot tub could have been cleaner. Air conditioner in room was very loud.
Gentleman that brought our bags to the room and was taking care of the fire pit was very nice. View was beautiful. Breakfast buffet was great.
Entrance was not well marked. We arrived in the evening and had a tough time finding the hotel. Air conditioning was old and did not work well. I would have liked more notice of the ending of the breakfast buffet on Sunday. Customer service could have been better. We had a death in the family and needed to switch the reservation. I got two answers and was unable to switch the date s.
Proposed to my girlfriend during my stay . Everyone was more than accomodating . The entire experience from the food to the room to the scenery makes this a must return for us for the rest of our lives ....thank you
The food was good and dinner staff very friendly. It was nice and quiet with great views
The room was freezing when we arrived and we couldn't figure out the wall unit to increase the temperature.
The fact that on your site or theirs it advertised Tennis court available first come first serve. So I invited friends to play this past thursday. But, when I arrived, I found out that the court was not playable. Hadn't been played on for over ayear or so.do to the fact that I chose this place over others made me upset. When I approached the front desk staff about the ad. They said they removed it a year ago. This did not happen. Because I saw it on the internet. There was no compensation for their error. Needless to say I cancelled my tennis time with my friends. Total embarrasment.
We liked the setting, decor and friendliness of all the staff. Our dinner in the Tavern was absolutely delicious and Christopher, our waiter was wonderful. Loved the luxurious feeling of the bed and pillows! And we loved the silence....was very quiet and peaceful with an amazing and relaxing view of the mountains in the distant.
We didn't like the fact that we only got to stay there for one night!! Would have loved to stay longer! Thank you!
Food was great!
The seafood night at Ledges Restaurant was amazing. I had shrimp & lobster ravioli which was amazing and my boyfriend had the veal oscar which was to die for for. Cooked perfectly with a large lobster claw on top. Bar service and drinks were also great. The grounds were beautiful and it was in a great location near shops, Diana's Bath Falls as well as Cathedral Ledge, all of which we enjoyed.
The jacuzi was broken during our stay which was very dissapointing. The outdoor pool and jacuzi were two of the reasons we chose to stay here. Also our room had two full sized beds instead of queen beds which we thought we had booked. Our room was located on the first floor and we were woken up at 7 am both Saturday and Sunday morning by the people with the room above us. It sounded like they were about to come through the ceiling they were so loud.
Beautiful location, has a nice old world feel. It was nice to have the bar or restaurant option to eat .
Common areas were a little worn , could use an update, strange smokey smell in the lobby. Continental breakfast was confusing, but was good.
Location and country atmosphere!
Accomodation & location was excellent.
The staff was very friendly and helpful
The bed was very uncomfortable
