Location Staff was awesome Cleanliness ++ Bed was awesome Nice amenities
Thought there would be a reasonably priced breKfast or a free breakfast
The location is very convenient
Paid extra fir a room with hit tub which did not work when I told the front desk no apology or credit onthe room staff was all around horrific. At check in I was mearly handed the key to room with out any instructions on how to get there.
Pools indoor/out, children's area and convenient to outlets. Beds were comfortable... typical hotel room paying for convenience....
Sinks/counters in room really need refurbishing, new faucet covers (green is not a good thing to look at). Bathroom public near desk needs new water stoppers. don't like looking at rust etc... for the Money I expected better upkeep but with that many rooms I'm sure it is difficult to keep up......
I love this get away with my family
The cost was a little high. The room was just okay
Poor quality waiter Food quality disappointing Noisy
Staff was great! Room was very clean and bed was comfy!
Inside pool smelled like the pool had way to much chlorine. The night life was very limited and the bar/lounge not very inviting.
Location and decor.
The restaurant had a long wait Even though the restaurant was half empty.
The room was a good size, beds were comfortable, and shower was very good. Staff at front desk was friendly and helpful. The closeness to outlets was nice and it was just a short drive to downtown.
Being right opposite the elevator doors, which caused noise right outside our door, and the elevator bell ringing late at night and early in the morning was unpleasant.
All the outlets in walking distance
Beautiful central location for village and surrounding countryside. Helpful staff and excellent value for money
Children enjoyed the free ice cream and movies in the evenings. Rooms were clean and well furnished.
can't think of a thing.
This was my second time at The Grand and both experiences were good. The location is excellent if you are there to shop which I was! The bathroom was clean and modern.
The hotel decor is a bit tired.
naturally beautiful mountain
Everything! The rooms were amazing, spacious. The beds were so comfortable. I loved how the rooms all came with DVD players and you could borrow movies if you wanted to from the hotel collection. Not that we did we were to busy in the pool. The zero entry children's pool was a plus since we were traveling with a small child. Next time we will definately attend one of the movies in the movie theater and try to hit up the spa but there was only so much time! Plus since the outlets felt like they were attached to the hotel definately plus. Truly the best place for a family vacation!
Location was ok
Never before have I paid so much for a hotel room and had so little sleep. It isn't clear in the description but this hotel is totally geared towards children and families, of which we had neither. There are numerous children-related activities every day and we heard screaming and/or running around at all hours of the day and night. Never again!
We have stayed many times at the North Conway Grand and have always love it's proximity to both shopping and outdoor activities. We love the pool as well as the ping pong tables outside.
The price is ridiculously jacked up on long weekends even IF booked months in advance. Service is poorer, long line ups at check in and out as well as the pool is closed even if many people are in it later and being respectful of noise, etc. Forget sleeping in as the staff have zero control over parents who allow their small children to scream all night and run the halls in the wee hours of the morning. For the money I pay, I expect better. We found a great old inn up the road 5 min that was 1/3 the price, on the Saco River AND provided free canoe whenever you want to use it. If the Grand charges double then they should provide double the regular service and extras. I had $200 extra in my pocket to shop the outlets by cancelling my 2nd nights stay. I won't likely stay at the Grand again.
Plenty of room for my big family, Restaurant was wonderful, Pools and grounds were beautiful! Would stay here again!
Beds were not vacuumed properly underneath, Hair dryers were not cleaned of hair, Ceiling paint was peeling in the bathroom.
Nice hotel, clean room. Good location.
Breakfast was awful and expensive.
The proximity to shopping was excellent. Also the massage therapist was wonderful.
There were a lit of kids running and yelling in the hall. Also, the pillows were not firm enough so I purchased pillows for my second night's sleep. You should let housekeeping know they need to vacuum under the bureau.
Location was great
the carpet in our hallway was never vacuumed while we were there kind of dirty
The location was handy. The room was a good size and clean.
The reception was understaffed. We were surprised that breakfast was not included as the room was expensive
This hotel is a little expensive but it was very clean, the staff was great and having the restaurant on site was important for us. Also being so close to the outlets was nice. We would definitely stay here again.
almost everything..good workout facility..nice people efficient
parking was not too bad, but could be closer. Not starting breakfast until 7 am.
The on-site restaurant was nice - my husband enjoyed a late evening meal there. My son liked the ice-cream social. The beds were comfortable.
Staying on the first floor was noisy and made me feel like I was in a motel instead of an expensive hotel. There were no tissues replaced in the bathroom during our whole stay. The outdoor hot tub wasn't much warmer than the swimming pool, the firepit featured mice running back and forth between holes in the rock wall. The front desk told us the indoor pool was open until 9pm so we skipped dinner to go there since we got back from Santa's Village at 7:30pm but it didn't close at 9 - I asked another employee at the pool what time it was closing and he said 11.
