nothing at all!
The host Gary and hostess Cindy were amazing. Kind, talented and hard working, these two were the icing on the cake.
We enjoyed everything about the stay though we were only there one night. Staff were very attentive and the rooms were delightful. Great location to be near the Asheville downtown scene and to the Biltmore estate
No complaints at all! Everything was great!
The innkeeper Greg and his staff were outstanding! The breakfast was top notch! Couldn't ask for better hospitality.
The staff, room, breakfast pretty much the whole experience.
Great host made us feel welcome. We loved the breakfast in the morning. Great Bed, very comfortable
Great host, located in residential area don't let that change your mind. Beautiful spacious room-Magnolia. Great location to all activities
Great bed and breakfast. ...wonderful host. ..would highly recommend
We will be back....Thank you and Merry Christmas
absolutely everything !! wonderful food; beautiful grounds ; chariming, well done rooms. A true delight.
Breakfast was delicious. Fireplace in room was romantic. Complimentary sodas and snacks were a delightful surprise. HD TV in room.
Our TV did not work.
Our room was very small but comfortable. It was very clean and the food was good.
No complaints at all very well accommodated.
Everything was excellent best bed and breakfast we have stayed at by far.
Shower was not user-friendly, but even so, it was part of a claw-footed tub with a large shower head and plenty of water pressure, so I try not to complain too much.
Location was very central to town, but still felt secluded enough for privacy Inn was warm and inviting, with quaint, clean rooms, classical music playing softly, and fresh-baked cookies ready on arrival. Breakfast was divine.
Property was immaculately clean, cozy, and cute without being overly "adorable". Food was amazing (still thinking about how good that bacon was... a month later). Greg was very welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Breakfast ! It was an excellent meal to start the day.Greg's hospitality was wonderful, very welcoming. The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We will definitely book here again.
Lots of nice little touches that felt like luxuries; fresh cookies, robes in the rooms, selections of books for reading and DVDs for viewing, bowls of chocolates, Keurig machine set up all day, delicious breakfasts.... I was especially impressed that in a house that old, the sound proofing was good and all the plumbing was great. It was lovely to have a hot shower with great water pressure in a claw foot tub.
We had the very top room with a balcony overlooking beautiful gardens and gazebo. It was nice to have a glass of wine out on the balcony enjoying the view. The breakfasts were fantastic! We had our own coffee maker and fridge in our room, lots of storage space with 2 oversized chairs to lounge in. We enjoyed a very large king bed. We stayed here 3 years ago, but loved it even more since we had one of the larger rooms.
Home was beautiful and spotless proprietor was very nice and friendly.
The quality of the inn, staff and food
The chore of lugging our stuff up three flights to our third floor room was more than offset by the beauty, comfort and size of the Marsh Room.
The North Lodge is a wonderful place. Our room and bath were spacious and very comfortable. Greg, the owner-operator, serves a superb breakfast each morning. The amenities, such as a refrigerator in the room, were thoughtfully arranged and convenient. This is the best B&B we've ever used.
One of the Best B & Bs we have ever visited. Helpful and friendly staff, excellent accommodations, and a wonderful breakfast.
A lot of road construction .A bit of a challenge to get around in town.
Greg is a wonderful innkeeper , gave great ides and direction of places to eat and see . The room was nice bed was fine .Would return.
every thing about this place is positive but its the details like quality tea and coffee facilities, access to fridge with free sodas ,cookies on the side in dining room, advice on where to go.a well managed place that the owner takes a great deal of pride in.
It is in a non-descript residential area abutting some office buildings. Breakfast is at 9 AM which means a late start to the day. B- on area surroundings, timing of breakfast.
This is a beautifully restored home. The bedrooms are all excellently furnished and have a small refrigerator in case you want to bring wine or take leftovers back after dinner. There is a refrigerator & ice machine downstairs with a supply of soft drinks, etc. The breakfast is wonderful and Greg, the owner is an excellent host. It is a quick 5 minutes (or less) to downtown where most all the restaurants, shops are located. A+ on facilities, staff, comfort, convenience to downtown. Definitely worth a stay.
We were hoping to enjoy walks from the lodge but the immediate surroundings were not attractive for strolling.
The inn keeper was charming and very pleasant. Lodge is beautiful and immaculate.
The sounding neighborhood.
The high quality of the sheets on the bed. It was super comfortable.
