The situation and the facilities
It was not very clean. The heat air was very noisy.
quiet , comfortable,
house keeping fees too high. no wifi or tv instructions
Excelent location, very nice place, confortable, very close every things
Bad experience ever
Excellent location, trains, attractions and restaurants
Room could have used a better cleaning, bed was a bit too firm. My biggest issue was noise both from other units and the internal mechanical ventilation system which kept me up at night.
Big and spacious with a kitchen and living room
Creepy hallways and elevator, early checkout time, my room key didn't work multiple times and I had to go back to front desk from 20th floor. One can easily get a brand hotel with all the hotel services for this much of price. It's only suitable for a large group of students or young people who can share the price and want to cook there.
Clean room, good location.
The free wifi is unsecured and there's basically no cell phone reception in the building. Can't believe we have to wash and put away all dishes ourselves and even take out our own trash even though they already charge a separate cleaning fee. The deceivingly cheap room rate they charge does not include this cleaning fee. And they even want to charge extra if you forget to leave them the electric key (which was just a cheap credit card like key) when you check out.
Location WIFI layout and cosiness of apartment
Hidden costs (tax and cleaning fee of $120) not mentioned anywhere in the ad, and also not included in the final booking reference which makes the invoice useless.
Cheap and nasty and would never stay there again. Nasty.
Building is older & classic. Has been remodeled but kept the luxury of the old style. Staff was friendly, if you said hello first. Was very convenient to Millenium Park, Miracle Mile & all points downtown. Really enjoyed it.
No parking. Had to use city lot which was VERY expensive.
Location was great, a bit confusing to find but all good once you did. Room had all that you need without being spectacular. Very clean and tidy and nice kitchen facilities if that's what you're after.
Room very noisey, aircon unit unusable unless you sleep with ear muffs! Fridge very loud, and when you turn all those off you've still got to compete with a constant motor outside the window!
Location was perfect!
Heating was fixed. Our room was a constant 77 degrees. Keeping windows open for air made our over the "L " train room position unbearably noisy. The room was not cleaned to justify a $120 charge for each stay. Maintenance is an issue but you are told not to report any issues to persons at apartment as they are not employees, but rather given an emergency number in L.A.
SP suites located in Fornelli hall. The bigger part of tower is dorm. We booked studio apartment (kitchen and bed in one room). Generally, it is ok if you don't wanna care about host. Very close to Bean, Art Museum, Lake and other points and Metra. However, I'm grateful to staff to return my lost passport!
Small room, old furniture, look worse than on a photo. Too expensive for this room.
Dirty and not well equipped
Excellent location, great facilities, very helpful door staff, clean and very comfortable. Would def stay there again
The noise from the L train was very very loud!! All night, some warning would of been nice, as travelling with a baby.
nice apartment good wifi nice location
very noisy due to near train air condition is not good direct tv subscription not of value or interest charge much for cleaning after you leave no cleaning during stay charge very much taxes not included in the booking search one room with a bath the main without payment equals a near by hotels with good facilities
Strictly speaking of dollar for location, it was a good find
It was oppressively hot - 85 degrees with the windows as far open as they would go (2 inches) and the very loud ventilation fan running. The vent cover over the fan was filthy.
the location to downtown was amazing
Check in time was specifically noted as 4:30 p.m. and not a minute earlier….the "list" did not come down until 5:00 pm. and the attitude was okay, so what I don't have a list. The front desk lost the two keys we left for our kids and had to make new ones. The closets in our room were broken, we were charged $120 for a cleaning fee, but needed to be sure we took all the trash to the trash bin or we would have been charged an additional 8%. The advertisement was truly misleading.
I had a one bedroom apartment which was ideal for myself.
I requested an early check in when I arrived I was told no to the check in so I showed them my booking request which stated an early check in was OK. Room wasn't ready so was told house keeping would clean it immediately. An hour later I was told management said I couldn't check in and had to wait till 4.30pm. There was plenty to do and see so I wasn't hanging around but the whole check in thing was a bit if a joke, when I eventually checked in the room key didn't work so it was a bit if a pain going up and down the lift with luggage in tow to get a key. I was given a master key to access the room and asked to bring it back to the reception once I had opened the door which I agreed to but I needed the bathroom so before I had time to return it the lady on the reception was banging in the door and was very rude to me. No toilet roll in the bathroom so take your own. A/C was very noisy and had to turn it off in the night.
It was spacious enough, the bathroom and fixture dated but functional
2 coffee cups for 4 people!!! Bad fitting bed sheets No hair drier eventuates after 4 days of trying and then we left !!
Location super super Bad, bath, kitchen super Price sup:)
Internet, TV, aircondition fair
*Location, Location, Location *The reception staff were friendly
*Hairs in the bed *Cleanliness of the bathroom
The location is excellent; as the name states it is very close to Millennium Park. The old building is a gem; the lifts are scary though.
We booked this on the travellers whim of serendipity and was indeed surprised by what we found! The bed was made with DIRTY laundry and a bed spread still containing other people's hair! We requested clean sheets, yet at a great expense to ourselves went to buy clean bedding and towels also as we were not trusting those either (luckily Macy's had a 1 day only sale on our arrival). We opted to take in as much of this great city as possible, and kept sleeping there to a minimum. We did not expect a hotel concierge but the security guard that assisted with the checking in can at least be friendlier.
