We stayed with friends in a 3 bedroom apartment. The price was very good, and the location is incredible!! The apartment was modern, well furnished and fairly spacious. It really helped make our Chicago weekend very enjoyable!!
Great location in The Loop Decent sized room with sufficient amenities Good value for money
Kitchen could have been cleaner Carpets were not vacuumed in a while
This place is a DUMP! Worst experience ever!! The room smelt like mold and mildew, i could not stay in the room, still trying to get my money back!!! No Wi-Fi signal, no on site staff once you raise an issue you never get a call back. Steer clear of this place!
The location (right near the Bean) is excellent. The room is large and clean. Large fridge, lots of kitchen accessories.
My room on the 21st floor was very noisy due to some always working devices, TV didn't work and nobody came to help with it. Air-conditioner didn't work - fortunately it was rather cold outside so I just opened my window. There was no kettle. Some shelf doors were broken. No writing table.
The location it was really good The room is big n comfy
The sound of the train every 5min is terrible The sound of the A/C it was terrible, you wake up every 10min at night The day you have the train n the night you have the a/c With few world you can't relax n can't sleep
Dirty shabby furniture terrible beds
The location was brilliant, couldn't have been in a better place. Security staff on front desk very helpful.
Trains go past window until 2 am and start again around 4:30 5 am. If claim a $US120 fee to clean room was not remotely clean when moved in. Under beds and inside of couch very poorly cleaned. Wardrobe doors broken. Asked for a third bed and advised would be provided. Took 2 days to get it. Almost impossible to find anyone except security staff who take messages. Unhappy as room was booked on basis of pay upon arrival. Took money 2 weeks before I arrived.
Location was good for the event we were there for & close to some nice spots for sight seeing
Building not even labeled as SP Suites, security staff at front desk next to useless, booking agent messed up the reservation and could not even be contacted, kitchen in the unit very run down & no utensils
Amazing location. Good home base for a lot of going out and seeing the city. The doormen/women are friendly and helpful. Most of the furnishings and decorations are modern and stylish. It was affordable for an extended stay right where we wanted to be.
Carpets are really dated, bathtub is tiny, room is very small and has a bit of an awkward layout, took forever to get the TV to work, had to buy our own toilet paper because there was only one roll (and they don't have regular room service), not enough towels for an extended stay, and the window of our studio faced inward towards the center of the building so that our only view was the other internal walls and windows of the other apartments.
The situation and the facilities
It was not very clean. The heat air was very noisy.
quiet , comfortable,
house keeping fees too high. no wifi or tv instructions
Excelent location, very nice place, confortable, very close every things
Bad experience ever
Excellent location, trains, attractions and restaurants
Room could have used a better cleaning, bed was a bit too firm. My biggest issue was noise both from other units and the internal mechanical ventilation system which kept me up at night.
Big and spacious with a kitchen and living room
Creepy hallways and elevator, early checkout time, my room key didn't work multiple times and I had to go back to front desk from 20th floor. One can easily get a brand hotel with all the hotel services for this much of price. It's only suitable for a large group of students or young people who can share the price and want to cook there.
Clean room, good location.
The free wifi is unsecured and there's basically no cell phone reception in the building. Can't believe we have to wash and put away all dishes ourselves and even take out our own trash even though they already charge a separate cleaning fee. The deceivingly cheap room rate they charge does not include this cleaning fee. And they even want to charge extra if you forget to leave them the electric key (which was just a cheap credit card like key) when you check out.
Location WIFI layout and cosiness of apartment
Hidden costs (tax and cleaning fee of $120) not mentioned anywhere in the ad, and also not included in the final booking reference which makes the invoice useless.
Cheap and nasty and would never stay there again. Nasty.
Building is older & classic. Has been remodeled but kept the luxury of the old style. Staff was friendly, if you said hello first. Was very convenient to Millenium Park, Miracle Mile & all points downtown. Really enjoyed it.
No parking. Had to use city lot which was VERY expensive.
Location was great, a bit confusing to find but all good once you did. Room had all that you need without being spectacular. Very clean and tidy and nice kitchen facilities if that's what you're after.
Room very noisey, aircon unit unusable unless you sleep with ear muffs! Fridge very loud, and when you turn all those off you've still got to compete with a constant motor outside the window!
Location was perfect!
Heating was fixed. Our room was a constant 77 degrees. Keeping windows open for air made our over the "L " train room position unbearably noisy. The room was not cleaned to justify a $120 charge for each stay. Maintenance is an issue but you are told not to report any issues to persons at apartment as they are not employees, but rather given an emergency number in L.A.
SP suites located in Fornelli hall. The bigger part of tower is dorm. We booked studio apartment (kitchen and bed in one room). Generally, it is ok if you don't wanna care about host. Very close to Bean, Art Museum, Lake and other points and Metra. However, I'm grateful to staff to return my lost passport!
Small room, old furniture, look worse than on a photo. Too expensive for this room.
