noice in the room
Just be aware that this is NOT a hotel with daily services and a concierge desk (this is also made very clear when booking/confirming the rooms). If you simply want a place to rest your head and use the place as more of a "landing pad", this is a good solution. Awesome location, centrally located to Millenium Park, the museums, Magnificent Mile, and rail access. It was very easy to get around. In the room (2bed/2bath) there was a full-size refrigerator, sink, microwave, and coffee maker... also an iron and hair dryer. It was nice to know there were laundry facilities around the corner from our room.
The only thing is the early check-out time of 10am. If you're flying later in the afternoon, make plans for stowing your luggage... which you can do in the lobby of the building, but it's not secure so at your own risk. (We didn't have a problem with this, there's security personnel seated close-by). Not that it bothered us much, but the building is older with thinner walls and non-soundproof windows. We were on the 19th floor and still heard the el-train, but so tired from running around we slept right through it. Lighter sleepers may have a harder time with this. There were some repair issues with our room (closet doors, toilet roll holder), but it's a simple call to the management company to let them know about it... again, it wasn't going to ruin our stay.
Amazing location, spacious apartments
Dirty, kitchen was greasy, some lights breakers were out of order, bedclothes was old, yellow and tear.
The location was AMAZING!!! The room itself was small but we knew that going into it and were still surprised by how well they made the small space work to include a kitchen in it. The bed was super comfortable which also surprised me.
The only down fall to our stay was that our room was at a constant 72 degrees. We tried to crack the windows and turn down the thermostat but nothing we did worked. I don't know if it had to do with having the appliances in the room or the fact that we were on the 19th floor of the building or maybe a combo of a few things but that part was a little uncomfortable at times.
In the middle of all the great restuarants, shopping and night life. One block from the park where the jazz festival was held. Everything was good.
Name was not on registration log. luckily I had printed a copy of registration confirmation. Cant check in until 4:30 on the DOT, very inconveint. Very small room and one bed, thought I was getting double bed but had to get around in tight space
Position within the Chicago loop, a lot of space, big fridge,
Most of the bulbs were not functional
TV Kitchen set
Everything expect location Dirty Untidy very hot AC noisy bad staff communication bad staff attitude expensive I really don't want to waste more time putting my review, its the worst place ever. I don't recommend anyone to go except if you are not going to sleep or stay
Excellent location, good bed, good kitchen utilities, very spacious apartment
Terrible air conditioning, even thought they charge you a cleaning fee the room should have been more clean. You could hear the metro tracks.
The receptionists were not friendly The service was poor. I complained of burnt bulbs which were not changed. Instead bulbs were brought to the apartment for me to change. The kitchen was a mess. The stove was dirty, the toaster was faulty, the coffee maker was bad, the vacuum cleaner was inoperable so could not clean the room.
We liked where all was centrally located. We liked the bed. We liked the speed of the elevator.
#1.....the poor response to my emails and phone calls. The latter included being transferred to a recording that phone was disconnected. The failure of communication gave me the fear the apartment was a scam. #2.... The really bad toilet paper. It was a half ply, if that. Really cheap! #3..... The last was poor reception for the TV, looked rough at best.
The staff were horrible. They lost our deliverd shipments and they were of any support to find them. The AC had a horrible loud voice. Kitchen tools were plastic! The location is great and the apartment is big enough
Perfectly located next to millenium park with easy reach to all sights. Nice, comfy room, lovely to have a fridge and kitchen for eating in. Place felt secure. Great wi-fi connexion. Would go there again, much better than a hotel!
Not the best aircon and windows didnt close, but these where minor things, really loved my stay.
The location is excellent
poor housekeeping, poor facility, no services. There is no staff to response to your request for services. You have to call a number; however no body answered
You could see Millennium park from the hotel if you stood right outside of the hotel. Great cafe's walking distance and bus stops right outside of the hotel. My fiancee and I loved the room (yes it was small) but the bed was amazingly comfortable. And when you're in Chicago you don't just stay in the hotel the whole time so it was perfect for rest and then we were off. Very friendly staff. Also we arrived late off the train (ogilvie train station) from the train to the hotel the cab ride was less than 10$!
The only thing that aggravated my fiancee was the batteries in the remote died and the staff couldn't replace the batteries.
Location and convenience
Key cards is not work and needed to be reconfigured everyday
The location is the best thing about this place. Excellent. It was very good to have 2 bathrooms for our 2 BR unit.
One of the showers dripped constantly so that we had to put a towel under it so as not to hear the constant drip drip sound. There were no bath mats. And one of the towels had a stain on it. In the kitchen, there were only 2 cups in an apartment for 4 people. The glasses were not clean. There was a tiny ironing board, but no iron. There was no hair dryer. The Loop is just a block away and the trains make quite a bit of noise. With earplugs, it was not too bad. The bedding was minimal. Each person got just one thin pillow and a thin blanket.
The staff at sp suites was excellent and very helpful when our reservation got mixed up.
The apartment was filthy. Half of the lights didn't work, there was mold in the bathrooms and the sheets were stained. I would not stay here again.
The location was great, right next to Millenium Park. The bed was super comfortable. It was great to have a living room to come home to at the end of the day with plenty of room for my husband and two teens.
It had a bit of a dorm feel to it, but I knew when I booked it that it wasn't a luxury suite. There were loud city noises, but I slept through it all. It was informal with polite people around. I'd book it again.
The location was amazing. I loved having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We would stay there again
Some room darkening drapes would be a nice addition. You can here the 'L' - but I could sleep through it.
location decent price water pressure was great in shower
parking situation was horrible and expensive # of beds not what we ordered
Great location, central for everything.
Poor owner response to dealing with problems, plenty of excuses and no action. No curtains in master bedroom and one blind totally missing, no clean towels, no toilet paper etc etc. Also its very close to the railway so its very noisy also. I do not recommend this apartment.
