when we arrived there was clothing and belongings of someone else in the room that consisted of: dry cleaning and paper bags with clothing and other things in them, within the room. While staying there we tried to turn on the television but the screen was black. So, we tried to reset it and use the menu. We called their customer service number and they told us they were going to send the housekeeping. When housekeeping arrived they said they had no idea what to do and would not touch it. So, we spent our entire time there with no television. The drinking glasses that were provided by SP Suites in the cupboards had not been cleaned properly. They were filthy. Each glass had a line inside of it, marking where grease had stood in water, inside of the glasses, for a long period of time. Also, the dishes were not cleaned properly either as they had a greasy film on them.
location, kitchen and price are great
wifi was a bit slow
Location and the fact that we were allowed to check in early
Apartment was dirty, l mean there was human hair all over the bathrooms and floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned for like a week, staff was not friendly at all....l would've expected something like that from a Motel 6
Nice to have a fridge and microwave!
No extra pillows in the room. None of the lights in the closet worked. There was storage stuff in the room behind a corner...
It was central to lots of things.
This place is grossly over rated! It is dirty, many things are broken, the kitchen is I'll equipped. For example our bedroom door had been kicked in near the lock. Many of the light bulbs were broken. It is Extremely Noisy! Especially at midnight when the trains go past. But most of all it is Student Accommodation for the near by University. So stay clear! Would not have minded the experience so much if I had not paid really good money for a 2 bedroom apartment.
Rooms & building is good. location is right in the core.
we stayed there 4 nights. no one came for room service. we had to call for room service & hours for room service is only till 9/10 in the morning. who wakes up that time when one is on holidays. Really disappointed
heater is super loud.
cutting knife and board should be there
Location is perfect. Kitchen let you organize meals at your own way.
Cleaning fee is not clear explained. It is high (120$), then total rate is not worthy yet. Be aware of this extra charge!
The price looked cheap but when booked i realised there was a MASSIVE cleaning surcharge to be added which made the overal price more than some 4* hotels. I wouldnt have cared if the apartment was actually clean. The cleanliness in no way matched the price charged for it. The bathroom was actually dirty and had not been hoovered. There is no reception desk to welcome you or offer any assistance etc - only security staff who just want to see your ID and that is it. so if you care about having a reception desk for info or help etc think twice about this place and Please read the small print on cheeky cleaning charges.
Didn't have to bring any kitchen supplies
It was hard to keep the living room warm. Needed more dishes.
the final price is not the price in the booking page because fees to clean the kitchen must be paid, european travellers must also remember to pay the state fee. Another fact I did not find too friendly was. the check in time is 1630 and check out time is 1000
I did not like the constant heaters going. The temperature was preset to an uncomfortable level. I felt like I should not mess with the thermostat.
We stayed with friends in a 3 bedroom apartment. The price was very good, and the location is incredible!! The apartment was modern, well furnished and fairly spacious. It really helped make our Chicago weekend very enjoyable!!
Great location in The Loop Decent sized room with sufficient amenities Good value for money
Kitchen could have been cleaner Carpets were not vacuumed in a while
This place is a DUMP! Worst experience ever!! The room smelt like mold and mildew, i could not stay in the room, still trying to get my money back!!! No Wi-Fi signal, no on site staff once you raise an issue you never get a call back. Steer clear of this place!
The location (right near the Bean) is excellent. The room is large and clean. Large fridge, lots of kitchen accessories.
My room on the 21st floor was very noisy due to some always working devices, TV didn't work and nobody came to help with it. Air-conditioner didn't work - fortunately it was rather cold outside so I just opened my window. There was no kettle. Some shelf doors were broken. No writing table.
The location it was really good The room is big n comfy
The sound of the train every 5min is terrible The sound of the A/C it was terrible, you wake up every 10min at night The day you have the train n the night you have the a/c With few world you can't relax n can't sleep
Dirty shabby furniture terrible beds
The location was brilliant, couldn't have been in a better place. Security staff on front desk very helpful.
Trains go past window until 2 am and start again around 4:30 5 am. If claim a $US120 fee to clean room was not remotely clean when moved in. Under beds and inside of couch very poorly cleaned. Wardrobe doors broken. Asked for a third bed and advised would be provided. Took 2 days to get it. Almost impossible to find anyone except security staff who take messages. Unhappy as room was booked on basis of pay upon arrival. Took money 2 weeks before I arrived.
Location was good for the event we were there for & close to some nice spots for sight seeing
Building not even labeled as SP Suites, security staff at front desk next to useless, booking agent messed up the reservation and could not even be contacted, kitchen in the unit very run down & no utensils
Amazing location. Good home base for a lot of going out and seeing the city. The doormen/women are friendly and helpful. Most of the furnishings and decorations are modern and stylish. It was affordable for an extended stay right where we wanted to be.
Carpets are really dated, bathtub is tiny, room is very small and has a bit of an awkward layout, took forever to get the TV to work, had to buy our own toilet paper because there was only one roll (and they don't have regular room service), not enough towels for an extended stay, and the window of our studio faced inward towards the center of the building so that our only view was the other internal walls and windows of the other apartments.
The situation and the facilities
It was not very clean. The heat air was very noisy.
quiet , comfortable,
house keeping fees too high. no wifi or tv instructions
