we stayed during the time of year when air temperatures are finicky. the surface of the parking lot was behaving accordingly with, at times, so much melt water that the draining system could not handle. I do not exactly know what the solution to this problem could be, except for installing a new drainage system that, probably, would cost a ton of money. (and would increased the room prices). a cheaper option may be to remember to take a good pair of warm, waterproof, winter boots.
we (I and my daughter) stayed for three days on a discounted nightly stay offer. for that price the stay was well worth it. the proprietors are warm, reasonable and flexible (for example, my daughter ski raced so she needed to be at the mountain way before the breakfast started. the owner, however, accommodated her insatiate desire for home-made pancakes, which, by the way, were delicious). we would gladly come back again.
