The manager wasn't there when we got there, the heat was stuck on 77,the WiFi password didn't work, smelled of stale tobacco, and power, and had to wait for the manager in the morning to pay the bill.
Location and access
No WiFi, No breakfast. Heater not good.
Departure next morning...
Not clean, dust, cobwebs, dirty microwave and fridge, dirty smell in room, too bad we had reserved ahead, couldn't get our money back to go somewhere else.
Many of them ... Location Cost Microwave, fridge Room size Nearby restaurants
The receptionists are very old, cannot remember previous conversations, takes time to understand or pretend not to understand! Small TV
Scenrey is excellent, for one night stay, Okay
Affordable Good location in town
Bathroom tiny and somewhat run-down
- clean. - spacious, comfortable room, and comfortable bed. - no plastic but steel bath.
- room was too close to the road so we could hear sometimes truck passing (ask for a room as far as possible from road), even if efforts were done for isolation (regular cars don't bother). - the heater is a bit old and make some annoying "tic tic" noise all along the night.
Nice and comfortable at reasonable price. Good location.
Wi-Fi didn't get as far as our room at the end of the line.
This was cheaper by $20 from the other motels in the area that I found online. Room was clean, a good operable hot tub, had fridge and microwave in room. Walking distance to many restaurants. Good location for exporing white mountains.
Very outdated decor.
Unhappy staff and the worst is that they don't have hair dryer in the guest room!
Rates. location, staff knowledge and friendliness, morning coffee
Outdated furnishings, unable to control heat in bathroom
Though outside temp was quite high, the heat in the bathroom could not be turned off. The room was like a sauna even with A/C. Other guests (both children and adults) were noisy well into the night - shouting from the balcony to people below, running, thuds and bumps...I would have been better off sleeping in the car at a campsite.
I made the reservation online while traveling late in the evening. Though the front office said they close at 8pm, they had left directions for retrieving the room key in a conspicuous place, so I was able to enter the room with no problem. The room is not new, large, or fancy, but it's clean and adequate for the budget-conscious, no-frills traveler.
I was not able to access the wi-fi. Not sure if that's because I arrived late or because it's just not available at all. I would have felt a little more secure with a dead-bolt on the door.
Motel is in need of renovation, not really dirty, but "gringy" if there is such a word. The carpets are old and dirty, the mattress needs to be changed. The housekeepers are obviously doing the best they can with what they have to work with.
The motel met our needs for a clean comfortable room in a desirable location. If you are looking for luxury, go elsewhere.
After a full day of hiking, if we arrived 20 minutes later...we would not have gotten our room. For some reason, they had us down in the books as already arrived and checked into the motel and paid. All was well in the end since the alternative did not occur.

Cheap price for a place to lay your head
Only had one bed when needed two
Clean bed, hot shower, good Chinese buffet within walking distance, other restuarants nearby, easy to find, right on hwy 2, free wifi, parking, cheap!
no inroom coffee maker, no coffee in lobby till 8 30, no breckie, old tube tv, yada, yada, 45 bucks well spent, McD's down the road
We were arriving after hours, and it was no trouble at all to quickly get our room. I enjoyed the friendly women at the front desk. I would stay here again, it isn't luxurious but feels that way after a day of hiking.
Some aspects of the hotel were old fashioned, but not enough to bother us! It was a great deal.
The only problem is the wifi keeps flickering on and off so halfway through a movie it starts buffering
burned out bulb in wall lamp, poor, poor wifi.toliet tank would run on had to lift cover and close valve manually
On main road near by food and shopping.
Nothing that I may recall.
The showers was cleaned, good TV shows for the kids. Cleaned fridge,
There was a death fly behind the mirrow, one bung Climing on the door, the bed sheet smelled
